About: I grew up with dogs and cats on the farm and own two dogs of my own. I have had each of them since they were puppies and they are now 7 and 8 years old. One of my dogs is reactive to other dogs so I understand some animals need a little extra time, love, and support to feel comfortable. I also foster kittens through a local organization. I have worked as a nurse for 10 years and have struggled to find trustworthy individuals to let my dogs out with my irregular schedule. I joined rover to help other people working odd hours have care for their pets. Since I have worked both day and night shift, I understand the need for animal care at non-traditional hours. I have also been a travel nurse and know the stress of moving to a new city and finding care. I am available on weekends, most holidays, and days before 2pm. I am occasionally available Monday and Friday evenings as well. I am familiar with cats and dogs of all sizes. My dog adores her and has had no issues with going to the bathroom which I was worried about. He feels safe and loved by her. Christal responds to messages almost instantly and takes lots of photos.
