About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for neighbors, family, and others for a while and have had dogs my whole life. I absolutely love them! I’m currently a student at WSU and I have a pretty tight schedule Monday-Thursday but I would absolutely be willing to work around what I can. I am free most weekend. I am very clean and tidy and will make sure not to leave a mess anywhere! I can crate your dog if necessary and should have little to no issues!

This was our first time using a sitter since getting the dog from the Humane Society a year ago, and the dog took us by surprise with stranger anxiety - not wanting to be touched or approached and urine accidents. I take the blame - In hindsight I should have arranged trial stay(s) many months in advance of our weeklong trip, not just a meet and greet a week in advance. Mandy handled it well. She persevered despite the accidents and communicated candidly with me about how the dog was reacting and problem-solved with me. She figured out how to let the dog out without approaching it, and kept both the dog and cat fed and watered, though walks were not possible. She even came to let the dog out over lunch on weekdays, which was above and beyond our original agreement.
