“Athena really shows care and affection for all our animals. She is very mindful of many details that other providers might miss. We always feel at peace leaving our animals in her care whether it be for an overnight or a week long trip.”

“Jeanette did such an amazing job taking care of our three cats when we were out of town. She writes detailed feedback and sends the best pictures - we still missed them but she made it so much better.”

About: I’ve had rodents, reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, fish, birds, cats and dogs throughout my life. I want the fun of taking care of your fur-babies and I want the challenge of giving them the health and love they deserve while you’re away. With my diverse work background in retail, food service, office administration, and medical assisting, I have experience to meet the indoor home safety, outdoor weather/terrain knowledge, and exercise/nutrition/medical needs of your pet. I have all day to visit with your fur-babies. You can see from my Rover Calendar availability how busy my life is. I just want to help your pets while you’re away. During our meet and greet, I’m happy to get to know your rodents, fish, reptiles and other pets. I can provide them care for an additional agreed-upon fee. In my apartment, my three-legged cat and my four-legged cat are high energy, so I either clear space for them to zoom or I provide the lasers and feathers to chase. My tripod has a strict weight/urinary diet, and my furball has a detailed hairball diet and care routine. Your furry friend will be given the same treatment by me as you give them when you’re home- just send me any additional instructions, i.e. doggos constant access to back yard, rodents want to use the exercise ball, etc.
“Trula has been a blessing for Percy and I! I work long shifts so having Trula available to dropin on Percy for his bathroom breaks and some scratches/loves has been amazing and we are so grateful! I appreciate the pictures and videos Trula sends during her visits and the report cards after are very helpful and informative. Trula is great at communicating what Percy needs or what she needs to better care for him. Long story short, if you're looking for someone to care for your pet and she's available, pick Trula!!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and other pets since I was 13. I truly love animals—especially dogs—and enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s going for walks or just hanging out. I think of dogs as our friends, and there’s a good chance I’ve already said hi to yours on the street! I work as an afterschool teacher / site manager at an elementary school in Portland. My mornings are open, and I’d love to fill them by spending time with your pets and lending a hand where I can. Safety is always my #1 priority and I will make sure to take care of your pet and your home like they are my own.
About: I have good experience providing reliable and loving pet care through drop in visits and dog walking for several families. I also have a golden retriever of my own who I care deeply for, giving me firsthand experience in keeping pets happy, healthy, and well-loved every day I’m a part-time worker and college student, but I have plenty of time during the week to provide reliable, caring pet sitting and dog walking services. I offer dog sitting in your home and reliable dog walking services. I care for my own golden retriever like she’s my baby, so I understand how important your dog is to you. I’ll treat your pet with the same love, attention, and care they deserves
“Sarah was great to meet with ahead of my long vacation. She was flexible when plans changed unexpectedly ahead of the trip. I'm excited to know I have someone I can trust to check in on things with my cat Duke as well as my house while I'm away.”

About: I have owned and trained dogs all of my life including my current dog. He is a 4 year old Australian shepherded who knows more than 30 tricks and gets upwards of 3-9 miles of walking or hiking daily. I am comfortable training and working all dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently full time at home with boundless amounts of energy to go on walks, as well as having a large collection of dog toys and treats. I have completely open availability, I generally start my days around 6am. I have my own transportation and revolve my day around my own dog’s needs including an abundance of hiking and mental stimulation. I live in a townhome with roommates who work all day long with my very dog friendly calm Australian shepherd. I have a small patio, but will do the majority or exercise out on walks around the neighborhood or hikes (if it’s comfortable with you). I have the master bedroom that is quiet spacious and can fit crates if requested by the owner. I’m working part time, but I start all of my days at 6am and have hours In The mornings and evenings to care for your pet. I base my interactions with animals on respect, consent, and love. I move at their pace listening to their body language. I have a very safe and quiet home environment and an untended yard. My community backs up to countless hiking trails and I have access to miles of sidewalks away from busy roads and chaotic environments.
“Schellene was reliable and has an understanding of cats, especially our shy kitty. She sent us photos and notes to keep us informed of our cat's progress. I highly recommend her and will be using her again!”

“A wonderfully relaxed and stress-free experience! It was great to not have to worry about the cat and the house while we were out of town. Myrna was absolutely terrific, thanks so much!”

About: I have had dogs all my life, I myself have a 9-year-old cocker spaniel, which is a very high maintenance dog. I have gone through potty training with puppies, all the way to medications with senior dogs. All pets require love, care and patience along with a reliant person to care for them and I can be your girl!! I'm currently in full-time schooling so I'm unavailable from 8am-3pm, I have little to no obligations after 3pm every weekday and I am available most weekends. I am able to spend a lot of time with your pet, play and take them on walks or to the park. My car is reliable as well for any visits or driving to parks father away!!
“Amy was such a huge help when I needed someone to drop in to feed my cats when my friend no longer could over Thanksgiving. I really appreciate her making sure my cats were happy and fed!”

“Xanthia and her children took great care of my cat! She was there for a week and didn't want to leave. I got frequent updates and lots of pictures. Xanthia was flexible with pick up/ drop off times. I am very happy with the whole experience.”

“Katie was fantastic with my cat, Minerva! I was gone for a week and got regular picture and video updates. Minerva can be a little shy at first but clingy once she comfortable. Katie did a great job letting Minerva get comfortable on her terms and was so warm and open to all the cuddles Minerva requires 😂 she was also very respectful of my home and left it in great shape. Absolutely will rebook her and recommend her for anyone with a quirky pet!”

About: I don’t live in Aurora, but I split my time between Portland and Salem. If you live in the Portland area or Salem area or anywhere in between, I am happy to help you with your pet sitting needs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. My earliest pet care was at the age of 10 taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they were gone. In my adult life, I've had one cat and 4 dogs. My current dog is a Standard Poodle named Percy. He's a huge love! I know your pets are your heart, too. I strive to give your pets my best love and care while you're gone, just like I would want someone to give Percy! I currently work from home, so I can pop in or stay over easily. I would hope that your pet is able to walk with Percy, because he would hate to be left out of the fun. Each pet is unique and will be respected. Grouchy kitty under the bed?? I’ll say hello extra sweet and then leave them be. Tigger-like active puppy? Let’s throw some balls in the yard! The pet that thinks my lap is there’s?? Good snuggles and lots of sweet talk, for sure! Let’s chat and see what your pet needs.
“Christina did a great job with my cats. She was responsible, on time, and got cute pictures of them, even though they hide a lot. I hired her during a stressful time, and she was compassionate and friendly to me and my family.”
“Katie did a great job looking after my older dog. She was right on time, obviously caring and followed all the instructions left for her, even sending photos of her visits. I highly recommend and would definitely hire Katie again.”
