“Charlotte came in clutch when I booked a couple of days before my trip. She was friendly and trustworthy. I only have cats and they don’t need any care other than attention, since their food and litter are automatic. It’s possible that this led Charlotte to think I didn’t want updates about the cats. Day 1 of 2 I reached out to check in and I heard from Charlotte that Meatloaf did not respond well to her the first visit—hissed but did not become aggressive—but that he warmed up to her on visit 2. Definitely will set up introductory visits each time which I have learned will avoid this issue. Charlotte stopped responding after the first day, so I have no way of knowing how the second day of visits went. I was pretty worried about whether Meatloaf was mean to her or if the cats were being checked on. I’m not even sure if she saw my shy second cat at all—just any more communication would have been good. I don’t want to tank any ratings if my cats were a problem but I have no idea what happened.”

About: I’ve always had family dogs growing up which was an excellent learning space for dog’s body language, basic training and grooming needs. Currently I have a senior dog so I’m familiar with complex medical/feeding routines. Additionally, my family member has a severe disability which requires a service dog so I’m aware of the different needs of on-duty compared to off-duty service dogs. Aside from caring for my own fur babies, a cat (4 years old) and a dog (13 years old), I have open availability for your fur babies! I keep a close eye on my animals’ behavior which allows for treating most issues with home care before a vet visit is needed with a larger problem, for example regular ear cleaning.

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of loving and caring for pets through every stage of life—from the playful energy of puppies to the tender needs of seniors. I’m generally available for pet care between 8:15 AM and 1:15 PM, Monday through Friday, while my child is in school. I may also be available occasionally during school breaks (track-outs), depending on the week. I am happy to provide weekly care, however my availability may be different during my child's track out schedule. In Your Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely and take time to get to know each pet’s personality and preferences. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. In My Home: I offer a calm, pet-friendly environment with a fully fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and fresh air. Pets in my home will be part of our daily rhythm, receiving plenty of love, supervision, and playtime—including access to a variety of dog toys. Since I do have a young child, I kindly ask that pets staying in my home are comfortable around children and do not have a history of chewing or damaging household items. With your permission and if your pet enjoys riding in the car, they may occasionally join me for a short carpool ride to pick up my child depending on the time. I’ll treat your pet like one of my own while keeping both their needs and my home environment safe and happy for everyone. We currently do not have any pets in our home.

About: I have been caring for animals since I was about 15 years old, among other animals for drop in care. But my passion is for dogs! My husband is a fellow animal lover and our one year old son is always happy to be around any kind of animal. We have two dogs who are dog friendly, they are still relatively young so they love to run and play but we have a fenced in backyard that is perfect for doing so! My husband and I both work full time 9am-5pm Monday-Friday but we are off all weekends as well as federal holidays so we are always available for your long weekend vacations! Our availability will run Friday through Monday because we are busy with work through the weekdays. We have a nice sized fenced in yard with a covered patio for escape from the sun but our babies love indoors! We have crate trained our dogs for when we are not home but we totally understand if you do not wish to crate your fur baby, we can keep them in a separate room with whatever comforts from home you wish to leave with them. We go on frequent walks as a family and love to sit in the yard and play fetch! Your fur baby will have a blast with us whether it be running around outdoors or lounging around indoors.

About: Due to over 5 years of dog sitting experience, I’ve developed a strong understanding of routine care, attentive care, and providing a safe environment for a pet. I want to ensure not only you feel comfortable letting me take care of your furry animal but for them to feel secure as well. My availability is very flexible for the most part. During weekdays, I can do Tuesday-Friday anytime between 8:30 AM-5 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays I’m available 7 AM-3PM. I make sure to only stay in areas I’m allowed to roam in. If it’s my first time meeting a pet, I’m patient with them when it comes to building trust towards me. Some dogs are more timid than others! I’m very productive on punctuality with feeding times/arrival times and send updates to the owner on their pet.

About: I have been around and owned dogs most of my life. I have owned small dogs (chihuahua, yorkiepoo) as well as bigger dogs (boxers, goldendoodle). I work full time though on the weekends I have plenty of time to feed, potty and play with your babies. Of course they would get spoiled . I have 3 fenced in areas in my back yard. One of the areas has 3 of my dogs. One of the fence areas is connected to the back porch when my Boxer and his pit mix sister potty and play. The other fence area is not being used by any dogs now. I have plenty of room for your pupper and can use a create if you prefer.

About: I have own dogs my whole life. I have one Rottweiler and a Yorkie/Minpinch. My Rottweiler is very friendly. They both love people and other dogs. Both of my dogs are very we’ll behaved. They would love to play with your fur babies. Yes I consider my dogs family, and I would treat you dogs as family also. My husband and I live on 5 acres so your dogs will have lots of room to run and will be watched with love,and well taken care of. You will not be disappointed when you pick them up. I love animals and treat other peoples animals like they're my own. We have a fence in area. It's not attached to our home,but it is well shaded with 3 cement stalls where they can go lay down if they wanted too. I also have long training leash so i can play with them since I don't have a fence yet. I used it with my Rottweiler that passed when I lived in apartment up in Michigan. It works great cause its really long so if I needed to step on it I could to stop them. I Iam looking forward to meeting you and and taking care of your fur babies . I am open 7 days a week.Animals are my passion,snd want to do it full time. I will beable to take them out when ever needed and exercise just like i do with my own. my husband is home all day,so they wouldn't be left alone I have 5 acres we finally have s fence in area so your dog will be safe,and will beable to get plenty of exercise. I also have a long traing leash so I can play with them without putting in the fence in area. I used it for my rottweilers. It works great because it's really long so you can jump on it if they start to take off. Since we have a fence in area now,when they in it ,I will check on them periodically to make sure they are ok. I also will get in the fence wirh them to play with them. I would never leave them out in yhe heat or cold to long. Like i said i treat other animals just like they are my own .

About: I grew up with dogs since I was 12, from a chihuahua mix to a labrador mix. I've had my current dog for five years, a shi-tzu poodle mix. I also have a stray kitten who's less than a year old. I've cared for my neighbors' and friends' dogs when they vacation. They have entrusted me with their dogs to walk, bathe, and feed them. Aftering graduating App State this past May, I stay in Boone and sometimes travel back home. I currently have time more time on my hands than usual. I welcome any pet and will treat them like my own. I live in an apartment and love going to the Greenway trail so I'll be sure to exercise your pet and am willing to care for them in the comfort of their own home.
