“Ashley, who goes by “Red,” is an absolutely wonderful human being, and if she is available, book her! Back in May, as a first-time user of Rover, I created 3 separate bookings with a sitter who had glowing reviews. However, on the day of our meet & greet—only 1 week before our first trip—she completely ghosted us. I nearly panicked because I didn’t think we’d be able to find an available sitter on such short notice. I hopped back on Rover, entered my dates, filtered by Star Sitters, and hit “search.” Red was at the top of my search results, and after looking over her profile, I felt like she may be a good choice. Although her calendar showed her as available for the dates of our trip, I was prepared to be let down. I sent her a message explaining our situation. Not only did she respond quickly, she also responded with kindness & empathy. Best of all, she was available to sit for our beloved kitty! AND she volunteered to come over the next morning for a meet & greet! Less than 24 hours after reaching out to her, Red messaged me to let me know she was on her way to my house. Upon opening my door, I immediately liked her. Seriously. She just radiates this incredible energy! She is also so kind, compassionate, and engaging. She explained how she has devoted her life to caring for animals, and she just lit up as she was telling us about it. Best of all? Sassy, our shy & anxious kitty, came out of hiding pretty quickly to investigate her, and by the end of the visit, was giving Red love rubs on her leg! This was unprecedented, and we were absolutely shocked. Sassy’s response to meeting Red left no doubts in our mind; we had chosen the perfect caretaker for our precious kitty. We booked Red for two of our three camping trips. This review is based on our second booking with her, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her! She is the sweetest person! And an excellent communicator, which is vital for us anxious pet parents who are forced to leave our beloved (and vulnerable!) pets home alone. I had no qualms leaving Sassy alone this second time because I knew that Red would take excellent care of her…and she absolutely has! I am so sad that Red is not available for our third trip, but if she’s available next summer, you can bet I will be booking her!”

About: Hi! My goal is to make sure your pet is safe and comfortable while getting the best form of care I can provide. Growing up with animals, especially dogs, has taught how to be a patient and caring person. I’ve built a relationship with my own dog off of trust and want to do the same while caring for your pupper! I’m a focused and detail oriented person and will work to ensure all your specific needs are met. Currently I’m working part time, so I have a flexible and pretty open schedule to take care of your pets. I’m also good with last minute changes and can easily switch around my schedule for what works best for you! I live in a small town with plenty of areas to walk dogs and I also have a fenced in back yard. I have one dog and two cats that do well around other animals, as well as a trustworthy vehicle to take me to your location.

About: I worked at rescue from 14-16, consistently walking dogs and cleaning cat rooms. I also volunteered at the humane society and UPaws as a dog walker for a period of time. Along with that I have house sat for numerous individuals over the years for dogs and cats! *PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WEEKDAYS I CAN ONLY WORK 6-10* I work a full time job, but it is my goal to set aside time that you may not have to dedicate to your animals. About: I’m new to the area but not new to pet sitting. I had a successful pet sitting business in Savannah, Ga for over 12 years. I have over 30+ years experience with pets from both big to small: dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, parrots, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. I have experience with all pet stages and I’m comfortable with taking care from puppies to elderly pets as well. I’m a stay at home mom but both kids are now in school and my husband is a disabled veteran so he’s home to take care of them so I am fully available to be free to care for your fur babies. Staying in your home or doing drop ins, I’ll stick to your schedule on feedings and I prefer unless absolutely unavoidable to let the dogs out every 4hrs or so unless the dog prompts the need to go outside. If the dog is elderly or has a bladder issue or potty training I can let them out more frequently. The pet is receive love, affection, and we’ll play (varying on dogs needs or likes). Animals are like people, so understanding their personality and likes helps keep them comfortable and happy. Cat litter unless specified I change/clean daily. If you have houseplants I can water them or open blinds for them to get their necessary light, I will also bring in any packages and your mail if desired.

