“This is the first time we have used Rover. Amanda was fabulous! She was flexible and very professional. The pups loved her visits. She kept us informed and sent some super cute photos. I highly recommend Amanda.”

“Adelina stepped in very last minute when we had to leave quickly for a family emergency. She kept our little guy company the daily pictures were our favorite part. He loved her and so do we! We will definitely be requesting her again in the future!”

About: I have grown up with many pets and have always loved animals. I train my own pets and have worked with a variety of animals. I have the energy to match those pets they needs to play and get out! I currently work odd hours so I can get pets out mid day or in the evening or help provide late night care! I have long breaks in the middle of the day to stop by and provide care. I will follow all rules and guidelines given by the client when caring for a pet in their home. I will treat your home and pets as if they were my own and always make sure to leave things tidy.
About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.
“We had an excellent experience with Tyler and Lauren. They were trustworthy, always on time, and communicated clearly throughout our trip. Our vacation was less stressful knowing Toby and Skye were well cared for, and they were flexible and able to make adjustments on the fly when things came up. We would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them.”

About: I’ve helped care for a wide range of animals some being as young as a week old to being over 14 years old. I have loved caring for hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and the average house cat and dog. I have some free time with college classes being over for the summer and my student worker position that doesn’t require much of my time. So I would love to fill that time doing something I would love. At home I have a friendly and energetic blue heeler that loves to play ball and a senior orange tabby cat that is sweet but on his own time. I love caring and playing with them and any of my family and friends animals.

About: Every time I see an animal, I HAVE to stop and give it some lovins! 🐾❤️ I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and at one point while living with my parents (which was a VERY long time ago! 😂), we had four cats and a dog running the house. Animals have always been part of my family. As a teenager, I would care for my neighbors' fur babies while they were away, including administering medications when needed. I've been around all kinds of personalities and breeds—from German Shepherds to Pit Bulls—and to me, they're all just big babies looking for love and reassurance. I truly believe animals are some of the world's best stress relievers, therapists, and snuggle buddies. Honestly, I joke that I love animals more than people sometimes! LOL When you're away, I know you're trusting someone with a member of your family, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and the care they deserve. I'll also keep you updated, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. 💝 I know I'm not just taking care of a pet—I'm taking care of someone's whole heart. 🐾❤️ I currently work from home as a travel agent on my own time schedule, so to stop what I am doing and take care of your baby is not a problem! I work for myself! Your fur baby would be a top priority. I get up at 5am daily, so if you are someone that needs to leave earlier in the day, that surely won't be a problem! I understand that leaving your baby(ies) with someone else takes trust. That's why I treat every animal as if they were my own. I provide dependable in-home care tailored to your pet's needs, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, litter box maintenance, medication administration, playtime, and plenty of cuddles! Every pet is different, and I love getting to know their unique personalities! Whether your baby wants a long walk, a game of fetch, a quiet lap to curl up in, or just someone to sit nearby, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and stick to their normal routine. My goal isn't just to "check in" on your pet—it's to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for until you're back home. ❤️🐾 ✅ Photo updates every visit. ✅ Comfortable with shy or anxious babies. ✅ Willing to clean up occasional messes. ✅ Can bring in mail, water plants, and adjust lights while you're away. ✅ Respectful of your home and your pet's routine
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience and calm, reliable approach to pet care. I have 7 years of experience caring for dogs and cats from multiple families, including puppies, seniors, and pets with different routines and personalities. I’m comfortable providing patient care for older pets as well as consistent structure for younger ones. In addition, I’ve worked as a professional dog bather at PetSmart for 6 months, where I regularly handle dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. This role has strengthened my skills in safe handling, reading dog body language, and keeping pets calm and comfortable in new situations. I treat every pet as an individual and aim to provide dependable, attentive care so both pets and owners feel confident and at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work part-time as a bather at PetSmart, typically working 9–5 or occasionally until 6, with 2–3 days off each week. This allows me to offer flexible and reliable pet care around my work schedule. While my hours can sometimes vary, I prioritize clear and consistent communication and will always be upfront about my availability. I carefully plan my commitments to ensure each pet receives attentive, dependable care and plenty of time and consideration. I’m unable to provide care in my own home, as I have an older cat and an older dog who do best without new animals in their space. However, I’m happy to provide care in your home whenever possible, where pets are often most comfortable and relaxed. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and any special instructions. I’m also able to take dogs on regular walks and provide attentive, calm care to ensure your pet feels safe and well cared for while you’re away.
“Our dog Snoopy absolutely loves Sheryl, and she dotes on him during her visits. Because I have a long commute, our dog is alone for several hours a day, but we know Sheryl’s visits are the highlight of his day and he gets much needed love and attention, not just potty breaks. Snoop has anxiety issues, but he’s so happy to see Sheryl that he sits on her, just like he sits on us. Sheryl is an absolute delight, so reliable, and so good with Snoop - I wish I could give her 10 stars!”

About: I have owned three hunting Labradors in my life and love caring for dogs. My dogs have been full of energy so I am used to taking long walks with them. I am around for most hours of the day and can give your dogs the one on one attention and frequent potty breaks. i enjoy caring for dogs of all sizes and age groups! I have been dog sitting for neighbors and close friends for many years now. While I enjoy getting paid for what I do, dog sitting feels more like a hobby than anything else. Spending my time with lots of dogs will hardly feel like a job at all. I am looking forward to meeting all of your dogs and providing them with amazing care!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
