About: Hi! I’m Victoria, a local Sanford dog sitter and proud dog mom to Leo, my toy schnauzer. I provide a safe, loving home environment where dogs are treated like family—not just pets. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. I work remotely, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. Whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor breaks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized attention. I intentionally keep my boarding numbers low to create a calm, low-stress environment where every dog receives the care they deserve. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a walk and immediately after can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.

Ive had pets with different needs and cared for them all as if they were apart of my family.
“I would give 100 stars if I could! Miranda and Curtis were AMAZING in dealing with Tanner, my energetic pup! They did such a good job helping him work through his anxiety and anxiousness and he came home happy, tired, and well loved! Will definitely be using them again in the future! Truly a wonderful experience!”

“So glad I found Douglania! Just moved here and needed a new daycare for my dog and she has made my dog so happy and comfortable! And has eased my mind while I’m at work. She is now my weekly go to!”

“Sarah was absolutely amazing with Mia! She is highly communicative, kept me updated throughout the day, and sent lots of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Mia had an incredible day and came home happy and tired—which, as every dog owner knows, means she had a great time! Sarah also went above and beyond by accepting not one, but TWO last-minute bookings for me, which I truly appreciated. It’s clear that Sarah genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and Mia was so comfortable and happy with her. We’re both very happy customers, and Mia is already excited to go back tomorrow! 🐾🐾🐾 Thank you, Sarah! We highly recommend you to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional Rover sitter.”
“Lilliana is great. She is knowledgeable and patient. Our dog is very energetic. She's given us some good training tips, also. We're visiting from out of town and we've used her three times. She sends pictures and texts throughout his visit to keep us up on what he's up to.”

“Alexa did a fantastic job caring for my dog. She sent beautiful photos; I could see he was relaxed and happy at her home. She was accommodating of my schedule and very helpful with drop off and pickup. I highly recommend her and hope to use her services again in the future.”

“There are not enough words I can say about Bruce! He helped us out last minute and our dog Akiiro had the best time ever! He sent us pictures and it was so sweet to see our baby playing and living his best life. We live 2 hours away but frequent Orlando and I can say Bruce will be our go to person for doggie day care! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

“So happy we found her! She took the best care of our pup! She has the perfect set up and put us at ease keeping in touch the whole time with pictures and updates. We are happy we found someone to care for her like family, such a great feeling knowing now if we have to leave town we will be able to enjoy ourselves knowing she is safe and cared for.”

About: I had a fur baby for 16 years, trained since puppy and provided dedicated care during his senior years. Travel and time away always caused stress as who else can care for your fur baby as you can? Hoping to alleviate some of that stress and worry. I will take on a max of 2 fur babies at a time and ensure they each feel fully accompanied and provide them the care they need. I am a fully remote employee who works predominantly a 9 to 5, I can take fairly frequent break depending on the individual dog needs and have a cozy neighborhood to walk pets. I typically stay away from dog parks as there are too many unknown variables and will only walk pets when they are leashed. After work I can comfortable hang hang with the fur baby as I make dinner or hang out on the couch to watch TV. House is fully enclosed and the pet will only go out with me on a leash, they are welcome on the furniture and if they aren't too big they can certainly go on the bed with me. If your pet is to be out in a crate, please bring one as I do not have one.
“Jennifer was great with my dogs! She was super flexible when I needed to change from a drop in to a day care visit due in an emergency home repair and kept me updated on how they were doing. I picked up happy and tired dogs at the end of the day!”

About: Caring for pets has always been a part of my life! I’ve grown up with dogs at home and have looked after them with love and responsibility. Friends and family have trusted me many times to care for their pets while they’re away, whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply spending quality time playing and keeping them company. I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently not working a traditional job, which allows me to have the time and flexibility to care for pets with love and attention. I’m looking for a job that brings me joy and purpose, while still giving me the freedom to be there for my family. When I care for pets in their own home, I always aim to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any special needs they may have. I make sure they feel safe, loved, and never alone. I also like to keep pet parents updated with photos and messages, so they can feel at ease knowing their furry friend is in good hands.
About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small pets since I was 10. I’m experienced with walking, feeding, bathing, administering medication, and providing love and attention to animals of all ages—from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets. I’ve also helped with basic training and understand the unique needs of different breeds. Family, friends, and neighbors trust me to care for their pets as if they were my own. About: Along with dogs and cats I also have experience with exotic and farm animals! I love the outdoors and I have a lot of patience. I’m currently working part time, its technician work so getting to have the other half of my work hours come from something peaceful, like working with animals, would be a blessing. I appreciate, follow and respect the rules. I have my own pet and I would watch you pets with the same level attention and care.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
