About: Caring for animals feel natural to me and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality, quirks, and routines. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and sizes, from energetic puppies to adults. As a dog mom myself, I’m comfortable with crate training, reinforcing basic commands, administering medications, and following special diets or care instructions. I pay close attention to body language and behavior so pets can feel safe and comfortable while in my care. I’m a full-time online student and currently home full-time, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and spend plenty of quality time with the pets I care for. My two daughters absolutely adore animals and love helping give them attention and affection, while also understanding that some pets need space and quiet time. I’ll do my best to make them feel right at home. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable and at ease while you’re away. I have a flexible short, work schedule and plenty of time. I can accommodate walks, drop-ins, and boarding with advance notice. I’m happy to adjust with some heads up to meet your pet’s needs. I prioritize safety and comfort for every pet in my care. I live in an apartment with a dog park and enjoy walks and hikes. My own dog is neutered and vaccinated. I’m good with reading body language and I treat every pet as if they were my own!

About: Hi there! I'm Selina, a young professional who has 20 years of experience in caring for pets. Be it dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, hamsters - my family always made sure to keep me busy. :) I'm an artist and have a professional camera, so if you give me your okay, I might send your pet home with some cute new pictures or a painting of them (for free of course!!) if I have the time! I have experience handling dogs of all sizes. I love and can handle any size your furbaby comes in, be it a Cane Corso or a Chihuahua. 🐾 My family also has extensive history caring for cats for years and years. I've cared for them all - the feisty introverts who prefer to be left alone, as well as the snuggly lovebugs who need cuddles every few minutes. Let me know about their personalities so I can best meet their needs! 🐈‍⬛️ Your family members will be loved on and treated as family members of my own while they're in my care. I live in an apartment, but have a private huge gated dog park within my complex, as well as access to really pretty walk areas nearby. Right down the street we have a pretty pond where my own dog and I like to go watch the fish and turtles while having a picnic. :) If your pet requires any additional care such as medicine or has special needs, that is no problem at all. I have experience handling reactive dogs as well. Just let me know what they need and I'll be able to provide! :) I work a hybrid schedule, meaning I typically work from home Monday and Friday. 💻 I can take boarding requests from Tuesday-Thursday if your pet is okay with being left alone for a few hours. I have a fenced dog park in my complex so your pup and I can have safe play time! I have a dog of my own who LOVES other dogs. If you need me to separate your dog from mine for your comfort, that is entirely possible as I have a spare room to use. My dog is currently in a training program though, so she's not home at the moment.

Pet sitting is not just something to bring in an extra income but something that brings real joy, happiness, and fulfillment to my life. While having an animal for me, every single day isn’t realistic unfortunately ,I find that the ability to do this periodically throughout the year and to be around animals is very rewarding . This also gives me the ability to focus entirely on your animal and the comfort they need when family is away. I did security for nine years and have a level one fingerprint clearance card. I will treat your home with respect and when watching animals and my own home, I do not watch multiple animals from different households to ensure that no issues were to ever arise in a negative altercation. I do have a preference of housesitting at clients homes due to just the comfortability of the animals environment not changing. They tend to already have a little bit of anxiety with the owner, leaving and changing their environment can sometimes for some animals heighten that anxiety.
