“Nikki is amazing and dependable. Whatever your routine she will follow it. Takes time with pets to reassure them they are cared about with love, attention and some playtime. Highly recommend Nikki she is very respectful and friendly.”

“Brooke was great. Very punctual and took great care of Oreo. He even came out from under the bed to see her and he doesn’t usually come out for people he hasn’t seen numerous times. Was very happy for that. Would recommend her to others and will def be using her again. Thank you Brooke”

She was consistently willing to help, very service-oriented, and made us feel completely at ease. I highly recommend her and would absolutely trust her again with my pets.”

“Alexis did a great job of caring for our kitties, Nala and Adelaide, while we were away for a week. Although Alexis had never been to our home, she easily followed the provided directions to ensure that our girls had clean litter and fresh water, and that our home was secure. She was very professional in communications as well. We will look forward to hiring her for future trips.”

“We cannot recommend Kayla enough! Kayla is an incredible sitter and person! She cared for our babies like they were her own. We had terrible sitter experiences in the past and she made our trip feel less stressful knowing that our babies were in great hands. We looked forward to reading her daily updates and photos, they were the highlights to our days away from home. We will definitely hire her again for future trips. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! ? you’re the best”

“Dillon was so wonderful with our pups! He was very attentive and with a more of a last minute request - he made availability for us. Nala and Beamer were very happy! Thank you!!!”

“Maria is the best! Our cats who are typically shy and bashful were almost instantly drawn to her, she took the extra time to make sure they were both happy and well taken care of. She updated us with lots of photos and gave very detailed notes of her visits. We will absolutely go to Maria for our future pet sitting needs! Thank you again!”

“Everything went well, Emily is great. A real good thing to know we wouldn’t have to worry about our cat while we were gone. Emily got back to us immediately when we sent the request and that was absolutely crucial as time was running out. Good experience overall”

“Emily was great with our two dogs over the weekend! Communication was solid throughout, and it was clear our dogs really liked her. We felt totally at ease knowing they were in good hands. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Nicole continues to be such an attentive, communicative, and calming cat sitter for us. She's one of very very few people our sweet but very anxious little girl Marlow has opened up to and gotten comfortable with, and knowing she has a friend to take care of her when we're away is so, so wonderful.”

“Super kind, personable, and responsible young lady. I hired her to do drop-ins while I was out of town for two days. She was FANTASTIC. Always checked in on time, and my dogs LOVE her. She was house and pet sitting next door, and our neighbors are also very happy with her. Highly recommend.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and always find myself drawn to them. As a young woman searching for my purpose, I want to spend my time doing what fulfills me. I have been pet sitting for my friend who has a dog aggressive dog, and enjoy spending the quality time with her. I will always give exceptional care and focus on forming lasting friendships with the animals in my care. Friendships that last longer than a meet and greet or drop-in visit. I am always looking out for the pet and putting their needs first. I pay attention to animal behavior and never push past their limit, to ensure a good relationship is being built. My primary goal is to make sure the client and pet are comfortable. I currently am not in school or employed as I recently moved to the area. I have lots of time on my hands to spend with your baby. I will always put the pet's needs first, and ensure I keep their schedule the same as my client does for them. I care for the animal and the home and keep it just as I found it.
“Very attentive pet sitter. We have e a cat that needs meds, and she was able and willing to smash up the medication and get into his food. Another of our cats was feeling under the weather and she communicated this to us and was able to care for her. Highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”
“Anastasiya took wonderful care of our senior cat. She was responsive to all of my questions. She took care of our. Home as it were hers while we were away. I highly recommend her.”

“Excellent! Heather communicated well and did a great job. My cats, who usually don’t like people, responded well to her. Would highly recommend and I hope to have her check on my cats again!!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
