“Helena & Nathan watched my boy, Jackson, while I attended my nephew's high school graduation ceremony. Originally scheduled for the evening, stormy weather precipitated a change in time and location and the ceremony was rescheduled for much earlier in the day. Luckily, Helena & Nathan were incredibly flexible in allowing me to drop off Jackson much earlier than I expected. Jackson absolutely loved their fenced backyard - and Helena & Nathan captured multiple photos and even a little video of Jackson enjoying the outdoors. He really seemed to enjoy his time with them both. I will look forward to working with them again!”

“Our puppy, Jack, really enjoyed his time with Bridgette and Luna. Bridgette took amazing care of him and even helped with some of the basic puppy training while he was there. I received frequent updates and photos/videos of his stay. I have already rebooked with Bridgette.”

About: Hello! I have been the caretaker of my family’s 15 year old Boston terrier/Jack Russel terrier until moving to Virginia about a month ago. I also used to see my fiancé’s mom’s 3 cats on a near daily basis. Since moving up here, I have been really missing spending time with a furry friend! Looking forward to having more time surrounded by the cutest companions! I currently work remote for an AI Tech start up (yes buzzword city!). I have the luxury of lots of free time throughout the day perfect for a good dog walk or check-in! I often have my weekly schedule in stone about a week in advance. I live in an apartment with a dog walk path and with 0.2 miles of the W&OD trail! Our complex also has a dog washing station and lots of treats. I am happy to spend the day with your pooch at my apartment or potentially take calls from your home if you need a day sitter.

Incorporating pet care into my daily and weekly routine is a priority for me, as it requires consistency and attention to detail to ensure the well-being of the pets under my care. Here’s how I typically integrate pet care into my schedule: Daily Routine Morning Routine: I start my day by feeding the pets and providing fresh water. This is followed by morning exercise or playtime, tailored to the pet's needs and energy levels. Midday Check-ins: If needed, especially for puppies or senior pets, I schedule midday visits to provide bathroom breaks, meals, medication if required, and some companionship or playtime. Afternoon Activities: In the afternoon, I engage the pets in activities that stimulate them mentally and physically, such as training sessions, interactive play, or walks. Evening Routine: I ensure pets have their evening meal on time and another round of exercise or play to wind down their day. For senior pets, this may include gentle activities to keep them comfortable and relaxed. Bedtime Routine: Before bedtime, I make sure pets are settled, comfortable, and have everything they need for a good night's rest. Caring for pets in my home involves creating a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs. Here’s how I ensure a high standard of care: 1. Safety and Comfort 2. Daily Routine 3. Socialization and Interaction 4. Health and Hygiene 5. Communication with Owners 6. Emergency Preparedness

About: Coming soon my 3 furry Colombians 🐕🦺❤️🐾... Meanwhile, your faithful friend is in my hands! I am a dog lover with a heart divided between two countries: while I hope I can bring my three furry children from Colombia (a Pitbull full of energy and two loving Cockers), I want to take care of yours as if it were mine. - 🐾 **I know what 'misunderstood' races need**: Pitbulls deserve respect and patience, not stereotypes. The Cockers, attention and delicacy. - 🦴 **I adapt the care to his character**: Not all dogs are the same, and I learned that with mine! - ❤️ **I miss my dogs, but that makes me give more love to yours**." * When I take care of your dog, I don't just follow instructions: ✅ **Real experience** with strong and sensitive breeds. ✅ **Safe rides** for Pitbulls (or soft games for elderly Cockers). ✅ **Updated in signs of canine stress** (the Cockers are masters in that!). ✅ **Flexible and communicative**: I will send you photos and updates, because I know what it's like to be away from your pet." * Is your furry shy, hyperactive or a little study? I understand your language perfectly! For now, my three dogs are far away, but that only means that I will have more space in my heart (and in my agenda) to pampers yours I adapt my routine to give your pet the rhythm it needs: intense walks for the strong like my Pitbull, naps and pampering for the delicate like my Cockers, and always with updates that show you their day as if you were here!" ** My day is moulded to your dog: controlled energy for strong, patience for sensitive, and photos that steal a smile from you." * I offer personalised and 100% safe care in MY HOME, where your pet will receive:** 🏡 **An adapted space**: Separate areas for active dogs (like my Pitbull) and quiet areas for the most sensitive (like my Cockers). 🐕 **Experience with 'difficult' breeds**: I know how to manage strong energy and anxiety with patience and proven techniques. - 📲 **Total transparency**: I send photos, videos and daily reports so you can see how happy your furry is. - ❤️ **Seasonal love**: While I wait for my 3 dogs (who are in Colombia), your pet will be my absolute priority." **Why in my house? ** "I prefer to care in a controlled environment, where everything is prepared for safety and comfort, no surprises!" _.

“Prisila was truly awesome. She was communicative and very attentive to our dogs. One is 14+ years old and the other is 5+ months old. We were up in the area for our son’s graduation from The Basic School at Quantico. Prisila took excellent care of our dogs, shared their activities and pictures with us, all while juggling their different needs and schedules. We were able to fully enjoy our son’s graduation because we knew the dogs were happy with Prisila and they were being well-cared for. We would absolutely take our dogs back to Prisila. Thank you, Prisila. ⭐️”

About: Hi! My name is Justine, I recently left my 10+ year career as a nurse to start my own business and I’m hoping to do Rover on the side as well (: I grew up around animals: ducks, chickens, parakeets, budgies, hamsters, fish and as soon as I could, I adopted rescue animals of my own (: I have 4 amazing kitties and I had one wonderful dog who sadly passed away 2 years ago from cancer. I dog sit my friends dogs all the time when they’re away. And I’ve also fostered many shelter dogs and cats, mostly those who recently had major surgery. I work from home, running my own business, so I’m available basically any day (: there are a few weekends I’m out of state visiting family but it’s not very often. I have a fenced in yard for dogs and the neighborhood is very safe for walks. And I’m happy to meet whatever needs your pets may have (:
