About: I have always loved being around animals, but due to my living circumstances and travel activities, owning a pet has become complicated. After retiring in 2022, I stumbled upon pet/house sitting as a means to satisfy my travel urge and my desire to be around animals. In the three years I have been house sitting, I have cared for dozens of family pets in cities all around the US. I have a part time job working a few hours just a couple of mornings a week at a YMCA. However, I have plenty of room in my schedule when I am not traveling. Rover makes it possible for me to satisfy the urge for animal companionship when I am in KC. I do not have the space or circumstances to allow me to care for other people's pets in my home. However, I am willing to travel to your home to care for your pet when you cannot do so yourself. If you need to be gone overnight, I am willing to come and offer your pet the companionship they need to feel comfortable and safe. Similarly, I am happy to do drop-ins to let them out, feed them, take them for walks, clean their litter boxes, etc. As mentioned, I have been actively involved in pet sitting on TrustedHouseSitters for the past three years and have many 5-star reviews for my efforts.

“Megan took care of our 2 cats while we were on vacation. She did a great job caring for them, playing and interacting with them every time she visited. We will definitely be looking her up next time we go out of town.”

“Alexandra was very kind and caring for our beloved cat. She seems to have a deep understanding of felines and was able to meet our cat's needs while keeping us updated on a daily basis with beautiful photos and a comment or two about how she was doing. It was such a relief to know our kitty was in such capable and caring hands.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a very little girl. I love all types of animals and my children and I would do anything to provide for any animal. I am a busy mom with a full time job, that being said us moms have super powers so I can make pretty much anything fit into my schedule. The workweek I would be available for early mornings and evenings but the weekends are open and flexible. I have a big backyard and a lovable shitzu and lab to keep your animal company. I enjoy taking walks and getting exercise and playing inside or outside.

About: I feel I am great with interacting with animals. I make sure they are shown love when I am with them and I make sure they are well taken care of and in a clean area. I will be a college student and will use my free time to make sure your animals are cared for. Some days I may not be able to but I will do my best to make things work. Our dog is treated with love. She is like a human in our home. She eats with us at the same time and gets to play and hangout with us wherever. We take her on walks and we make sure she is loved.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. Neighbors, friends, and family have all relied on me at some point to take care of their pets. I always do my job well and the ask me to do it time and time again! I am currently a high school senior. I work part time as a CNA. So I will be available whenever I can around those times! My family has two dogs, and a cat. I feed and walk them regularly. I spend time with our pets and show them great care and attention.

About: I have grown up with pets for most of my life, and currently live with two dogs of various sizes. I was raised doing the 4-H program, and learned how to train dogs through that program. I have cared for my own pets as well as pets of family friends and neighbors. I am currently going to school and am in my Student Teaching year. That being said, most late afternoons and early evenings are free as well as most weekends. For the pets that I have grown up with, we have free fed them their food and water, and they had a doggy door to be able to leave and enter the house whenever they please. For future clients, I plan to do as instructed. If that means letting their pet outside twice a day or more, AWESOME! If there is a specific diet a pet needs, don't worry. I've got you covered.

His attention to detail, calm demeanor, and strong work ethic make him stand out in any role. While Pete hasn’t watched my own pets, I would absolutely trust him to do so. He approaches every responsibility with care and dedication, and I’ve seen firsthand how seriously he takes the wellbeing of those he’s entrusted with—qualities that translate perfectly to pet sitting.
