“Friendly, communicative, understanding - Tracy does it all! She catered to my cat’s needs and made sure to help him feel comfortable. Tracy’s experience with pets is unmatched, and I would be comfortable to hire her any time.”

“Kasie did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats. She always made sure to refill & wash their water bowls, scoop the litter, and even got our mail for us. She also played with the kitties as well, with their favorite toys. And when we had to cut our vacation short due to sickness, she refunded some of the days for us! Can’t thank her enough ?”
“Dominique was amazing with my 2 cats during all her visits! She responded quickly to messages and went above and beyond to care for my pets. I definitely recommend Dominique to anyone!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as a few cats, for years in a more casual setting. I usually sit for friends, family friends, and neighbors, usually through check-ins, and only a few times with boarding in my own home. I have two dogs of my own, ages 5 and 9mo who were both raised from puppies, so I have basic puppy training and grooming skills. I also have experience with dogs who need regular medication or who have specialized/specific diets. I am open to caring for any pets except birds, special needs/sensitive reptiles, and insects. I am currently a student at Penn State and I am looking for summer job in my hometown. I would most likely be free at almost any time during the week and would be open to over night stays as well with prior notice. I would be open to set a meeting with you and your pet before house sitting or check-in dates to discuss schedules and specifics as well as to meet your pet. I am currently unable to sit at my own house. My contact info will be provided and I will be available for call at all points during my care for your pet.
“I was hesitant to try something like Rover because my dog can be stubborn but Kristy was amazing and worked some magic on my stubborn girl! Will definitely request her again!”

“Sarah is warm, friendly, punctual and reliable. She's so kind to the pets she cares for and she always sends great updates while we're away. All the things you'd ever want in a cat sitter!”
“Chrissy was incredible! I was anxious about leaving my cat, especially because she’s skittish around people, but Chrissy went above and beyond to stay on contact with me and was so good with my cat. She’s wonderful!”

“Super duper dogwatch trooper! Provided regular updates and timely pics. Great attention to detail, remembering little quirks I told her about our dog. I’d say even nicer things, but I’d rather keep her a secret ;)”

“Ellie was very nice and arrived punctual on her initial visit to meet my cat Sinbad before the cat sitting was to begin. Though my cat tends to be skittish with most strangers, she knew to be quiet and not make sudden movements to make him feel at ease. And during her visits, he came out and didn't stay hidden, so he must have felt comfortable with her around. And most importantly, Ellie took the initiative to set up a follow up visit to return my house key to me after I had returned from my trip. I would definitely book Ellie again if she is available on any of my future trips away.”

“We LOVE Anhelika! She did such a great job watching our pup, Potter! And was super communicative! We will definitely ask her again the next time we go in a trip, and we know potter will be so excited!”

About: I've dogsat for weeks at a time for multiple families over multiple years! I also have had several cats, dogs, and lizards throughout my life. I am currently not working so I am available when needed! I love walks and park trips. If you’re in Whittier or know a place in your neighborhood there’s large fields to play in! It depends on the needs of the client, my most common household I look after, they are showdogs so they have specific meal criteria and excersize. I've handled pregnant cats and dogs. My cats I have now are pretty chill, they play outside sometimes but mostly just sit by the window and we play with their toys.
About: I have lived my whole life with animals of every size and shape. I currently have three young adult rescue dogs of medium size and an adult bearded dragon. My pets are my children and I always strive to give animals I have the best care possible. My husband and I love finding ways to continue training our dogs and enrich their lives. I’m happy to take on puppies, senior dogs, or any other animal you may need care for. I am a teacher and am available on weekends and nights during the school year. Once summer comes, I will be available most days, especially with far enough notice. When I come to a client’s home to care for a pet, I will always follow the instructions of the client. When the pets are at my house, their care will be a top priority. Frequent play time, walks, feeding, available water at all times, a fenced in backyard to use the bathroom, and lots of toys to play with!
“Kim is an exceptional dog sitter. Not only our dog was in a very good care with her but also our house. She did everything above and beyond our expectation. Kim even cook for our dog when she was being a picky eater while we were gone. Kim is always responsive and provided detail updates and pictures from every visit. She understands our dog needs and quickly bonds a close relationship with our dog and our dog loves her as well. Thanks to Kim, we can enjoy our vacation without worrying about our dog.”

“Maureen was an amazing kitty sitter for my 3 fur balls while I was away for a week. She posted cute picture updates and usually included a few words about their personalities each day so I could get my fix while traveling. Incredibly professional and I will be using her again in the future.”

About: My family and friends have entrusted me to take care of their pets many times these last few years. The last 3 summers I have been lucky enough to do long-term stays with my friend's 4 dogs and cat to help build my experience with pets. Additionally, my family has 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks of our own, so I am no stranger to larger dogs! I am currently working part-time on the weekends so my week is normally pretty free. Since I am an incoming college student, I have some commitments throughout the summer, but have no problem talking about those with clients! I will treat your pets as if they were my own and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. I know it can be a stressful time for them while your gone, so I hope to be a calming presence where they can relax and have fun!

“This was the first time I had booked Lauren to pet sit for me, and I would certainly use her again. She was very friendly when I first met her in person and I could tell that she was an animal lover. She was so nice, that in addition to making her daily trips to feed and water Sinbad, but she also watered some potted landscape plants for me that I bought right before my trip which had not planted in the ground. Both Sinbad and the plants were in very good condition when I returned home.”

Aynsley cat parents share their Rover experiences
It was wonderful having Kristy watch over our outdoor cats. She came every day we arranged with her, and we did not have to worry one bit whether our cats were being cared for during our absence. We weren’t sure if any of the cats would get close enough for her to get a picture, but our little Mandy cat stayed put for great pictures. Even Sheeva showed up and allowed her picture to be taken. We are thankful for Kristy’s attention.

She was the best. First time using rover and she made iteasy and was very helpful getting everything set up and arranged. We have a diabetic cat who needed special care at the last moment and she was able to handle it excellently. We were very scared of the situation because we were staying in the hospital for a few days while this was going on and Mo was able to settle our nerves and kept our little guy healthy. We will forever be grateful for the care she took of our cat during this time.
Miranda did an excellent job of looking over my cats while I was away. She communicated with me with each visit and touched based if anything seemed amiss. I greatly appreciated her looking after my cats while I was out of town, it gave me great peace of mind to know they were in such great care!
