“Myndee was fantastic! Our dogs took to her right away! She was prompt, sent pictures and videos. Very sweet and kind, you can tell she has a love for animals! Definitely recommend and will use her again!”

“Dustin was great with my dogs and followed my senior dog’s med schedule like I asked. I have nervous girl that was unsure at first but Dustin won her over and they were getting along great by the end of the visit. Dustin also went above and beyond and stayed late waiting for me to get home and not leaving the dogs alone.”

About: 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 Hi, I'm Kiley! I am a former communications officer with the Fredericksburg Police Department who turned a lifelong passion into opening my own home bakery, The Giving Treat. My entire pet care focus is dedicated to providing premium, attentive care exactly where your pets are most comfortable: right in their own home. Whether it's an energetic neighborhood walk, a midday drop-in, or overnight house sitting, I bring a high level of professionalism, reliability, and detail-oriented care to your pet's familiar routine. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐞? I believe pet care should be a stress-free, premium experience for both you and your furry family members. When you book with me, you aren’t just getting someone to check a box, you’re getting a dedicated caretaker who treats your home and pets with the utmost respect. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 *𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞*: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔: You will receive frequent, bright, high-quality photo updates during our time together so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing. 𝑨 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒔𝒂𝒌𝒆: At the end of my time with your pet, I print out one of our best photos, turn it into a custom magnet, and leave it on your fridge as a permanent keepsake. 𝑨 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌-𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕: Along with a handwritten wrap-up note, I always leave a complimentary fresh-baked treat from my bakery for you to enjoy when you get home! 𝐌𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝑺𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒆𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 & 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆: Leaving a senior or medically fragile pet can be incredibly stressful, but your furry family member is in safe, experienced hands with me. I am highly comfortable administering medications, managing strict veterinary schedules, and navigating specialized care. My personal and professional experience includes managing **feline diabetes**, tracking **strict prescription urinary diets**, and caring for sweet cats with **Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH)**. 𝑪𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒆: As a dedicated cat parent to four rescues of my own, I speak "fluent feline." I understand how to read cat body language, handle complex weight-management schedules, and give them the exact space, pacing, or affection they need on their own terms. 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝑫𝒐𝒈 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈: I have years of experience walking dogs of various sizes and energy levels, keeping them safe, engaged, and thoroughly exercised. 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 & 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕: My background in local law enforcement communications means I take home security, clear communication, and emergency preparedness incredibly seriously. Your keys, codes, and home are entirely safe in my hands. I can't wait to meet you and your pets! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a Meet & Greet. I operate a small cottage bakery full-time, which gives me excellent flexibility throughout the week! My primary baking days are Thursdays and Fridays. Outside of those specific baking windows, my schedule is completely open and flexible for midday walks, drop-in visits, and plenty of focused attention for your pets on weekends and early-to-mid-week days. Because I run an active home kitchen, I provide care exclusively in your pet's familiar, comfortable home environment. My background in local law enforcement communications means I prioritize home security, strict adherence to instruction, and safety above all else. Your keys, home access codes, and pet safety are handled with the highest level of professional responsibility. I treat your space with complete respect while ensuring your pets remain safe, happy, and relaxed.
“I want to give a shoutout to Lucas! He took wonderful care of Luke. He was prompt and followed all our instructions to the letter. Lucas was so patient with Luke. It's clear he really cares about animals—Luke seemed happy and well-rested when we returned. We'll definitely be requesting Lucas again.”

