“Nikki is amazing and dependable. Whatever your routine she will follow it. Takes time with pets to reassure them they are cared about with love, attention and some playtime. Highly recommend Nikki she is very respectful and friendly.”

“Brooke was great taking care of our cockatiels! She communicated every step of the way and even accommodated us as the snow storm got in the way of our trip. Would definitely recommend!”

“Piper is nothing short of awesome. She cared for my girl shortly after the loss of another pet. It was very hard on all of us but I had to travel due to a sick parent. When we came home, Bentley was good…normal for us being gone for a week. I was so happy that she was doing so well. I highly recommend Piper and will trust her with my furry kids in the future.”

“Kayla did such a wonderful job checking in on our pups while we were out of town. We loved our daily updates and photos. It made us so happy to know they were in such good hands💗”

“Loren was an amazing pet sitter. She was incredibly communicative, loving, and caring with my dogs. Always punctual, attentive, and truly impossible to improve on. She was consistently willing to help, very service-oriented, and made us feel completely at ease. I highly recommend her and would absolutely trust her again with my pets.”

“Alexis did a great job of caring for our kitties, Nala and Adelaide, while we were away for a week. Although Alexis had never been to our home, she easily followed the provided directions to ensure that our girls had clean litter and fresh water, and that our home was secure. She was very professional in communications as well. We will look forward to hiring her for future trips.”

About: I previously worked as an animal care technician at a nonprofit animal shelter, I also own a 4 year old Great Pyrenees as well as a 2 year old mini Aussie. I grew up with farm animals and household pets so I am very use to the nitty gritty that comes with caring for our loved ones. I am a disabled army veteran that’s not currently working so I have all the time in the world for your beloved pets, I am here for you! In my home my dogs get taken out twice a day fed once in the evening and are out roaming all day. But I am flexible to your pets schedule/needs!
About: Have raised many animals ,would love to take care of your kitty cats,Dunn& Erwin NC, only.I am retired. While you are on vacation I will take special care of your kitty cats. Iam retired now so any time I can go & take care of your kitty cats, and spend time with them, playing& feeding them, also clean up. I also have a kitty cat , Albert, also trying to get a stray cat, have gotten her shots, now have appointments to get her fixed.Cathy, black cat.

About: Growing up, I had plenty of cats and dogs, both trained and untrained. I treat fur babies like literal humans, they deserve it. I love to cuddle with animals, play outside, or just be lazy together. I work for myself so I make my own schedule. Therefore, it isn’t hard for me to make arrangements to keep a pet or go and hangout. I have no fur babies as of now (mine recently passed) so you won’t have to worry about your pet being in a fight or hurt by the paws of any animal of mine. My home is on an acre of land with only one neighbor. I have a screened in back porch if the animal loves to sunbathe. I make it a priority to learn any pet I encounter.
“Heather was INCREDIBLE! I have a rather large family of kitties and she didn't hesitate to come and learn about each of them, spend time with them, and make them feel comfortable while I was traveling. I would trust her to come back anytime and may be booking her again soon as we finalize our moving plans. A kind person, sent me plenty of photos, has great experience, and my cats loved her. They were far less stressed having Heather come by each day to play with them, feed them, take care of their litter, etc. I cannot say enough good things!”

About: Our puppy is with us whether we're mountain biking, hiking, camping, hitting softballs for her to fetch, playing ping pong, or doing projects around the house. She's our shadow and we love her. We currently live with four cats and a medium sized mutt and we love them all! We went to get a kitten 2 months ago which would have given us 3 pets, but we ended up with three inseparable siblings. I've personally only trained one puppy but I have a husband at my side that's trained many (many)-a-dog; so I have his experience up my sleeve for training. I'll keep your baby/babies happy until you come home if they require walking, playing, or staying overnight with them. I'm home full-time and we do have a large fenced back yard so staying here IS an option, but if you would like for your baby to stay with us during the day, we'd have to make sure our K-9 kids like each other first. I'm happy and friendly and you should pick me to care for your pup (and, or course, any other animals)!
“Anastasiya took wonderful care of our senior cat. She was responsive to all of my questions. She took care of our. Home as it were hers while we were away. I highly recommend her.”

“The best of the best!! We appreciate Jess. She keeps an eye on all our animals, even our goats and turkey! We can enjoy a getaway while knowing our babies are taken excellent care of while staying in the comfort of their home.”

“Ruth was absolutely amazing!! She was so communicative and kind with watching my cats. I’ve never been so at ease and comfortable being away from them when I need to go on trips. She sent tons of photos and let me know how they were doing, made sure they were clean, well taken care of, and played with on her drop ins. I am SO grateful and appreciative for her kindness and hard work!”

About: I have grown up with small and large dogs my whole life. I currently have 3 dogs of my own ranging from 1 year old to 9 years old. I can walk, bathe, feed, or give medicine to your pet. I currently work 9-5 in Raleigh NC Monday-Friday. I can take care of your fur baby before or after work and even on my lunch break. I can stay for extended time as needed on the weekends as well. I have 3 dogs currently who love to play in our fenced in back yard. I try to take them for walks around the neighborhood as often as I can. They get bi-weekly baths.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Benson. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
