English is amazing! She took good care of my senior dog Rex. She was patient and kind and kept me posted the whole entire time. She is reliable and always on time. Which was crucial with Rex having mobility issues and needing to go to the bathroom more often. I will book her again.❤️

About: I've been an animal lover ever since I was a little girl. Animals have always loved me and can feel how much I love them instantly! I've had multiple pets in my life: birds and cats. I've been around dogs a lot and take care of my neighbors big Pitbull mix dog all the time. The size of the animal does not stop me from loving them and giving them the best time with me. I don't just pet the dogs, I actually play with them. Run around, fetch, walk them and making sure they get water during/after playtime. I am currently a stay at home mom with a reliable vehicle. I am available most of the day since my kid is in school. I am even available on most weekends and even week day evenings (after school) if needed! My main goal is to make sure that your pet(s) feel loved and cared for while you are gone! I will make sure they have the best time, feel safe, and comfortable while you are away. This includes making sure any mess that was made during your leave will be taken care of as well!

Aliyah did a nice job with walking my dog! I liked that she took and sent pictures of my dog while they went along their walk. She treated my dog nicely, followed my instructions, and returned him the same way that she received him. I’m appreciative!

About: I get along with animals pretty naturally. I do a lot of sitting for family and friends when they go on vacation. Giving love and care to your fur baby takes a lot of time and the DMV has a lot of traffic. It takes a village! I can pop in or stay over to make sure all physical and emotional needs are taken care of. I am a fitness instructor. My schedule changes and is flexible as long as I am given notice and clear instructions. I do not work full time. I do not have a fenced in yard, but can keep a crate. It is a townhouse so limited space, but plenty of parks and areas to walk your fur baby.

About: I have years of professional, hands-on experience caring for dogs in a busy pet resort environment. I worked my way from a kennel attendant/receptionist into management, eventually helping oversee the care and daily operations of two pet resort locations. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, temperaments, and energy levels, including puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, energetic dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience and individualized attention. My experience includes: • Feeding and following individual meal routines • Administering medications and following special care instructions • Dog walking and supervised play • Monitoring behavior and overall wellness • Managing multiple dogs safely • Puppy and senior care • Providing enrichment and one-on-one attention • Recognizing changes in behavior or signs that something may be wrong • Maintaining clean, safe, comfortable environments I also have professional grooming experience, including: 🛁 Baths and blow-drying ✨ Deshedding treatments ✂️ Nail trims 👂 Ear cleaning 🦷 Teeth cleaning 🫐 Blueberry facials Because of my professional background, I understand that pet care is about much more than simply feeding a dog and letting them outside. Every pet has different needs, routines, and personalities, and I take those differences seriously. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. You will notice availability is blacked out through the new year; availability will update on a regular basis as my full time work schedule comes out. My pet resort schedule will determine all of my all availability. I do not care for pets in my home, so I would come to your home for pre-scheduled walks. Before booking a walking schedule we can discuss logistics.

About: I’ve had experience in pet sitting for minimum 10 years. Attention to detail and care for pets needs come first. Restrictions if any are considered as well. Morning, mid day, and evening walks are a must. As well as feeding, as frequent or less as needed. Pets will remain hydrated and have ample play time and relaxation time throughout the day. I offer a fenced yard with a seperate play area inside of home dedicated to pets. There will be ample space inside, or outside of home for pets to flourish and plenty of dog parks available if preferred.

About: I provide structured, dependable care with strong attention to safety. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, so I treat every pet like they’re my own with patience, consistency, and close supervision. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m fully available on Saturdays and Sundays for boarding, walks, and drop-ins, so your pet will get plenty of attention and engagement on the weekends. On Mondays, I work from 6am–3pm, which allows me to provide morning care before work and dedicated afternoon and evening care once I’m home. I prioritize consistent feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, and quality time so pets feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. Your pet will always be supervised, safe, and part of a structured routine. When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I keep a clean, safe, and structured environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s routine closely including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, both as a pet owner and professionally. I have hands-on experience working with dogs of all different personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. My professional experience includes dog training and bathing/grooming, and I am also accredited through PetSmart while currently working toward becoming a certified groomer. This ongoing training continues to strengthen my understanding of canine behavior, body language, handling techniques, and how to keep dogs comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Whether your dog needs a walk, some extra exercise and attention, or another type of care, I’m happy to tailor my approach to their individual personality and routine. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. My goal is for every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while giving their owners peace of mind. I currently work part-time as a professional dog bather, typically 15–20 hours per week, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide pet care around my work schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and other services throughout the week, and I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s routine. Because my work is already centered around caring for dogs, I’m comfortable working with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll care for your dogs and cats in the comfort of their own home, keeping their routines as consistent as possible and treating your space with the same respect I would my own. For walks, I’ll stay in familiar local areas and use safe, vetted trails that are appropriate for your dog’s needs and energy level. I have professional experience handling and caring for dogs, including bathing and training, so I’m comfortable paying attention to body language, behavior, and potential safety concerns. I’ll always follow your instructions, communicate with you throughout the stay, and make sure your pet receives attentive, dependable care while you’re away.

Dogs are the light of my life. I will keep your dog protected from all danger because I know how it feels to lose your best friend. I am a reliable, fun and careful sitter. Hope to hear from you soon! I am available for dog walks during the weekdays from 6am-3pm. I am also available on weekend’s from 6am-5pm. Please message me for other inquiries. About: I have been around dogs since I was born. Personally, my family adopted my first puppy when I was 10. I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors, family and friends since I was around 13. Now grown with my own pup, I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby while you aren’t able. I would love to be trusted to care for your babies when you aren’t available. I currently work from home Monday and Friday, so your pet would get just as much attention as mine. We are home most weekends, where your pup will get 2 walks and play time. I have a fenced yard and one playful, yet shy at first pup. Once she warms up, it’s constant playtime and an endless amount of toys and treats to share. When we leave the house, our dog is left uncrated but we have a crate if needed.

About: I have a 12 year old yorkie/havenese named daisy. She has been in our care since she was 1 y/o so i'm aware of dog care in all stages from puppy to senior dogs. Growing up my family/friends have always chosen me to be responsible and care for their animals so i thought why not spread the love? Ramon has also been in care of plenty of his family dogs growing up as well! There was always no less than 4 dogs in the house at a time. We love dogs so much and there will be an abundance of love to go around with my family. We can't wait to play with our new furry friends. My boyfriend and i have plenty of time through out the week together to care for your beloved pets! I have a full time job so i help where i can but my boyfriend is currently in school and has plenty of time in between classes to care for your furry friends! In our house, my partner ramon and i try to create a warm, inviting, and loving atmosphere. With my senior yorkie mix along with my 2 young cats we have everything your furry friend may want or need: toy galore, bottomless treats, long walks, and all the affection in the world. From long boarding/ house sitting to as small as a walk we aim to provide care to your furry loved ones just as they were one of ours! <3

Quiana has been phenomenal with my Coco. I needed a walker twice per week now that I’m back in the office full time and she has been amazing. We did an initial meet and greet as my dog is a pandemic dog and adjusting to a new routine and is not very open to new people. Quiana has been incredibly patient and her care and love for dogs shines through. Thank you so much!

Tieler developed such a special bond with my senior fur baby that he insists on sharing his new toys with her and is genuinely excited when she arrives. THANK YOU Tieler for being so OUTSTANDING!

  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
