About: In all my life, I've never lived long in a place without some type of pet. Dogs especially, I care for the excitable and shy pups of all kinds! All dogs, no matter what breed, deserve love and attention as much as any human deserves it. Dog trainer... in training! Fun fact: I know a lot about dog breeds! I can correctly identify a small portion of dog breeds when I see a dog. I plan on learning much more with the research I do. I'm (trying) setting up for college classes, so I have a very flexible schedule with tons of time to give tons of animals tons of love!! Currently in my house we have 3 dogs and 1 cat. One of the dogs is a 3 month old puppy, the other is his mother, and the third is a dog we've had for longer that's a Chihuahua mix. The cat, as well as the Chihuahua are very wary of our newcomers, but I make sure to treat them all the same, feed them, give them love, keep an eye out for them so no animal gets harmed, and more. In the future, I plan on having a minor degree in veterinary care for animals, as well. I am uniquely dedicated to the pet grind.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve been a dog walker for several households in my neighborhood. I’ve been an active participant in dog training since I was 11 (taking dogs to training classes and learning how to teach commands via the clicker reward system). I also have experience cat sitting. I am currently a doctoral student at the university of Maryland, so I am free anytime after 6 PM on week nights, and my weekends are flexible. I also tend to run early in the morning (usually by 6 AM) if you’re dog would like to join me I can certainly make that happen, or I’m happy to include them in the warm up or cool down if walking is more their speed ! I have a fenced in backyard if your dog wants to hangout here for the day. I also have a playful 2 year old cat who LOVES his canine buddies! He also enjoys playing with other cats, he’s never met a person or animal he didn’t like! However, if your pet is more of a Lone Ranger there is ample space to separate them as well.

About: A Lifetime of Love (and chihuahuas) I’ve raised dogs from birth to theur senior years— including 5 chihuahuas (Yes, five!). I’ve also cared for Boxers, Rottweilers, Labs, Bullies, Shih Tzus, and more for family and friends. From energetic pups to slow-paced seniors, I adjust my care to fit each dog’s vibe. I notice the little things: their favorite walking route, a change in mood, how they like their leash clipped. I’m not just here for a walk—I’m here to be their new favorite part of the day. Weekends I am available all day before 6pm, and I love the idea of bringing pups along for some fresh air and company. When I walk dogs, I treat them with my full attention, patience, and protection. I always keep pups on the safer side of the road, stay alert to anything in the environment that could be a risk, and avoid potentially harmful situations at all costs. About: Individual with a BS degree in animal science who loves animals of all kinds and would love to keep your furry family members as happy, active, and healthy as possible while you are away! I have over 1000 hours working with animals in all aspects from basic husbandry and pet sitting to veterinary clinical care! I work at an animal hospital/daycare/boarding facility full time, so my availability for services such as walk will be limited to my days off (usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Due to my busy schedule working a full time job at a veterinary clinic, my services are best suited to individual walks or drop in visits.

About: I have had pets my whole life (many cats and a dog—as well as a few reptiles) and have experience looking after both cats and dogs. I currently have one cat named Hildegard (I can spend way too long talking about her) and grew up having four cats in the house! I do not currently have a dog and I would love to spend time taking care of yours! I have flexible availability and will always check in/update the owner as much as they would like. I am a grad student on summer break, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I do research at libraries during the day when they're open, but aside from that I'm pretty open with availability. If there is an issue with scheduling I'm usually able to move things around to make it work and happy to work with you to figure out the best plan for you and your pet(s)! I always check in with the owner if anything comes up and will make sure to send you updates as much as you'd like. I have experience caring for animals and always try my best to read their body language to make sure they're happy and feel safe.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and I have always said if you want a pet get a fish but if you want family get a dog. Dogs in my house are treated with respect and love. I have a 6 yr old German Shepherd that is my baby. I work from home so my dog is with me all the time. I have the freedom for walks, playing and minor training that I have learned working with my dog. I have a fenced in yard and doggie door so that the dogs can come and go as needed and spend a lot of time playing and interacting with them. My dog gets along with other dogs and likes to run and play. I do have a large crate if needed but I allow dogs to roam freely in my home and yard.

I've been dog/cat sitting for mainly family and friends for over a decade now so I decided to take the Rover leap. I am flexible and easy going so if your dog or cat is high maintenance or has specific needs, I can handle that with no problem. I love taking them on walks, hikes and to any kind of dog friendly environment. Your animal will be my best friend! SO pick me, choose me! I look forward to it! My weekends are open and weekdays I am available anytime after 4pm until 10pm but I am flexible. I can work around schedules on an as need basis. I prefer caring for you pet(s) at your residence because I have two cats at home and live in a basement apartment. There are also two dogs and a cat living above me so it is not ideal for me to care of animals at my residence unfortunately.
