Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a biologist and lover of all animals. I grew up taking care of a number of pets, including many dogs and have been employed as a veterinary technician in the past. I foster dogs on and off from our local shelters. I am knowledgeable and compassionate in the care of pets and look forward to meeting yours!

Rachel has watched my dog Cassie countless times, and she’s always been very sweet and caring for her. Never have to worry while she is in her hands. I know that Rachel has also taken in numerous fosters, so I’m sure she has the experience and ability to care for any dog to come her way!
Rachel took wonderful care of my dog. She was communicative and followed my instructions for him. I was nervous to go out of town and leave my dog with someone but she made the experience a good one. Your dog is in good hands with her, and I will be using her again in the future
Rachel watched my beloved 15 yr old Jack Russell Terrier, Eddie, on many occasions. She has such a calm, comforting demeaner, Eddie bonded with her immediately. If you know the Jack Russels, calm is not their finer points, but Rachel is affectionate and trustworthy, she took extra time to walk him and water my many plants in the house. I also have a cockatiel she cared for as well as many houseplants she kept watered and healthy during my absence. . Any pet owner would be lucky to have Rachel as their caregiver!

Schedule
I am currently working part time and am available weekends and some weekdays for potty breaks, dog walking, or house sitting! I am active and would love to have some furry company on my walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I am open to watching dogs at my home if they are friendly with other dogs. I have a young heeler who loves making new doggie friends! I also can watch pets at your house and/or take the dogs for outings! I have my own car with plenty of space for transporting.

A typical day
We (Cassie and I) love to take walks around the neighborhood or enjoy the sun in my fenced backyard with lots of playtime throughout the day.
