About: I have four years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, which has given me a strong foundation in daily pet care and animal behavior. My responsibilities have included feeding, grooming, administering medications, and providing consistent companionship and exercise. I take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and enriching environment for animals under my care. In addition to personal pet ownership, I’ve provided light pet care services in private households. These roles included walking, feeding, and monitoring the well-being of family pets during regular and extended visits. I am attentive to each animal’s specific needs, routines, and preferences. Families trust me to treat their pets with respect, patience, and reliability. My goal is always to ensure pets feel secure, loved, and well-cared for in their owner’s absence. I have a flexible job schedule that allows me ample free time throughout the day, making me highly available to walk dogs on a consistent basis. My adaptable hours enable me to accommodate various client needs, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I am committed to providing reliable and attentive care, ensuring every dog receives the exercise and companionship they deserve. My flexibility allows me to build strong, dependable relationships with both pets and their owners. I prioritize safety during every walk by using secure, well-fitting collars or harnesses and sturdy leashes. I stay vigilant of the dog’s surroundings to avoid hazards like traffic, aggressive animals, or harmful objects. I monitor the dog’s behavior and physical condition closely to prevent overexertion or distress. Hydration and weather conditions are always considered to keep the dog comfortable and healthy. In all situations, my goal is to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and stress-free experience for every dog in my care.

“Megan is an absolute god send and was so good with our cats! We had some special precautions in place to prevent fighting between our two furballs when we’re not home, and she was super flexible and attentive. Thank you so much, Megan! :)”

About: I have had dogs for 15 years so I am comfortable walking and taking care of dogs. I have never owned a cat but have been around them so I am also comfortable with cats. I am currently working part-time but I have plenty of time to care for your beloved pets. I can do a one time visit or scheduled visits for an extended period of time. 1. Understand the Pet’s Needs Ask the client for detailed instructions: feeding times, food type, medications, allergies, walking schedule, etc. Learn about the pet’s behavior (friendly, anxious, aggressive) and routines. 2. Maintain Safety and Cleanliness Always secure doors, gates, and crates to prevent escapes. Clean up after the pet, especially accidents or food spills. Keep harmful items (medications, cleaning products, small objects) out of reach. 3. Respect the Client’s Home Use designated areas for feeding, walking, or playing. Avoid letting pets on furniture unless permitted. Follow house rules for access to rooms or areas. 4. Provide Emotional Comfort Speak calmly and gently. Maintain familiar routines to reduce stress. Spend time playing or cuddling if the pet enjoys it. 5. Watch for Signs of Illness or Distress Monitor for changes in eating, behavior, or bathroom habits. Inform the client immediately if anything seems off. Know emergency contacts, including the vet’s information. 6. Document and Communicate Leave notes or updates (text, photos) about the pet’s day. Be honest about any issues or accidents.

“Jessica was great. She is very reliable, followed our directions and our dog loved her visits. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life. I currently own two beautiful well behaved huskies. Both are rescues! Also have in my family a German shepherd and a Belgian malinois. Dogs make me happy and I would drop anything for them, not only mine but also yours. I currently work remote full time for my job but I am able to leave at all hours to give care all day to your loving pets! I will make sure they are cared for, loved and well taken care of during my visit. I will make sure they get the proper exercise.

About: My name is Jennifer Gillio. I am 54 years old and love animals (especially dogs and cats). I have had two dogs in past and a cat. I have about 20 years experience dog sitting/walking and picking up feces. I am knowledgeable of making sure an animal is being taken care of. My favorite thing to do is to play with them. I live in Hillsborough New Jersey. I would like to stay 10-15 miles radius. I work in a public school and finish work June 25. In the summer and on breaks I will have more time. But during the school year I can offer some late afternoons and early evenings and some weekends. I am very excited to animal sit/walk your pet. I hope to hear from you soon!!! During the summer months, I have more flexibility. I can do walks and drop-ins between 2-7pm. a few days a week (some weekends if needed). I can't care for pets in my home. But I am willing to do drop ins like feeding and filling water and maybe hanging out for a few hours.

Andrea was great. My cats were taken care of and I felt so much more comfortable after her visit started. Thanks Andrea!

Hannah was very responsive, went above and beyond! Also sent very cute photos of our cats which we appreciated.

Christian was a fantastic cat sitter! He was always punctual and incredibly easy to communicate with - quick to respond and very accommodating to all of our requests. He made sure our cats were well taken care of each day, from mealtimes to playtime, refilling their water, keeping their litter box clean, and even leaving the TV on for them just the way they like it. We especially appreciated all the photos he sent during each visit - it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We could tell our cats were happy and comfortable with him. Highly recommend Christian!
