About: Hello! I’m a professional writer who works from home and often watches my neighbors’ dogs just because I think it’s fun. I joined Rover to help others who might need last-minute dog sitting. My own golden retriever Emmett chills with me all day and we go for walks around the block at lunchtime and we’d love for your friend to join us! I host one dog at a time (in addition to Emmett). I’ve been around dogs and pets of all kinds my whole life and am happy to just spend some quality time feeding, patting, walking or running with a good pooch. I’m super comfortable with all breeds, just maybe not strong enough to handle anyone over 100 pounds unless they’re super well trained. I’ve seen Emmett and my previous dogs, Henry and Teddy, through all kinds of ear infections, hot spots, and geriatric arthritis treatments and am really good at finding ticks! My brother has Emmett’s brother, Gary, so you’ll see the two of them in a few pics together. I’m a remote freelance writer so my schedule is very flexible. I walk Emmett every day at least three times a day so it’s really easy to add an additional dog to the mix. I’m home all day so we all hang. Our yard is unfortunately not fenced but because I spend a lot of time at my computer I balance that with a lot of midday dog walks. When your pet stays here it’s very chill; as long as your dog gets along with Emmett they’ll have full range of the house and can snooze wherever and then we’ll go walk about around the block a few times, which nets out to be about a mile.

About: I Work nights! I am off Thursday and Friday nights. I've rasied my 80lb. Female dog from when she was 4 weeks old to about 6 years. I'm very active and love to take my dog out for runs. Very disciplined and have taught my big girl to behave politely in NYC. I've taken care of huskies and smaller dogs like chihuahuas and poodles for neighbors as well! I work overnights and just moved to an Tamnersville. I would love to walk or just spend time with a dog. My dog is home on staten island with family and I miss spending time with dogs so much! Hygiene and cleanliness at home are priority. A lot of canine care is knowing what each dogs' wants and needs are. Each dog will communicate to you what they want and need. Communication with the owner is key along with ensuring the dog is well fed and stimulated!

About: Hi! We’re Travis and Meredith, both absolute dog lovers (particularly big dogs) with a 12 year old mid-sized pup ourselves. We are active and would love to get your dog exercise and nature time! We have been pet sitting for 6 years and have lots of experience with large energetic dogs! Meredith is also available for dog walking! Our dog Sammy is a neutered 12 year old male. He is sweet as can be and either a total couch potato or pulling on a hike, no in-between. He gets along with every dog he’s met and we are very experienced at managing him with other dogs! Both of us work from home and we have a beautiful fenced yard that your pup will get plenty of access to. We are able to accommodate most every type of activity level. We can accommodate neighborhood walks, playing fetch, hiking long or short in preserves - just let us know what your pupper needs! Our home has a small fenced yard, and a large gravel run that we can play fetch in! Our home is counter safe and we keep the house clean and free from anything dogs can get into.

I raised my pup, Grumble, from 3 weeks old until she left this world at 11 years old. I'm fully available in the winter as my regular job (gardening) is seasonal and won't be picking up again until later in the spring time. I am very loving and reliable and it would be my pleasure to take care of your cat or dog while you’re out of town. I love hiking and being outside so if your dog loves long walks don’t look any further! I’ll make sure your fur babies are pampered and well taken care of as they await your return! I’m a musician playing in an orchestra so I usually have 1 3-hour rehearsal per day and am otherwise at home practicing. I would be able to come over 2 times a day at least and can also stay over night if that is something that you would prefer. I would take care of your pet in your home. I’m very clean and reliable and would leave your house/apartment as clean as you left it. I will follow your instructions very carefully and make sure your pet feels safe with me.

About: Never have I been without a pet. Life is nothing without the love and companionship of a pet. I am a lover of all animals, but dogs hold my heart. I do work full time at a veterinary office as a care coordinator. I am looking to offer weekend care, and may, possibly expand hours/days in the future. I live on a 1.5 acre. I have a small, fenced in yard 10 x 30. Am able to leash walk on the property, and live on a back road which is perfect for leash walking.
