About: I have had family pets for my whole life. Dogs and cats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. I worked at a horse barn for over 2 years. My cat had passed away over a year ago from liver cancer. I am used to incorporating medicine in food, pills or even a syringe directing in the mouth. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time for daily care including walks, sitting or feedings.I am also available for weekly routines as well. I love to look at notes/routines provided from the client and follow accordingly. I love to send update pictures/videos to keep updated on their pets daily as I do my best for their pets to have the best time. I do not take risks as the wellbeing of pets are paramount.
“Molly is the ONLY person I’ll ever consider when having to leave my dogs home while I travel! She was FANTASTIC with my dogs and they ADORE HER! She is uniquely qualified as a Vet Tech, and I felt very comfortable in knowing my older dog’s meds were given and given correctly. My dogs were so well cared for that they really weren’t overly excited to see me when I returned! Thank you, Molly, for the outstanding care and attention you gave to my dogs!!!”

About: Welcome! I have over 20years experience working with dogs. I like to look at my pet boarding as an Airbnb for pets! I am a former service dog trainer. I am currently enrolled in dog training courses through Rover. I will be completing a Veterinarian Assistant program this summer. There is always someone home or available. I work & study remotely. I do provide talking dog buttons. If your dog uses them let me know & we will have them available with words your dog uses & hopefully learn some new ones! Anything that is trending that promoted positive life quality for dogs I usually have on hand or am incorporating it into use Each day I incorporate daily walks, cuddles, & basic training. Basic training is eye contact, leash & buddy walking. I provide one on one time for the dogs each daily. I make sure no dog feels left out. In the summer months their last night of boarding they get a special walk to the ice cream store to enjoy a pup cup & extra one on one time. On weekends in the summers. I am outside most days . The dog/s can enjoy ice bowls, kiddie pool, water sprinklers and shade in the backyard. In the summer I offer water play daily! They have free will to come in & out of the house into the fenced in yard all day! In the fall & winter months the dogs can enjoy outside time by a warm outdoor doggie bonfire. There are areas they can romp in the leaves & explore. I also incorporate daily walks weather permitting. On colder days or rainy days we have a rainy paw day. If the dogs are open to it they can enjoy some doggy stretches, Spaw services such as coconut oil rubs on their paw pads, homemade doggie treats, and dog related movies and cuddles!
About: I worked at Potter Park Zoo. I have experience boarding, and training dogs. I have the experience to keep your pets both safe and happy. I care for dogs and cats daily as the owner of a boarding facility. This will be another offering for my customers and the community. There is opportune time to attend to in home visits. I will use my experience of owning a boarding facility, which can house up to 34 pet guests, to care for your pets in your home. I will feed, let out and interact and play with them.
About: I worked at rescue from 14-16, consistently walking dogs and cleaning cat rooms. I also volunteered at the humane society and UPaws as a dog walker for a period of time. Along with that I have house sat for numerous individuals over the years for dogs and cats! *PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WEEKDAYS I CAN ONLY WORK 6-10* I work a full time job, but it is my goal to set aside time that you may not have to dedicate to your animals. Not only am I motivated to get my steps in, but also get your dog’s steps in too! It is crucial to provide a clean and safe environment for my animals or animals I am watching. Not only do I respect the wishes of my clients but also make time spent fulfilling and enriching for the family pet!
About: I’ve taken care of big, small and medium dogs of all different breeds for three years. I’ve even cared for cats as well. My family has always ran to me with their animal needs and I have bathed, fed, walked and have had genuine play time with every single one of them. I currently work full-time but get home around 6 pm everyday. I can do nights and do not work weekends at all. I’ll have plenty of time for your pets! I will leave your dog/house looking better than when I arrived. I will go above and beyond for your fur babies as I have one of my own, and couldn’t imagine them not having the best care!
“Sara is absolutely amazing. I was so hesitant to leave anyone with my fur babes but I will never have to do that again with Sara in our lives. This was our first time using Sara for pop in visits and she exceeded our expectations. I have a diabetic senior dog who requires insulin and eye drops as well as a playfully sweet 3 year old dog, 1 attention stealing cat and 15 chickens. She genuinely enjoys what she does and goes above and beyond with all of it. We are incredibly blessed to have found Sara and will definitely be utilizing her again and again.”

About: I’ve had the joy of owning cats and dogs for many many years. I have owned several varieties. I have also had the joy of taking care of other peoples pets. I currently work part-time and I can fit pet Care into my daily and or weekly routine with ease. I am available for more hours in the summer. I tend to care for others pets in their home or walking. I do have my own pets and I know it’s not best to introduce unknown animals.
“April is phenomenal! Her strengths are communication, attention to detail, and promptness. Her super powers are making my dogs happy, calm, and content! I’m super pleased with her and plan to keep on having her return.”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life, I worked in the vet field for over 4 years in various aspects, I previously worked at a dog groomers. I currently have 1 dog and a cat, I used to have lots of reptiles as well! I'm never afraid of any dog and welcome them with open arms. I currently work part time Wednesday - Saturdays pretty consistently, but my days don't start until earliest 830am and I'm normally done between 4-5 (unless we have a late day scheduled). Sunday - Tuesdays are my off days outside of doctor appointments and any other extra curriculars I do ☺️ I do only offer in home services as my older dog is a bit of a rough player and my younger is in service training and I can't take the risk of him being injured. In you home, I will stay with you pet overnight if that is what makes you the most comfortable. They can sleep with me or be crated, whichever is preferred by you. Feeding will always be on schedule and meds can be administered as needed (I have a lot of experience keeping meds straight for my own dogs). A daily walk will happen (distance dependent on dog and weather) and we will play in the yard and enjoy lots of cuddles and belly rubs!! While I love spoiling my own babys, I'll make sure to keep everything as consistent as possible for you!

“Amazing!! Carissa visited our two dogs periodically while we were away for the weekend. It was an unconventional request, and she was very accommodating. Our very shy Jupiter warmed up to Carissa at the first meeting. Can't wait to hire her again!”

“Brooke was amazing ! I’m a Paramedic in Flint so I work long days . I have a new pup that is 5 months old and he’s crated while I’m at work . She came to my house and was able to let him out and play with him . She gave him some water and a couple treats . I booked her again because she seemed to do really well with my puppy . She communicated with me and I am very grateful to her for taking the time .”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
