About: Hello, My name is Ezekiel or Zeke for short! I been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I love almost every animal I come across and would like to think they feel the same about me. I have been pet sitting professionally for about 15 years now. From trembling chihuahuas all the way to loving bumbling pitties. Through the rain or shine, I’ll make sure your pups are loved and cared for. Currently my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m available weekdays (and weekends as needed). All in all I’m pretty flexible with whatever you and your pet may need! I'm always happy to work around you & your pet's routine to make sure they get all the love, care, and attention they deserve while you're away! Currently, I'm not able to host pets in my apartment due to building rules. However I am more than happy to provide in-home sitting, drop-in care, and walking. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including a Black Lab, Miniature Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd. Being around such different breeds has taught me that every dog has their own personality, energy level, quirks, and way of showing you what they need. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs in my family. I regularly help care for my sister’s two dogs—a 1-year-old Corgi and a 13-year-old English Bulldog. Having both a young, energetic dog and a senior dog has given me an appreciation for how different their needs can be. I also frequently care for a French Bulldog in my family when his dad needs someone he trusts to look after him. And of course, I can’t forget Mochi, my boyfriend’s approximately 5-year-old Chihuahua-Terrier mix. Mochi is another special part of my life and has given me even more experience getting to know a dog’s individual personality, routines, habits, and quirks. Caring for him has also taught me that sometimes the smallest dogs have the biggest personalities! What makes pet care special to me is that I don't look at it as simply a job or a checklist of feeding, walking, and letting a pet outside. Your pets are family, and I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you're away. I’m naturally very patient, attentive, and nurturing with animals. I pay attention to the little things—whether a dog needs some extra exercise, some quiet time, reassurance in a new situation, or simply someone to sit beside them and give them some love. I’m also comfortable giving pets the time and space they need to warm up to me rather than expecting them to immediately feel comfortable. Whether your pup is a playful youngster, a laid-back senior, or somewhere in between, I’ll take the time to understand what makes them happy and make their care feel as close to home as possible. And because I’m a lifelong animal lover, I genuinely believe that four little paws come with a whole lot of love—and deserve a whole lot right back. My schedule is currently flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week, including weekends when available. I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual routine and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, companionship, and care they need. I’m also very mindful about doors, gates, leashes, feeding instructions, and keeping pets safely supervised.
