“Karen did a wonderful job walking our dogs. We have one very high energy dog that can be difficult to walk until he releases energy and she handled him with such ease! Both of my dogs came back from each walk completely exhausted, it was perfect and exactly what we wanted! Karen was so lovely and we look forward to having her walk our dogs again!”

“I had an excellent experience with Amber meeting my dog for the first time. I loved receiving all of the thoughtful updates throughout out our booking - it was such a relief knowing that my dog was being looked after with such care. Amber is patient and attentive - she really went above and beyond with being sensitive of my dogs needs, especially when it comes to meeting new people. I'm looking forward to booking Amber again in the future.”

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, lizards, hamsters, and more. I’m not allowed to have any pets where I live now, so I have endless patience for everyone else’s pets. I miss having animals in my life so I’m grateful for the chance to keep your pets happy while you’re away! My schedule is very flexible. I work from home so I can go to clients’ homes and stay with pets for a couple hours or stop by a few times a day. I’m also available most weekends. I’m unable to care for pets in my home but at clients’ homes I plan to follow all their rules and spend as much time playing outside with dogs and playing inside with other animals as possible.

“Katie is amazing!! She handled my pups with care and leaves detailed reviews and good pics. She took them for good walks the past two days and gave them snacks afterwards. 10/10 would recommend her!”

About: I have two rescue dogs. Their personalities are opposite as night and day. One is very energetic and the other is a couch potato! Whether you have a high energy pup or calm one, your dog will find a friend here. My energetic pup knows when to stop playing if it’s not reciprocated in the first 15 minutes. I have a giant playpen and crate for dogs who need their alone time or is required by the parents. Those doors are always open. No need to bring yours. I separate all dogs while eating and let them out when they’re done. We mostly stay in the living room watching tv or outside. I have grown up with labs, chihuahuas and pit bulls. I have been dog/cat sitting for years for family and friends. I am fairly new to Rover. My fur family enjoys hiking and going to the park. We walk the neighborhood for 2 hrs a day. I am comfortable giving medicine. My dogs are my children and I take care of other animals like their mine. I worked as a manager for large department stores so I am very dependable and responsible. Thank you for your interest in me! I am currently working part time. My job is flexible. However, if you’ve booked me less than 48 hrs, we will have to agree on a good time for a drop off. I am able to be present with my animals majority of the day. If you request to board, make sure you bring everything your dog needs for a successful stay. Appropriate size collars/harness, training pads, etc. If your dog is an escape artist or doesn’t walk on a leash well, disclose that to me. So I can prepare myself before each walk and not be caught off guard. I also provide a quiet relaxing space for dogs. If your dog barks excessively and not the casual barking here and there, I would not be able to babysit them. Feel free to reach out to me at any time. I will do the same if there’s a question I’m not sure of.

About: My passion of caring for animals began well over a decade ago, when I started volunteering for local shelters and organizations in middle school. Since then, I've continued to grow my experience in pet care - whether through volunteer work or pet sitting - and have built great relationships with many local pet owners since. Very flexible schedule - weekdays and weekends! I am currently available mornings, afternoons, and evenings for check-ins, walks, feeding + water refills, etc. Let me know how I can help! I'm happy to work with pet owners on any special needs their pet may need assistance with during visits. Let me know how I can make your space comfortable for your pet while you're away.

“Holly is incredible with my girls, super patient and loving. Holly asks the right questions and really cares about their safety and well being. I'm so glad I was able to find her when i needed someone last minute. She has been a life saver!!”

About: Having multiple pets has been a part of my entire life, from the pets I had with my family to my own now. My first job ever was a professional care-taker at a boarding shelter for dogs. Now I walk and care for dogs part-time. My primary availability is during the week, with some weekend availability with enough advance. I work from home and am very flexible to accommodate changing schedules. I am comfortable crating your dog, taking them for walks, playing with them, providing basic care or anything else that you would like me to do for them.

I can also transport them to your veterinarian or groomer when you are not able to. Most importantly , I can give you peace of mind when you are away from them. Whether your pet has typical or special needs, I am here for you. I have 3 cats and 1 dog and have had a variety of animals throughout my life. I am currently working part time in the evenings so can be fully available daily for your pets walking, in home care, medical needs or transportation. I will care for them per you or your veterinarian's instruction.

“We just moved to the area with our rescue dog who has anxiety problems. Val has been so great with our dog’s issues and my dog mom neuroses! Our dog won’t go for walks or go to the bathroom with many people but she loves Val. Thank you Val!!!”

