I treat every pet like my own and provide regular updates so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I understand that many pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. When caring for your pet in your home, I prioritize consistency, safety, and respect for both your pet and your space.
“Melisa was kind and professional! My dog is often timid and had refused to go out for a walk when I am gone before but Melissa handled it like a champ, was patient and kind, and was able to coax him out of the house. Thank you Melissa!”

About: I’ve taken care of a handful of animals and truly, animals are so drawn to me. I love animals, they are so pure to me! I have a schedule just as much as everyone does, I fit babies into my schedule to ensure they are being well taken care of, etc. I have a perch for my cat and make sure she is being taken care of, I give her lots of love and I love other animals just as much as I love my own.
About: I've always had dogs in my family, including several rescue dogs which has been super rewarding. My husband and I have been fortunate to be able to retire early but we are both very active. I want to spend my spare time doing something productive that I love... caring for dogs is a perfect fit! Most of my time is spent at my home and in our back yard. I have 2 dogs that are very social and love spending time with other dogs. They will enjoy having play-dates with your dog(s). I believe that every dog deserves to be valued and loved. I limit the dogs I board to a maximum of 4 dogs at a time in order to ensure that each dog will get proper care and attention. I don't work outside of the home. If I need to run an errand or go shopping, my husband is typically home to care for the digs. Dogs are rarely left alone, but if they are, it is for no longer than 2 to 3 hours. When the weather is nice, we keep the sliding door open so that the dogs can hang out indoor or outdoors, wherever they feel most comfortable. During the colder months we let the dogs out every two to four hours. We don't crate dogs unless that's what they're used to. We allow dogs on our furniture and in our bed.
About: I offer over 15 years of pet care experience to animals both large and small. My background includes professional work experience in animal care, working as a stablehand and caring for large animals at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Washington State University in 2018. I am passionate about dog training and enjoy working with young dogs. We also have two fish tanks, so I have knowledge and experience caring for aquatic friends. I am a current pet mom and hybrid worker looking to help others with their pet care needs during my flex days at work on Mondays and Fridays. I offer flexibility in scheduling and am happy to complete walks around your local neighborhood or specific area nearby. I have a fenced back yard and single-story floorplan with a dog to keep yours company during the day! I am comfortable with adhering to more structured care plans and offer space for kenneling if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs around me my whole life; from active labs to precocious cocker spaniels to mutts with needs, I’m happy to provide the care your pets need while you’re away. I’m flexible with all play styles and feeding habits, all while staying firm against begging for food we can’t have and keeping a close eye on problem behaviors such as digging or pillow ripping. I love all kinds of dogs, from hyperactive to couch potatoes, malamutes to chihuahuas, puppies to senior dogs. I’ll be sure to keep your fluffy friends entertained and well kept while you’re away! As for walking, I always strive to make sure your four legged friend has their share of exercise and fresh air. My time is currently open to weekdays from 6 am to 11 pm. I’m happy to check on your pets multiple times a day to keep up with their schedules, and am happy to follow plans as needed. I do my best to follow any instructions provided for your pet. I’m happy to play, take pets outside into yards or for walks in the neighborhood to get their energy out, feed them on their schedules, and visit multiple times a day to keep your pet happy and entertained. I have a preference for crate trained dogs, but for those more well-behaved, I have no qualms. As for cats, I’m happy to keep quiet and leave them to their own pace, letting myself be available to them while not invading their space.

About: I am Suzy I grew up on a farm in a small town. I just retired from being a private hospice caregiver. I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, pigs, goats and horses. I have had my own dogs and cats and started helping more with pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family. I have an alternative medicine degree and it has helped me not only in my personal life but also with my animals lives. I am good with dogs and cats that have high energy and separation anxiety. I am loving being retired and building my pet sitting business that revolves around cuddles with cats and dogs. I started doing this because I have 3 grand pups and 1 grand cat along with 1 human grand daughter and it has brought me peace and happiness. I was lost on what I wanted to do with this part of my life. I immensely enjoy pet sitting and meeting new pet owners and pets. I am not in a position to have pets at my home. However in your home I am there to help your animal not feel alone by giving them the attention they need or what you have requested.

About: Having grown up from a very young age around cats and dogs, I love spending time with animals of all kinds! I have done house sitting for the pets of several friends and families over the past few years, including caring for disabled and senior pets, for up to five weeks at a time. I worked as a dog groomer during the summer of 2025 and got to interact with dogs of all ages, manors & breeds! As someone who is active and loves spending time outdoors, I am well suited for high-energy pups. I am new to this platform, but not to pet sitting! I am currently working part time, only in the mornings three days a week, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I go for a run every day, and would love to take your dog with me if he/she is up for it! I love to spend time playing with, walking & entertaining your pets, making sure they spend as much time doing what they love as possible. I can care for pets in your house or take them out on day trips/adventures it that's allowed!
About: Hi, I am Lukas. I am an experienced and CPR-certified pet sitter who has been caring for animals since 2005. I grew up fostering kittens and walking neighborhood dogs. My favorite, most-read book was "The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Dogs, Dog Breeds & Dog Care" by Larkin et al. I also spent years patiently befriending stray cats, raccoons, and one opossum by sitting quietly with them until they felt safe enough to approach. That early experience shaped how I care for animals today. I let each pet show me who they are, and I match my approach to their individual needs. Over the years, I have cared for cats, dogs, goats, and rabbits. I have worked with senior pets and kittens. I have supported animals who feel anxious or reactive. I have managed medication regimens and cared for households with multiple pets. Beginning in 2025, I finally started offering paid dog sitting and house sitting for friends for stays up to two weeks. My goal is always to create a calm and predictable environment where animals can relax while their people are away. My rates are currently at or below Washington state’s minimum wage and wage differential standards/practices. When I care for dogs, I use a structured routine that includes feeding, potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and enriching activities to help them feel settled. I only walk one dog at a time, and I only walk dogs that I know. For safety, I require that the dog be leash-trained and wear a dedicated walking collar or harness that will not choke if they pull. With cats and other quiet companions, I rely on gentleness, patience, and observation. I never force physical contact. If they want affection, I am happy to offer it. If they prefer space, I honor that and let them approach me on their own terms. Even very shy cats often warm up to me because I do not rush them. Communication matters to me. You will receive photos of your pets when I arrive and when I leave. I also send extra pictures or videos when your pet does something sweet or interesting. Being away from a beloved animal can be stressful, and I want you to feel connected and reassured. Pets are family members, and each one has a unique personality and way of moving through the world. My goal is to support that individuality and help each pet live comfortably and confidently while you are gone. I want you to feel completely certain that your animals are safe and cared for with genuine warmth and professionalism. IMPORTANT NOTE: All pets must have up-to-date vaccinations, be spayed/neutered, and show no symptoms of communicable diseases (Parvo, kennel cough, etc.). I work part-time as a barista, and I am an online student. I will request internet access in your home if I'm staying for longer than half an hour, so I can tackle some schoolwork if my calendar schedule is particularly full. I get my work schedule for the week every Sunday night, so I usually respond to requests on Mondays. But I'm flexible. If you have a question, let's chat. Important note: Potty breaks aren't just for pets! I may need to use your bathroom. Please leave it unlocked. I do not offer boarding at this time, which means I'll be caring for pets in your home. If you decide to book with me, I'll have you fill out a document with information on your pets' particular needs and routines (medications, potty frequency, dietary restrictions, etc).

Haley did a great job walking my border collie! My dog is very high energy and she came back very calm and happy. Haley was very kind to take several adorable photos of her along their walk too. I will definitely request Haley for future walks. Thank you again Haley!
