I have been house and pet sitting in Durango for two years now. I love animals and have a ton of free time to focus on your furry friends when you're away. I had a doggo who I trained myself so I know how patient and kind you need to be with young dogs. I have a lot of experience with older dogs as I have three regular clients who I house sit for with dogs over the age of 8. Older dogs need lots of love and attention but also a slower pace when walking and extra care (medication, exercise for joints, and more downtime). I love to go on hikes with dogs I care for around town for exercise. I also love the river walk trail and dog parks in the area. I am open to, and would appreciate, having a meet and greet with you and your pet(s) before we start spending time together while you're away!

I work from home so I have plenty of time to fit in walks and play time throughout my day with your furry friend! On the weekends I am able to offer longer (3-5 mile) walks and hikes for more energetic pups! I can also provide transport in my vehicle to the canal path or dog park for play time.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not offer dog boarding because I believe dogs feel safest and more comfortable in their own space/home. This is why I provide in home services such as drop ins and even overnight stays. I am available to stay overnight as needed or be at your home first thing in the morning and late into the evening to let your pet in and out as needed. Whatever you’re most comfortable with I can accommodate!

A typical day
I enjoy taking the doggos I watch on long walks and to new places! If you have slow feeder games for your pet or lick mats I am happy to prep and supply those for extra stimulation! I will send daily photos/videos as requested and ensure you are kept up to date on your pets status!
