About: I've owned several cats and dogs myself, including rescues, seniors, and animals with special needs. I'm outdoorsy and will love taking your dog to the park or on a local hike. My cat has special needs so I'm well-versed in specialized care. I've raised multiple puppies and cared for them through their senior years. If scheduling me for home visits or walks, I'll have my nephew with me until 1pm for kid-friendly dogs, or visits can be scheduled on weekends or after 1pm on weekdays for kid-free needs. My partner is currently home from grad school and can join me when housesitting, so this can potentially allow us to provide care for your pets while I'm nannying as well. She will accompany me to meet and greets so that you can meet both of us if she will be involved in care. For in-home services, I'm happy to sleep in your home if needed, or make as many visits there as requested. I've been caring for animals my entire life, and will treat your fur babies like my own. My partner is also very experienced in pet care, and assists me in caring for pets when there are needs while I'm nannying my nephew. This is something we can discuss in more detail during the meet and greet if your pets are unable to be left alone during the day.
“Can't say enough how lucky we are to have Junny and Jomhel as our puppy patrollers. Everytime the kids are happy to see them and Junny and Jomhel are so kind. If you can get on their schedule, your furbaby will have a good stroll aroudn your neighborhood. Highly Highly Highly recommend”

“Audrey is the best dog walker. She walks my two Aussies using all the right commands and works on good dog behavior. She is a good listener and show great care in my dogs. She loves my dogs and they love her too.”

“Jolynn was a life saver when I injured my ankle and was suddenly unable to walk my very active pup. She was very responsive to my dog’s needs (and mine) and went above and beyond to provide my dog with fun adventures along with the exercise she needed. I will definitely book her again!”

About: I have been trusted to take care of others’ pets for approximately nine years now. I absolutely adore animals and think they deserve the world, so your pet’s wants and needs are my number one priority! If my prices are not in your range, I am happy to negotiate something that is fair for us both. I am a full-time medical assistant who works 3 12 hour shifts each week. On my days off I have plenty of time to walk, bathe, feed, and play with your fur baby. I will go above and beyond to make sure your pets are comfortable while you’re away. I am willing to check in on your pets as many times as you feel necessary, or even stay with them throughout the day. I always say “treat others how you would want to be treated,” so I hold the same expectations to myself that I would have someone who was watching my pet.
About: I've been a dependable care provider for many dogs in the past few years and really love what I do! Dog boarding is one of my main services and your pooch will be very tended to between myself and my roommate! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! 90% of the time while I am at work, my (also experienced dogsitter) boyfriend is home. With enough advanced notice I can be sure your dog is not left alone at all if needed, though if not otherwise specified depending on my schedule they may be alone up to 3 hours at a time. I am great at reading animal behavior and making sure your pet is comfortable. I also make sure to adhere to your guidelines carefully when caring for your pet. I'm experienced with animals who have separation anxiety and issues eating when in a new environment so you can rest assured they are as comfortable as possible!
About: Hi There! My name is Bailey and I am an experienced pet sitter with repeat clients who continue to trust me for ongoing care. I specialize in providing calm, consistent, and attentive care for pets while their owners are away. I have been caring for animals for many years, starting with family and friends’ pets, and have been active on Rover since January 2025. I provide dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, and pet sitting, always focused on keeping pets comfortable and maintaining their normal routine. I have experience with cats, dogs, and a variety of other animals, including reptiles and small farm animals. I’m confident following detailed care instructions and adjusting to each pet’s individual needs and personality. My pet parents receive clear communication and reliability, and I provide regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. If you’re looking for dependable, stress-free care and someone your pets can feel comfortable with, I’d love to help! Pet care fits into my weekly routine and is my primary focus outside of my part-time job. I work as a hostess Friday–Sunday starting at 4pm, which leaves my mornings, weekdays, and earlier afternoons open for pet care. I am available for stop-in visits, feeding, walks, and overnight house sitting, and I do my best to accommodate regular or recurring clients whenever possible. My top priority is always the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet in my care. I treat each home and animal with respect and follow all owner instructions closely to maintain your pet’s normal routine. I provide care in the client’s home, where pets are most comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I am not currently able to offer boarding in my home, but I am fully available for in-home visits, walks, and house sitting. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and home, and I make sure to provide reliable, attentive care along with regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: Animals have always been a part of my life and family. I find a lot of joy in caring for them and appreciate the reciprocal relationship that develops with them over time. No matter what mood I’m in, my interactions with animals often leave me in a positive state of mind. I work full time, Mon-Fri from 8-4:30. Any time outside of this I am happy to work doing sitting or walking, and I’m open to staying overnight. I can be somewhat flexible with your needs. I am looking to supplement my income, but also just really enjoy having animals in my life and can’t have them in my own home. My landlord does not permit animals in the building, so I would have to come where your animals are. I can either walk a dog from your home, stop by for feedings , or house-sit as needed.
About: I love all animals big and small. I've grown up with many animals in my life and anything I can do to help other pet owners,I'm excited and willing. I'm good at following instructions and can provide personalized care for your pets needs :) I’m currently caring for pets full-time, so I have flexible availability to provide attentive, dedicated care whenever your pets need it. They’ll get my full attention, ensuring they feel happy, comfortable, and well looked after. I currently have one dog and one cat so I prefer taking care of your pets in your home, I will follow all instructions left and am willing to send updates as requested, I believe I'm trustworthy and will provide the best care for any animal.

About: I have experience working at a vet office, and worked dogsitting overnights and drop ins throughout my college career. I've had animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and even horses, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs, and have one of my own who is one of the loves of my life! I'm happy to drop in multiple times per day around my work schedule (I work from home 9am-5pm) and I have an hour lunch which I use to visit dogs (or really any other animals) on my lunchtime rounds. If your dog needs help learning to socialize, my dog may be the perfect match, he is very easygoing and always eager to make a new friend. We go to the dog park frequently and he is used to playing with small dogs as well as some bigger breeds. I have experience with animals large and small, and I have a horse so giant breeds are still a breeze. I'd love to meet you and your pets! I have an open schedule for drop in visits and walks, and am available most weekends. Whether you are looking for a daily dog walker or a vacation sitter, I can help. I believe each pet requires an individual approach so that they are comfortable and happy during our visits. I strive to figure out what the pet needs to feel comfortable early on during our meet and greets so that I can keep them healthy and happy while you’re gone.
About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

I am available to check up on or walk pets whenever is needed/wherever is preferred. I have a secluded home in the forest with a large backyard. My family owns chickens (which are enclosed in another area), a small chihuahua mix, and an old cat.

With a free and flexible schedule, I am home and fully present with your dog throughout their stay. - 100% of walkers can help with special care needs

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
