About: I have many years of pet care experience! I have taken care of pets for family members and neighbors as far back as I can remember. Growing up, my aunt and uncle owned an animal store- and I was there every weekend for multiple summers to help care for the animals and tend to their needs! Growing up, my mom was always rescuing animals, so I had the privilege of learning how to care for pets of all kinds. Whether it was helping with medications, being gentle with nervous rescues, or lending a hand in training, I developed a lifelong love for animals—and a knack for making them feel safe, loved, and happy. These days, I’m the go-to pet sitter for my family’s pack of five dogs, and I also care for my neighbors’ Mastiff, Golden Retriever, and their four playful cats, including a majestic Maine Coon. About: Hi! I’m Emily and I have the best job in the world! I work with humans and dogs to create a strong foundation built on trust, guidance, respect, and leadership. Backstory: I mentored with a veterinarian through high school, and I was so blessed to get incredible hands on skills medically caring for dogs and cats (and even some hamsters and birds)! Due to this, I’m very comfortable with the often not-so-pretty side to dirty messes and medical needs. If you have a pet with special needs, let’s chat about how we can keep them the most comfortable and cared for in my home! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies before moving overseas. There, I ran an animal rescue, overseeing the care and fostering of about 100 cats and dogs at a time, many of which I helped foster. Once stateside, I decided to continue working with animals and add in “human” training. I began training basic obedience and correcting behaviors for puppy and adult dogs, and I also worked with psychiatric service dogs. Throughout this, most owners I spoke with felt THEY were the ones lacking knowledge, and so I’ve adapted my training and care to the needs of ALL family members. Turns out, my degree wasn’t for nothing ;) About our family: I have a baby girl, two wonderful stepsons, three dogs, and three kitties that make our family wild and so lovely. We are an outdoorsy family, and we all take part in the care of the animals. Our kiddos have grown up learning to respect pets’ boundaries, and we are well versed in the proper introduction for the safety of all. Please, look in advance for weekend and holiday availability, too, as we try to help others with their pet care needs during busy times when we know we’ll be around! I have a vinyl fenced in yard. My dogs are crate trained, and I typically crate dogs overnight who are comfortable with it for their safety and to keep them out of trouble!

About: I've been pet sitting since I was in high school and have experience in cats and dogs. Although I love cats, I'm currently only looking for dog-walking gigs. Most recently, I've dog-sat a blind and energetic lab for six weeks. While it was a challenge, I loved getting to know the dog and learning his style. My days are free and so is my schedule. While I prefer walks on week day afternoons and weekends, I can also do week day mornings. Pet safety is of the utmost importance in my pet care. While on walks, I keep dogs on a leash to ensure they don't run into something unsafe and don't become lost. I also stay aware of my surroundings in case something unexpected happens.

About: I have been a dog owner for over 25 years. I have taken my dogs to obedience school when they were pups. My dogs are gentle and get along with other dogs. I do work day shift and preparing to retire. I would love to care for your dog in my home when you have a get away planned. I have a fenced back yard. One third of the yard is made into a dog kennel. There is access to the garage to get out of the weather. They have almost 1/8 to 1/4th of my garage. I would love for your fur baby to come stay at my home.

About: We recently lost our 15 year old border collie mix, we have had dogs for many years of various ages and we love them like our own! We have experience with medications and senior care too. We are not ready for a new fur baby but would love to take care of yours. We have had many pets with various health needs soand are comfortable with giving medications. I am retired, so I am available most days. Some days I have volunteer duties but they last only a few hours, so I am around and available to spend time with your fur baby. I have a fenced yard and will let them out to enjoy the yard. But I will keep an eye on them, I don't leave my animals out for long periods of time unsupervised.
