Also at some point before the booking begins, feel free to share with me anything from simple care instructions to intricate step by step instructions - as a pet owner, I know that there’s no such thing as too many details! I want to make sure that I’m doing things the right way to keep your pet’s routine consistent while you’re gone.
A typical day
After greeting your pet, I typically like to start on the daily pet care tasks. After making sure things are clean and tidy and your pet is fed, I use the remaining time to play with your pet, pet them, or just plain sit with them to give them company - whatever they prefer.

Pet care experience
I started pet sitting during my free time in college and have continued long past graduation. I love making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. In the beginning I cared for a mix of cats and dogs but more recently I have transitioned to mostly cat care. Around the same time, my partner and I adopted 2 cats of our own. I have found that caring for them has taught me even more about the unique needs and preferences of cats. I have cared for several diabetic cats and feel comfortable giving insulin injections and other medications. Besides daily care tasks, I make sure that there is enough time left in the visit to provide pets with love and attention.