About: Got a special request Just ASK & I can probably accommodate! I treat my home like an Airbnb for dogs!! If you use talking dog boards ( not provided) or have any additional training needs I am happy to include that with booking. I do have talking dog buttons accessible to dogs in my home so they can request any basic needs they have. Not all dogs use them but we have them & will offer the option to every dog! I also can provide Spaw Services this includes all natural paw pedicures ( No nail trimming), paw pad treatment, doggy massages & stretches. Cooling collars in the summer, & warm blankets in the winter. Doggy facials & all natural doggy face wipes, & all natural coat treatments. My puppy Dutch gets a weekly coconut oil fur treatment. Also offer all natural food options for dogs! ( Price not included in boarding) At age 12 I started volunteering for Leader Dog of the Blind and Paws With A Cause training career service dogs. I have trained numerous dog and have over 20yrs of experience. When boarding dogs I take in consideration breeds, personalities, age & special needs. I provide shorter walks and shorter play times with older or special need dogs. I also rotate one on one time with the dogs I am boarding. Each stay I provide 1-2 walks per day and outdoor play times. I provide training with the dogs free of charge. Some examples are walking calmly, eye contact, and waiting calmly. I view dog boarding as a "Doggy Arb&B" & do my best to incorporate outings such as a walk to get pup cups in the summer. In colder months I provide nights by the fire with stuffed bones. Or I make all natural homemade dog treats in my experience the dogs enjoy laying in the kitchen while I make them. And of course provide lots of love & cuddles free of charge! am taking boarding, drop in visits, and other pet services. I have a fenced in backyard. Daily walks and play times are given throughout day. On weekends I am outside most days . The dog/s can enjoy ice bowls, kiddie, pool, and shade in the backyard. My son & view dog boarding as a doggy ARB & B. They are on vacation too. In the summer months their last night of boarding they get a special walk to the ice cream store to enjoy a pup cup & extra one on one time.

About: I have taken care of my neighbors cats and dogs when they have gone on vacation for about 4 years now. I am very responsible and love being around animals. I am currently a student at a university. So I have weekends off and I can stay overnight with pets. I am also free during the week occasionally. I love interacting with pets. I will play with them and make them feel safe when their owner is gone. I will stay with them overnight if need be.

About: I've worked with and taken care of animals at every point in my life, both professionally and personally. I've worked in dog daycare facilities and The Humane Society as well as a few pet stores! Along with dogs and cats, I have knowledge of smaller mammals, birds and reptiles (that's Morla in some of my pictures, a Sulcata tortoise). I can also provide basic obedience training support and maybe a few tricks! There's nothing better than four legs and a wagging tail! As a part time worker from home, I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends! Fitting in time throughout the day (or night) will never be a problem. Whether dropping in for a midday visit or for a nice walk, I can do my best to get out the built up energy your fur friend may have. Playing fetch or tug, or even a long belly rub! While I do not have a fenced yard, play and exercise is possible with longer leads and walks around the property. Plenty of playtime and exploration inside and out!

About: I’ve had 9 pets over the years. I love walking dogs, and stopping in to check on the fur babies. I’ve earned many certificates for my knowledge on animals, taken dog training classes, successfully trained a service dog, assisted with training a willful border collie, and worked at a dog hotel and daycare that also accepted cats. I have taken care of neighbors and family pets. I love to play games with pets and make sure to have relax time. Hi, I am available most days. I do require a Free Meet and Greet before our first appointment. Please feel free to chat with me to find a perfect day and time I can take care of your pet. My pet sitting is a drop-in visit, which I can do as many times as you need per day. Each visit can be 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 1 hour. During that time I will refresh/refill water and food, potty time, and playtime, send a photo of the pet to the owner at the end of each visit, and fill out a pet sitting report card. I’m more than happy to learn your habits and routines with your pets and mimic those. I always make sure to put safety above all else. pets must be leashed at all times when outside unless going in a fully fenced-in safe yard.

About: I’ve taken care of big, small and medium dogs of all different breeds for three years. I’ve even cared for cats as well. My family has always ran to me with their animal needs and I have bathed, fed, walked and have had genuine play time with every single one of them. I currently work full-time but get home around 6 pm everyday. I can do nights and do not work weekends at all. I’ll have plenty of time for your pets! I will leave your dog/house looking better than when I arrived. I will go above and beyond for your fur babies as I have one of my own, and couldn’t imagine them not having the best care!
