In addition, I’ve worked as a professional dog bather at PetSmart for 6 months, where I regularly handle dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. This role has strengthened my skills in safe handling, reading dog body language, and keeping pets calm and comfortable in new situations. I’m unable to provide care in my own home, as I have an older cat and an older dog who do best without new animals in their space. However, I’m happy to provide care in your home whenever possible, where pets are often most comfortable and relaxed. In a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks, playtime, companionship, and any special instructions. I’m also able to take dogs on regular walks and provide attentive, calm care to ensure your pet feels safe and well cared for while you’re away.

Vanessa was brave and patient. One of the German Shepards doesn’t warm up easily but she persevered with him and they became best buds! She was very attentive to the cat with chronic sinus issues also. She also had to troubleshoot some internet issues with us from a distance after a storm! Job well done 👍 I hope she can help us in the future again!
Vanessa is fantastic! Kept up with me consistently while I was gone on my dog. She did boarding in house, and left the house in perfect condition and followed all instructions! Would highly recommend ☺️

I was nervous about using this app to find a caregiver for my cat, Diamond. After finding Vanessa and recruiting her to watch my cat for me, it definitely calmed my nerves a lot. When I met Vanessa she was really sweet and I easily warmed up to her. I watched her interactions with Diamond and she was very gentle with her. Diamond is a sweetheart when meeting the right people and she warmed up to Vanessa very quickly! I was surprised how well she took care of my cat, not a lot of people understand their body language. If you're looking for someone to watch your animals, Vanessa is definitely one of the best!
Vanessa is a very reliable and attentive caregiver. My dog, Daisy, has high needs as she is very anxious. Vanessa takes extra care to be paitent and understanding with her needs. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work part-time as a bather at PetSmart, typically working 9–5 or occasionally until 6, with 2–3 days off each week. This allows me to offer flexible and reliable pet care around my work schedule. While my hours can sometimes vary, I prioritize clear and consistent communication and will always be upfront about my availability. I carefully plan my commitments to ensure each pet receives attentive, dependable care and plenty of time and consideration.
