About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old! I love having pets in my home and making them a part of my family. My dog loves every dog she has ever met and loves to have a playmate! If you bring your pet to my house they will be treated like one of my family members! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30-4, but my husband works from home and I am home all day during the weekends. My husband also loves dogs and has plenty of free time during his work day to take walks and give lots of love! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for running. We are on a cul de sac so there is very little traffic in my part of the neighborhood. My home also has several baby gates to make sure that your pet is safe if I have to leave them in the house for a short amount of time.

About: I’ve had animals since I was a young girl. As a child we had cats. As a young adult I worked for a grooming, daycare, and boarding facility for 16 years. The only reason I stopped working was because of the birth of might twins.I also volunteered for a pet rescue, a pet shelter, and of course owned my own dogs, cats, and hamster. I’m a mom of 7! Some grown , some in college, and my youngest 2 are 9 year old twins. I have plenty of time during the days to walk, spend time, cuddle, and love on your furry family members. My specialty is mid day breaks/walks or check ins while you’re away or have a long day at work. I am aware of the tremendous responsibility it is caring for your pet. I have my own pups and kitties and will give the same love, care, and respect my babies receive.

About: I've always had a love for animals and have been taking care of pets for the past 10+ years. Making sure your pets are comfortable in my care is my top priority. I have experience working with several types of pets, from guinea pigs to cats to dogs. I've also volunteered at animal shelters as well. I have a gentle presence with animals but can be firm if needed (rarely). The usual routine when I dog sit is to make sure they are fed, have water, go outside as needed for the bathroom and to play, go on walks, make sure pets feel comfortable with a different person taking care of them. I'll chat with them and keep them company too! I'm happy to keep in touch while you're away with updates & pet photos. I also have experience giving medicine to pets if needed. Please be aware that I work a full time job M-F 8am-5pm. I currently work a flexible schedule and I have more than enough time to dedicate to caring for your pet and making sure their needs are met. I always make sure to follow the necessary steps to ensure that your pet is safe with me, based on the information you provide as the pet parent (re: if they use a leash, if the yard is fenced, when they do/do not wear their collar, etc). I will follow the same routine that you & your pet follow to maintain comfort & safety.

About: My name is Stuart, I am relocating to the area as I am starting a position at Albany Medical Center (AMC) in October. As I wait to begin my next chapter, nothing would make me more happy than to spend time with animals! I have always had a knack for the outdoors and have always had a soft spot for animals. I am an avid runner and am almost always be found running or hiking. I can guaranteed your dog will get the exercise and care he/she needs under my supervision. I have experience volunteering at the Lake Placid Vet as-well as volunteer experience at the Saranac Lake Animal Shelter. There is fenced in dog parks within the complex for easy bathroom visits as well as prolonged paved trails right next to my apartment that go into the woods for longer walks in the evening around lunchtime and in the morning. Dog Gates secure the dog within our second floor, preventing entry to third floor bedrooms and first floor mudroom. Dogs will have eyes on them at all times when not with owner.

About: Hello, my name is Alie and my #1 passion is animals! In search of my calling in life, I have found myself working for a pet grooming salon in my hometown, Milton, NY! I spend my days Tuesday-Saturday bathing and grooming neighborhood dogs then go home to love on my own German Shepard/Belgian Malinois mix and Tabby cat! My weekends are filled with time spent with my family (pets are family!) and my pet sitting clients. I have spent my whole life around dogs and cats, helping to fulfill all of their needs, and have been formally pet-sitting for the public since 2021. Since I was about 12 years old, I have gained experience caring for dogs for friends and family, providing basic care such as feeding and potty breaks. As I grew, my experience expanded to include transportation to and from the vet and groomer, feeding, oral medication administration, ear drops/ointment, eye drops, walking, and (the best part of course) playing! Meet & Greets are a necessary part of the booking process to ensure everyone's safety over the course of a booking. All bookings that include a dog are required to have a one-time complimentary Meet & Greet prior to booking. Dogs are careful about the humans they trust, espcially with their parents gone, so I'd like to make friends with you present! Other bookings that only include cats are not required to have a Meet & Greet prior to booking but you are more than welcome to request one! Any additional Meet & Greets that are requested beyond the initial complimentary Meet & Greet will be booked at the drop-in rate listed on my profile. At the first visit, slow and quiet are the name of the game, I take my time going about their routine so they can get used to me! After my tasks are done, it's my goal to make them as comfy as possible by offering them their favorite toys and treats at their own pace. About: I’m a beginner on Rover, but I’ve been caring for dogs for about 6 years through friends and family, and it’s something I truly love doing. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs with all kinds of personalities, high-energy pups, shy dogs, older dogs, and everything in between, so I’m very comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique needs. I’m applying to Physician Assistant School this spring and am working to get experience while I finish my applications. My hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. I don’t have time during my work day to stop in to let pets out or feed them and am best suited to do walks, feedings, and keep company in the early morning or evenings. My weekends are typically open and flexible as I am able to stay at the house all day but prefer to drop by several times throughout the day for whatever care is necessary. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities while staying in your home. I make it a point to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific care instructions, so they feel secure and stress-free in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s behavior, boundaries, and personality to ensure they feel safe and respected. I’m very attentive and always keep a close eye on pets, whether we’re relaxing at home or out for a walk. I also make sure doors, gates, and any potential hazards are secure at all times. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life as my family have always owned dogs along with the occasional neighbor going on vacation. I love to go on good long walks with my dogs and I would love to do the same with other pets! My schedule is different from day to day depending on my classes. I have more free time on the weekends but also have several hour break between classes during the week. My house has a big backyard along with walking trails in forested area near by that is great on hot days. I don’t normally like walking next to roads so my favorite is to find secluded trails.

About: I have taken care of many different animals my whole life, from dogs to fish to reptiles to birds! I even have a bachelors degree in wildlife biology. I am currently not working, so I am free throughout the entire day and every day of the week. I love spending time with animals as much as I can. I have a large, fenced in backyard. I also have the space to crate an animal if needed (if provided the crate as well). There is plenty of space for your animal to roam.

About: I've been around pets my whole life they are the best thing ever created. I've had a 3 dogs and about probably 13 cats in total growing up. Animals are my passion. I've always taken care of my fur babies before myself. When it comes to my fur babies - they have been a part of my life for nearly a decade.
