“Penny is a rock star. We left our dog and my daughter’s dog with her at our house over Christmas. My daughter’s dog has a seizure disorder and takes 3 pills twice a day. He hadn’t had a seizure in months, but of course had 3 Grand Mals in one day with Penny. She got in touch with us and handled the situation perfectly, giving him his extra meds and keeping a close watch on him. She even offered to not go to her sister’s house on Christmas so she could keep an eye on Lovund. My dog, who is very quirky, ignored Penny most of the time, but Penny was not fazed but this. June finally approached Penny after we got home, wagging her tail and licking Penny’s hand- June’s stamp of approval! Our house was in good shape when we got home. I felt very comfortable leaving our pups with Penny and would not hesitate to utilize her again.”

I was so nervous having a pet sitter but Gretchen was patient with him as he’s anxious and fearful sometimes and is not sure about strangers. About: I have been watching and playing with animals since I was 13 years old. I am experienced with giving animals meds and any other special needs. I currently am unemployed while I wait for places around the area to start hiring again, so this would be my income for the moment!! I care for pets in the owners home however they please. Since I mainly focus on local care I can come by as many times during the day as needed!

About: I grew up around dogs of all sizes! I’ve not had the chance to own a dog of my own, but frequently take care of family/friend pets when needed. I can easily adapt to training routines and am an active person who likes to spend time outside. I’m available and wanting to spend my days surrounded by nature and fur babies! I’ve recently relocated to the Peninsula, after living in Seattle, so I will already be spending much of my time on hikes - why not add a fur baby or two to the mix? I’m adaptive and a quick learner - if you have a training routine, I’ll follow it! I realize the stress of leaving your dog at home while you’re on a trip, so I will do everything in my power to make the experience a smooth one. Want update pics? Done. 5 walks a day? Done.