About: My family and I have fostered cats and dogs and provided hospice care for a dog with cancer (1 year) until she passed. I understand all breeds and their unique energy needs and activity levels. Medical care and aging limitations would be understood and can be tended to with your pet care needs. I work full time M, T, Th, F, Sa 8am until the deliveries are complete (can range from 2pm to 6pm). When I am not home, there are other family members present (spouse works, dad is retired). In the afternoon and evenings, my children will be attentive to any animals kept at my home. I enjoy connecting with all animals. Our weekends are more hectic with soccer season in full swing. Some weekends we may be elsewhere in Virginia with limited care depending on the weekend, April through June. We have a small fenced in yard with the ability to take your pet out for long, short, or frequent walks. My kids would provide any extra loving and attention while your pet is in my care. I kept a friend's cat for a week. When that week was up, her cat didn't want to leave. Whenever I visit them, the cat finds me to snuggle while I am around. Animals can sense the love and kindness within our family.
“Hello, For a last minute booking, Anna was very professional and communicative during the process and her visit with our wonderful zoo. Would recommend and we will keep her in mind for our next getaway. Thanks again Anna. Dave”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and have been a proud dog owner since I was a young kid. I know exactly what it takes to keep a pup happy and healthy. In addition to raising my own dogs, I have extensive experience caring for others' pets. I regularly host family friends' dogs, have completed overnight house sittings (including 3+ night stays), and frequently manage dog walking schedules. Because my own dog at home prefers to be an 'only child,' I do not offer boarding at my house—meaning your dog gets 100% of my attention right in the comfort of their own familiar environment. (Please note: I do not care for cats due to allergies!). I am a recent college graduate spending my summer strictly focused on studying for my medical school entrance exams. Because my entire schedule consists of independent laptop study, I treat house sitting as my personal, quiet study retreat. Your dog will be my primary focus! I love using my study breaks to get outside, stretch my legs, and take your pup for long, refreshing walks. I am home for the vast majority of the day, making my schedule flexible and reliable. I know how important it is to feel secure leaving your home and pet in someone else's hands. I am clean, quiet, and extremely respectful of your space. While watching your pup, I follow their exact routine down to the letter to keep their stress levels low. I maintain an eagle-eye view on safety during walks, keeping dogs securely on-leash and away from unknown animals. Plus, I love sending regular photo and text updates so you have total peace of mind while you're away!

About: I have over 10 years experience with training dogs. I’m currently a certified dog trainer at Petsmart. I will treat your pup with respect. No such thing as a bad dog. Can't wait to meet your pup. I’m a trainer at petsmart current working everyday except Tuesdays and Thursdays currently. Those days I’m free to feed, walk, play with or dog sit your pup. Anytime day or night on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I will take the time to meet with you ahead of time and follow all instructions. I’m dog CPR certified. I will make sure I know where everything is that I need and that I have vet contact details.
“She is punctual and responsive to all messages. Tiffany is very personal, professional and patient with our dogs. She allowed my older dog to relax and chill out while at the same time, she played with my very energetic and playful puppy.”

“Hailey is the BEST! She was incredibly flexible with us as we were traveling for medical reasons and didn't know the exact dates until last minute. She took great care of our fur baby and home, sent lots of pictures, and is very communicative. We felt like our dog got her very own staycation while we were away! 10/10 recommend!”

About: I began caring for my cat, Tori, who has allergies and respiratory issues, and through that experience I learned how to give medication, monitor breathing, and provide gentle emotional support. Taking care of her taught me how deeply pets trust us and how important consistent, loving care is. I want to bring that same compassion to every pet I look after. I currently don’t work part time or attend school, so I have plenty of time every day, including weekends, to care for your pets with full attention and love. 1️⃣ Clean, safe, and caring pet care 2️⃣ Safe, gentle, and loving care 3️⃣ Hygienic and caring pet service 4️⃣ Clean hands, safe pets, happy hearts 5️⃣ Gentle care with safety first
“Bethany was amazing, we felt completely at ease leaving our baby with her. She asked all the right questions at the meet and greet, kept us updated daily with photos, and added such thoughtful touches like a toy and printed pictures. Nalah will for sure be seeing Bethany again! Don’t hesitate and book her!”

About: I've been caring for dogs in one form or another since I was a young child. I've experience with rambunctious puppies and incontinent senior dogs. I've also experience with house-training puppies and working with high-energy adult dogs still in training. I believe that consistency and love are integral to keeping dogs of all ages happy and healthy. My experiences with my own dog, a very spirited border collie mix, have been proof of concept. Dogs need stimulation and I am happy to play, go on long walks and trips to the dog park to make sure that your dog gets the attention and energy outlet they need! I have open availability during weekdays and weekend mornings. I can begin as early as 7 am and continue until 8 pm. Special accommodation can also be negotiated if needed. I prefer to care for pets in the client's home, as my own home is full of cats and a pair of rambunctious dogs. I will follow all instructions given by the client regarding needs in the home and will walk the surrounding neighborhood if possible. If the neighborhood is not suitable (heavy traffic, lack of sidewalks) and if permission is given I can take dogs to walking paths in Fredricksburg or dog parks to ensure they have sufficient enrichment.
“Our pups loved spending 2 days with Calista. Communication with her was great and she was on time for meet and greet as well as the visits with our pups. Highly recommend and will be happy to have her watch our pups. You won’t be disappointed!”

About: I am experienced in caring for pets at every stage of life, from energetic 8-week-old puppies and kittens to gentle seniors who need extra patience. Whether your young pet requires consistent training, or your older dog or cat needs precise medication administration like oral pills, I adapt my care to fit their exact needs. I am fully available for holiday bookings to give you total peace of mind during your travels, and I love sending daily photo updates so you can see how much fun your fur baby is having. Every animal receives the specialized attention, safety, and affection they deserve to feel completely at home. As a retiree, I have the luxury of time and flexibility to dedicate completely to your pets. I am available throughout the day, meaning your furry family members will never feel lonely and will receive constant supervision, companionship, and affection. Whether they need midday strolls, frequent potty breaks, or just someone to lounge next to them on the couch, my open schedule allows me to fully focus on making your pets feel safe, pampered, and loved. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your furry family members behind, which is why I treat every guest with the same deep affection, kindness, and respect I would show my own. While you are away, your pets will not just be watched; they will be genuinely loved, comforted, and welcomed into a warm environment where their happiness and safety are my absolute top priorities.
“She is awesome! My pups definitely had a good time, lots of playtime, and we came home and they were safe and happy! Definitely recommend, and will ask to have her back in the future! Thank you. :)”

“April is seriously the sweetest. She helped us out with a last-minute work trip and still showed up with so much care even while going through a hard time herself. Our dogs were happy and well taken care of and that gave us so much peace of mind. We truly appreciate her and would 100% love working with her again. 💛”

I highly recommend Helen to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter. She has excellent communication skills, responds quickly, and keeps you updated on your fur babies throughout her visits. We have four cats, including two kittens, and Helen did an outstanding job caring for all of them. She even administered medication without hesitation, which gave us great peace of mind. Helen is trustworthy, kind, and genuinely compassionate with animals. I wouldn't hesitate to use her services again and will absolutely be booking with her in the future!

Madison was incredibly attentive and loving, perfectly balancing the chaotic needs of our high-energy puppy while showing patience and care to our elderly, slower dog. We received the sweetest updates while away that made our vacation stress free knowing they were taken care of. We will absolutely be booking her again!

Kylee did such a great job with our two pups. We needed a last minute sitter for an 11 day trip and she was able to come do a meet and greet immediately. Throughout the trip she made us feel like our dogs were well taken care of and sent update photos. She did exactly what we requested and came at of the time frames we needed for the dogs. We would definitely recommend Kylee and plan to use her again in the future.

Bethany was amazing, we felt completely at ease leaving our baby with her. She asked all the right questions at the meet and greet, kept us updated daily with photos, and added such thoughtful touches like a toy and printed pictures. Nalah will for sure be seeing Bethany again! Don’t hesitate and book her!

Shortly before leaving for a two week international trip I was left trying to find a long term, overnight sitter on short notice for my dog. Aubry was quick to respond to my request and was very open with how long she would have to leave my dog to attend classes or walk another dog. Even so she left Lucy-Mae for no more than a few hours at a time. She kept me updated and even gave Lucy-Mae a bath during her sit. I feel a huge weight had been lifted knowing someone like Aubry is available to help care for my spoiled little girl and will absolutely be booking her for future overnights or random walks I need covered.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Jessica! There’s never a doubt in our minds that our Nelly is well taken care of when she’s with Jessica. She sends multiple updates throughout the day and captures the best photos. It’s clear she is thoughtful, attentive, and loves our pup like her own. Thank you Jessica!

Chrystianne, was great with Neo along with great communication when tending to him and left my place immaculate which I appreciate! I felt comfortable with leaving my boy in her care. Will definitely reach out to her in the future when Neo needs a sitter! Highly recommend her for your pets needs!

We were so happy to have found Madeline to care for our four little ones. They took to her immediately and as she did with them. It's almost impossible to find someone with such a pleasant and professional personality, and willing to sit with four dogs. We will definitely book Madeline from now on, allowing us to be away with complete confidence our dogs and home are in great hands.
Brittney was great as usual. She always makes sure my babies and my house is well taken care of. She keeps me updated on how they are doing and even made sure this time my baby that had surgery recently took it easy. My babies love her and I am so grateful that I can travel with a peace of mind. Thanks again Brittney!!

Fallon helped us out in a pinch and we could have not been happier! She is professional, responsive and took great care of our pups while we spent a full day out. She sent pictures throughout the day and we had no worries! Will 100% use her again and highly recommend.

FAQs for House Sitting - Bellvue
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Bellvue on Rover is $44.4 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 1,093 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bellvue. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bellvue walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bellvue maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bellvue choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bellvue. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
