“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. “John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. Part of my business is even making pet products like bow ties, bandanas, toys, healthy treats, signs and organic paw wax. I run my boarding and daycare full time. It is what i live every day. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉

About: My name is Stuart, I am relocating to the area as I am starting a position at Albany Medical Center (AMC) in October. As I wait to begin my next chapter, nothing would make me more happy than to spend time with animals! I have always had a knack for the outdoors and have always had a soft spot for animals. I am an avid runner and am almost always be found running or hiking. I can guaranteed your dog will get the exercise and care he/she needs under my supervision. I have experience volunteering at the Lake Placid Vet as-well as volunteer experience at the Saranac Lake Animal Shelter. The only reason I stopped working was because of the birth of might twins.I also volunteered for a pet rescue, a pet shelter, and of course owned my own dogs, cats, and hamster. I’m a mom of 7! Some grown , some in college, and my youngest 2 are 9 year old twins. I have plenty of time during the days to walk, spend time, cuddle, and love on your furry family members. My specialty is mid day breaks/walks or check ins while you’re away or have a long day at work. I am aware of the tremendous responsibility it is caring for your pet. I have my own pups and kitties and will give the same love, care, and respect my babies receive.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life primarily for friends and family. I’ve taken care of german shepards, labradors, pit bulls, and many more. I’ve even more recently fostered a kitten for a few months as she waited to be adopted. I will make sure your furry friend is played with, fed, walked, snuggled (if they like that) and most importantly loved! I work as a waitress so my hours vary depending on the week. Usually shifts are 5 hours but can go up to about 10 hours if I am out on a double. I average about 30 hours a week. I can house up to two dogs in my home, however my backyard is only partially fenced in. I will not take dogs from different families/bookings at the same time. I am a very clean and tidy person so you do not need to worry about coming home to a mess. I am respectful of other peoples belongings and will only use what you tell me I am allowed to use.
About: I've always had a love for animals and have been taking care of pets for the past 10+ years. Making sure your pets are comfortable in my care is my top priority. I have experience working with several types of pets, from guinea pigs to cats to dogs. I've also volunteered at animal shelters as well. I have a gentle presence with animals but can be firm if needed (rarely). The usual routine when I dog sit is to make sure they are fed, have water, go outside as needed for the bathroom and to play, go on walks, make sure pets feel comfortable with a different person taking care of them. I'll chat with them and keep them company too! I'm happy to keep in touch while you're away with updates & pet photos. I also have experience giving medicine to pets if needed. Please be aware that I work a full time job M-F 8am-5pm. I currently work a flexible schedule and I have more than enough time to dedicate to caring for your pet and making sure their needs are met. I always make sure to follow the necessary steps to ensure that your pet is safe with me, based on the information you provide as the pet parent (re: if they use a leash, if the yard is fenced, when they do/do not wear their collar, etc). I will follow the same routine that you & your pet follow to maintain comfort & safety.

“Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. “John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us.
