I work from home full-time and can provide attention to your pet that a facility will not. My schedule is very flexible, so I can dedicate time to monitoring and caring for your pet. My max visit length is 10 days. I have over a 3/4 acre fenced-in yard and the time to dedicate to your pet to keep them comfortable while you're gone. About: I have a 7 year old pitbull and I have had her since she was a baby. She suffers from anxiety so I’m experienced in staying calm and collected. She’s also strong so I’m used to walking a dog with a lot of strength and I’ve trained her since she was a puppy so I understand that all dogs are different and need love in different forms so it’s all about adapting to each dog’s needs for me. My dog also hates to be separated so if you have a dog with separation anxiety I completely understand the importance of staying near the dogs and keeping them comfortable. In case you're curious, I'm currently studying neuroscience and would love to get into animal welfare advocacy! It was no shock that my first jobs were on-call dog sitting and working for a local kennel. My favorite clients were two maltipoos, a golden doodle, and then four German shepherds. I was a member of the Creative Critters/Dog Club with 4-H and learned about dog behavior, body language, and stimulation needs by breed. I do my best to ensure the comfort of every dog I meet. About: I have been taking care of my friends and families’ pets since I got to VA in 2019 and if I love doing it for free, don’t you worry that I will not love or care about your fur babies. I have had my own baby back in AZ and he passed away right after I got to VA. So it took a toll on me and I decided that every baby deserves to be taken care of and so much loves. I am an active duty military member so I work all weekdays but I get off from work early on some days and I get to know my schedule at least a week out so I can be flexible. Plus I can update my weekly calendar based on that so no one has to be confused about my weekly schedule. I like to keep an eye on every pet that either I have to take care of outside of my house or inside of my house. They will have their privacy but yet I want to make sure they are not anxious or scared about anything and I want to be there whenever they need me for something. I currently have no pet or children in the house and I keep my house very clean and safe.
