She has walked my husky, Niko, for a few weeks now. He absolutely loves her! She is always friendly, on time, flexible with my schedule if I need to change something, and always keeps me updated on how he did on his walk with information and pictures. She even runs a little bit sometimes with Niko (which is great to tire him out). Niko is a better dog because of Mary Helen! About: I have grown up with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes! My neighbor was a dog breeder and would rely on me to help take care and walk the puppies for them. I currently own a Morkie and a lab/pit mix that love going for walks! My husband and I have two dogs, and I know how important it is for you to feel comfortable leaving them with someone else while you are away. I am a reliable, communicative caregiver who treats every pet like my own. Whether it is a walk around Lake Murray, a game of laser tag with your cat, playtime in the backyard or sticking to your pet's routine, I will keep you updated with photos and messages while you are apart. My goal is to help your pet feel comfortable and cared for while they miss you and give you peace of mind while you miss them. I am a full-time alumni manager and instructor with flexible work hours from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Depending on your pet’s needs, I can provide visits early in the morning, during my lunch break, and in the evening after work. Each client is unique in their needs, and I am happy to tailor my care to what works best for you, including your preferred method and frequency of updates.

About: I have had pets my whole life practically. We currently have 2 dogs, 4 cats and 14 chickens with some more on the way! I’ve had rabbits, hamsters, a guinea pig, an iguana, bearded dragons, geckos, a blue tongue skunk and a ball python. I love MOST animals!! (No spiders or bugs) Animals make life so special and they deserve all the love and care!! I had to quit a pharmacy technician career to be home and available for my daughter who is still in treatment for leukemia so I’d love to take care of your fur babies!! I’m taking care of animals every day! There is never a time that I’m sitting down that I don’t have a dog or cat in my lap. If I’m not sitting, they’re following me around everywhere! And I tend to my chickens daily, collecting eggs, checking feed and water and giving treats! I have only sat for people in their home so far. I follow what instructions they leave and check in with them to let them know how things are going. I would want that reassurance so I do that for my clients.

About: I have grown up with dogs all of my life, I love dogs and cats and all animals for that matter. So in case you have another animal as well as the dogs, I am totally and conpletely willing to watch and take care of them as well. I am very good with instructions on how to take care of them in a certain way if you please. I will show them so much love and compassion, I will snuggle with them, and play with them until their satisfied or have no more energy left. I always make sure they go outside for potty breaks every so often. I will always make sure they are fed enough and if so fed the amount the owner desires. I will also make sure they get plenty of walks and exercise. I’m currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups or kitties! I’m available on weekends and weekdays! I am the proud pet owner of a three-year-old German Shepherd and two cats one 8 year-old and one 2 year-old. I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life so I know how to keep them entertained and loved as much as they need!

About: I have experience working in animal rescue, fostering, basic training, and complex medical maintenance for both dogs and cats. I have fostered over 100 dogs in ten years and owned two heart dogs and three beloved cats, all who had complicated medical conditions that required daily management. Pets are family to me and deserve the best care and consideration. I am currently on sabbatical and looking to fill my days with happy time with pets though walks, play, and just quality time. I’m available every day 11 am to 6 pm. Two days notice is required for both dog walking or dog check-in requests. I have a fenced in back yard and crates, along with dog safe toys, doggy gates, and non slip mats throughout the house for better traction for older dogs.
