12. Barbara D.
About: While I grew up with beagles and then German Shepherds, I adopted my first cat when I was 25. Since then, I have loved more than 30 cats, usually have more than one at a time. I have taken care of dogs of my family and friends since I was a teenage babysitter. I'm a Reiki Master Teacher and I can offer Reiki for pets which may explain while pets tend to sit on my feet when I am with them Even though I'm a retired reading specialist, I occasionally work as a substitute. I will rearrange my daily schedule to take the best care of your pet(s). I have a dog crate and smaller carriers to use in my car should I need to transport your pet to go for a walk in a nearby park or a trip to your vet. I will approach your pet gently when entering your home. I will play with them, provide their meals and fresh water, take them for walks with baggies and/or clean litter boxes daily. I will follow your routine to help your pets feel secure in your absence.

13. Tabitha W.

14. Ronnie N.
About: I Work nights! I am off Thursday and Friday nights. I've rasied my 80lb. Female dog from when she was 4 weeks old to about 6 years. I'm very active and love to take my dog out for runs. Very disciplined and have taught my big girl to behave politely in NYC. I've taken care of huskies and smaller dogs like chihuahuas and poodles for neighbors as well! I work overnights and just moved to an Tamnersville. I would love to walk or just spend time with a dog. My dog is home on staten island with family and I miss spending time with dogs so much! Hygiene and cleanliness at home are priority. A lot of canine care is knowing what each dogs' wants and needs are. Each dog will communicate to you what they want and need. Communication with the owner is key along with ensuring the dog is well fed and stimulated!

15. Randi W.

“Randi was awesome while caring for our two cats while we were away. She sent updates with pictures each day so we would know our cats were doing well. She was engaging to the cats and did all we could have asked for. She was great with communication leading up to the trip, coming over to go over the details of the care she would provide. It made our trip so great knowing we had someone of her quality watching out for our furry family members at home while we were away.”

16. Ursula O.

20. Christina R.
About: Currently grieving the passing of my sweet cat Addie. I’ve taken care of cats my whole life and walked dogs professionally in NYC during college. I love befriending animals of all kinds and providing them with care and the services they need. I’m great at reading the vibes each animal gives off and meeting them where they’re at to create a safe and nurturing environment. I’m a screenwriter with a flexible schedule who loves to spend time with animals as a side gig. Because of my flexibility, I’m available for one-off visits and ongoing sitting. As a bit of a helicopter cat mom myself, I know how important it is to pay close attention to an animal’s routine and specific needs. I read and follow rules and requests carefully. I know how vulnerable it is to allow a stranger into your home and to care for someone you hold dear. I take the responsibility seriously.
