About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. I’m available any day and any time of the week. I’m usually available last minute as well and around holidays if needed. I currently have 4 dogs; 3 Yorkies and 1 Boarder Collie mix. Would love to add to our home for a few days by sitting for your loved ones. Your babies will be cared for and loved regularly. My dog sleeps in my bed. Your dog can do the same Or I have big crate for them. I have a big fenced yard for plenty of exercise and we also go on walks. I feed twice a day but can adjust for your schedule. Sara Mae's DaDa died just this past April and she had to move from a nice home in Charlottesville with a big porch and yard, to live with me in a DC apartment. She is a fairly anxious dog to begin with, and as you can imagine under tremendous stress and depression the past few months, getting sick a lot and not eating, especially when I had to return to work. She went from nearly 65lbs at her healthy weight, to 45lbs in two months. Since staying with Jessica and Nick during the day during the work week, she has started to calm down, is now eating again, and putting weight back on that she had lost due to depression and stress. Jessica and Nick are quite literally life savers, and I cannot thank them enough for easing my mind about Sara Mae and being a huge part of the process of helping her get to a new, healthy, normal while I have to be at work. “Emanuel was great and my dog, Ruben, had a great time at his house playing with other dogs. Ruben has clear markers for anxiety, so when we picked him up we were on the look out to see if he'd been stressed. Ruben was happy to see us, but also clearly very happy and comfortable with Emanuel. Back at home Ruben is happy and is not showing any of his anxiety markers, indicating to me that he felt safe and comfortable while we were away. He also came back freshly bathed and his bed had been cleaned too.”
