About: I have worked at a dog boarding kennel/shelter for over two years where I have gained a huge amount of skills and experience caring for dogs. On a daily basis I walk, feed, medicate, bathe, clean up after, and cuddle with dogs of every size and temperament. Additionally, I've worked at farms and owned quite a few fur-babies of my own so I'm quite comfortable caring for all sorts of animals including cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, fish, chickens, parrots, horses, goats, donkeys, and more! About: Returning to pet-sitting and walking as I rejoin the freelance world! I've always had a pet in the house, be it a cat or dog. I was the person who got to know the pet and their needs personally and cater to them. With siblings who travel often knowing I'm a pet person, I am often asked to check on their dogs (3 poodles in one household, 2 pugs in another) while they're away. Hello my name is Christa, we are a military family. I was in the Navy for 7 years and my husband is currently stationed in Indian head. In the past we have owned a dachshund and a westie, so they hold a special place in our hearts, but we love all dogs. In our house your dog will be one of the family. We will give them all the love and snuggles! Must be good with children. I have a 1yo and 4yo. They are very gentle with animals but will still get in their face and want to pet them. We only watch one dog at a time. I am a stay at home mom so your pet will get lots of attention and frequent potty breaks. We also like to go on walks when the weather is not too hot. I usually bring a wagon, incase anyone gets tired. My husband is a couch potato. All dogs love him and are usually snuggling up on the couch with him in the evenings. I currently stay home with my daughter full time so we have all the time to give your fur babies the attention and love they deserve with frequent walks and love. We like to go for many walks around our neighborhood. Our neighborhood is quiet and has many walking trails nearby. We do not go out if the weather is too hot.

About: Hi, my name is Mesha (mee-sha) :) I am a recent college graduate (B.S. in Sociology) and am currently working as a substitute teacher and volleyball coach. I have also been working in Animal Rescue since I was about 10yrs old and plan to continue so I can advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. In our rescue, I mostly fostered abandoned cats & kittens, to get them safe, healthy, socialized and ready for forever homes. From there, I began pet sitting and have 10+yrs experience. I have taken care of dogs (all sizes and breeds), cats, birds & a pig :) I am open to just about any animal (farm or domestic and even huskies) although maybe not spiders 😬 I offer both daily checks/feeding and overnights and have helped with feral colonies when caregivers were away. While in college, I was an NCAA athlete, maintained a 3.0gpa, coached and continued to work in rescue. About: Hi! I’m Charlie and I’d be honored to help you with your pet needs. I have fostered 17 dogs, mostly seniors, from mid-size to xl and a whole range of breeds, temperaments and quirks! I understand that each dog has their own unique personality and have become adept at reading dog body language and helping them feel safe and comfortable with me. I have had my beautiful fur buddy (pictured) for 12 glorious years, together we have gone through puppy socialization classes and dog obedience training, (not to mention a transatlantic flight, 3 house moves & 5 deployments). He is a 12yo German shepherd, who has taught me how to be a kind, patient leader and how to work with headstrong, intelligent dogs. In 2022 the universe decided we needed another dog and we ended up with Blitz, a Siberian husky that has had a very hard life, after the family we were fostering him for decided they didn’t want him back and we couldn’t find anyone in the market for a “husky with issues”. Growing up with 2 dogs and 3 cats I am most happy when I can share space with animals. I have previous experience with dog walking and house visits for cats. I would love to meet, become friends with and help out with your fur-friend and will take care of them with diligence, love and joy. I look forward to meeting your family! I am available for dog walking and house calls weekdays, between 9.30-3. Weekends and evening walks and house visits can be arranged on an individual basis. We live on 8 wooded acres, perfect for exercise and olfactory stimulation for your pup. I have two senior pups that are used to sharing their space with other dogs and two respectful children that love dogs whilst also being great at respecting their boundaries (they have experienced all manner of foster dogs with their varied personalities and needs). I can accommodate crating if necessary but as I am home most of the day it is unlikely they will be crated unless you specifically request it. I don’t have a fenced yard, so if your dog is an escape artist then our space may not be best for them, but for most dogs this just means fun stimulating walks, instead of yard time. We do plan to add a fenced area in the future.
