About: I've almost always had some sort of animal in the house growing up. There have always been cats and dogs, of course, but we've also had anything from horses and birds to ferrets and reptiles. About: I’ve been rescuing animals for over 22 years-I’ve cared for big, slobbery Rottweilers to tiny, judgmental cats, fish who pretend not to notice me, and guinea pigs that somehow eat like linebackers. I’ve handled rabbits with attitude, a special needs Yorkie who runs the house, and our Texas rescue Lucy—who I’m pretty sure thinks she rescued me. I have a designated bedroom with a ring camera just for my furry friends! We can keep the pets isolated in their own space the entire time, or they can have free roaming of the house. Options for those pets who need less sensory and more quiet and privacy. I work full-time at a hospital Monday through Friday, so my availability for more hands-on, all-day care is best on weekends. During the week, I’m still happy to offer overnight stays, I just like to mention that-because on weekdays, there may be up to an eight-hour stretch without potty breaks while I’m at work. I live in a fantastic walking neighborhood and can happily meet you in yours or bring them to mine. Can never get too much exercise in! Plus, my big fully fenced in yard is at their disposal.

“Kristopher saved the day when our regular neighborhood dog sitter fell through. I had never used rover.com before, so I was shocked to even be able to find someone on such short notice. Less than a minute after I logged onto the website, Kristopher responded that yes, he was available. Talk about fast response time! Wow! He then sent beautiful, professional quality photos of our dog during the three day stay. He also made dropoff and pickup so easy. “So thankful for Kevin, Atalaya and their kids for taking care of Greta while we were on a long vacation overseas. I was nervous at first as Greta can be reactive on leash to other dogs but Kevin and Atalaya were very reassuring that things would be fine. They communicated and sent lots of pictures and videos of Greta enjoying her stay and having lots of fun with all the other dogs and her walks through the orchards. Greta came back very happy and relaxed following her stay. I highly recommend this family for pet sitting!”
