About: For the past five years, I lived with and was part-time parent to two amazing dogs. Unfortunately, their dad and I recently broke up, meaning I had to move out. While I still get to babysit and visit them, I'm feeling the loss of not having my two best friends with me all the time, especially when working from home. Help me dull the heartache by caring for your pet(s) and help me save up money to adopt my own bestie one day. (Pictures of said pups - Milo & Daisy - in my profile) I have been intermittentlly house/petsitting, walking dogs, and visiting cats for friends and co-workers in Denver for years. Much of my ability to read and bond with animals comes from my early life experiences. Growing up I had indoor/outdoor dogs and indoor cats, who I showed in 4-H to demonstrate healthy grooming, etc. One cat required twice-a-day insulin shots, which I administered. In high school, I volunteered regularly at the Clinton County, IN Humane Society and was named "Volunteer of the Year". My duties there involved walking dogs, socializing with cats, letting dog-friendly dogs out together in the large play pen and monitoring, feeding, washing kennels, and bathing dogs. I work from home three days a week. During those days, I can do drop-in visits or walks for pets near me. I am happy to board your pets in my home any day as long as they are able to manage themselves quietly while I'm away and are potty-trained. I go into the office two days a week. I'm happy to house/pet-sit any day. I have most evenings, every other Friday, and weekends free. I'm very organized and communicative, so just let me know if you have questions about my schedule! I can do a lot with advanced planning and have flexibility for the most part. I will care for your pets per your instructions. All families are different with different norms. I understand they may have varying needs, command words, schedules, etc. so I will look to you to define those for me to the extent you have them.

“Our dog is not an easy dog to take care of. We interviewed and spoke with several dog care givers. The way Scot connected with our dog immediately was amazing. He was respectful, he listened to us and our fur baby. I will admit I was nervous for our trip, but I swear my dog had a better time with Scot then we did our vacation! He recognized what our dog liked and spoiled him. I never had bad communication with Scot, he always sent me very detailed notes on how their day went! Even in his notes you could just tell my dogs personality meshed so well with him. He was so honest, so caring so amazing! I really liked Tiffany (and her daughter Sophia). She took great care of my dog Mika. They took her on walks and made her feel comfortable in their own home. She sent photos and updates that my dog was fine. From the beginning, communication with Tiffany was easy. I highly recommend her and in fact already recommended her to my other friends who have dogs too. Mika will be back for sure.
Thomas was great! He was very communicative and professional, and really made me feel confident leaving my dog Molly with him. Molly came back from her trip happy and tired- she slept the whole day when she got back, so I can tell she had a good time! Will definitely bring Molly to Thomas again in the future!
Doby did an amazing job looking after Lux, my 11 year old pup for a few days. Lux was super comfortable with Doby and I received plenty of updates and pics so I knew my pup was in great hands. Very appreciative of how accommodating Doby was with Lux’s idiosyncrasies and I would certainly recommend.
Alex is the best! He takes great care of our dog whenever she is there, following our instructions and making sure she is an happy pup. He is also very quick on communication, which I appreciate. He’s our go-to and first choice for care whenever we need someone - thanks Alex!
Sandi was fantastic with Argos. She was flexible with pickup and dropoff and a last minute bout of diarrhea from our dog before we handed him off. She really cares about dogs and you can tell this immediately! Really appreciated her constant attention and updates for Argos
Son watched Noodle for the second time, this time on pretty short notice, and I couldn’t have been happier with his care! He took her to the park several times daily, sent steady pictures and updates, and is always extremely responsive. For anyone looking for a caring and reliable Rover, I couldn’t recommend Son enough. He will certainly be the first person I reach out to anytime we need a sitter moving forward.
Daniela was incredible! She sent me plenty of photos and I know Fitzy got a ton of exercise. She really cares about The dogs she watches and even went above and beyond when I had to extend it last minute. She was a total pro and I will definitely hire her again- 10/10 recommend!