About: I've watched, walked and cared for numerous dogs and cats belonging to friends, relatives and neighbors throughout the years. I've volunteered with the Humane Society walking dogs of all breads large and small, young and old. I also have some experience walking special needs deaf dogs. Working with the Humane Society provided training above and beyond just checking on others pets. I will love your pets as if they were my own. I currently have a Chihuahua and a maine coon mix cat both of which are rescues. I grew up always having a cat or a dog and sometimes both. All of my pets have either been rescues I've personally helped to rescue or I have adopted from a shelter. Your home and fur babies will be in caring hands. I will send you daily pictures and updates to ease your mind. I love to get pictures of my fur babies when I'm away and I'm sure you would appreciate that as well. I work Full time and am off on the weekends and Mondays. I'm comfortable taking on a few walks and or home check-ins during my days off. I will not do late night walks for your pets safety as well as mine. I'm a very trustworthy and responsible individual who loves animals. Your pets security and trust is of the upmost importance to me. I will bring treats and water for dogs during their sniff Safari walks. For home check-ins I will feed, water, entertain and offer lots of love. I will follow any instructions given and am comfortable administering most medications your dog or cat may need. I will also scoop or clean a litter box if needed and pickup any potty mess in the yard when taking your dog out.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and taken care of them in full for my family, friends and neighbors. I love four legged furry friends; giving them walks, playing with them and making them feel comfortable. I have always adopted rescue dogs so have a good sense of how to take care of apprehensive dogs, as well as hyperactive or dogs that need more attention and a patient trainer. I have amateur experience training dogs and have learned tips from my sister who is an experienced dog trainer and dog walker. I have chickens at home and have cared for furry, scaled and feathered friends in the past, I love them all. I am patient and loving when it comes to taking care of animals and hope you will consider me to take care of your best friend(s)! My partner and I have recently lost our best furry friend and I would love a reason to get outside more often with my favorite animal (dogs!) or any animal at all. I currently work full time but am off on Sundays/Mondays as well as evenings. My job allows me to leave midday as needed. If I can plan ahead with a care schedule, I have no issue fitting walks/care as needed. I personally have always had free range dogs, but have experience with free ranging as well as crated dogs. I am comfortable working with contained pets as well; chickens, other birds, snakes, tarantulas etc.

“Emily is awesome! Gibbs absolutely loves her and looks forward to his walks every day. On the days she doesn’t come he will check the door repeatedly 😊 So happy we found Emily!”

About: Hi, I’m Maria! I’ve always been an animal lover and treat every pet like they’re my own. I have two cats myself (who I’m totally obsessed with), so I understand how important it is to leave your pets in good hands. Whether I’m going for a walk with your pup or keeping your cat company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for. I pay attention to the little things—every pet has their own personality, and I love getting to know what makes them feel comfortable and happy. Caring for cats is a daily routine for me, as I’m the proud owner of two feline companions. I delight in pampering them with treats and expressing my affection through play whenever there are toys at hand. I have two cats of my own who love being in my company, and I’ve frequently cared for my friends’ pets when they’re away. They affectionately refer to me as their pets’ honorary aunt.

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and have always had a passion for them. I’m so passionate, in fact, that I’m in my gap year before I start veterinary school next year! I have fostered over 20 dogs, so I am familiar and comfortable with a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I am currently the mom to a 1 year old dog and a senior dog, so I have first hand experience on the different needs and requirements for a happy and healthy dog! Additionally, I have personal experience in beginner puppy training, senior care, and handling reactive dogs. I am available 7 days a week at all hours. I just moved to Jacksonville a few weeks ago so am hoping Rover can help me meet some furry friends and create forever bonds! As a dog mom, I know first hand the anxiety that comes with having someone watch your pets, so I make sure to provide plenty of pictures, videos, and updates. I am very active and love to be outside so I can take your dog on as many (or as few) walks/runs as they want! Or if your dog isn’t active, we can chill in the AC! Due to my flexible schedule, I can provide both dog walking services and house sitting services (as well as overnight visits if needed)! My schedule allows for me to make your dogs comfort and safety my #1 priority! Due to having a reactive dog myself, I do not allow your animals in my own home for your dog’s safety and comfort! I am very tidy and organized, so I will treat your home with respect, and leave it cleaner than I found it!

“Pam arrived in time and Ralphie instantly loved her. Pam’s personality is awesome and she really knows how to make the pet feel comfortable. She took her time getting to know Ralphie and seemed to really enjoy walking with him. Ralphie seems to have had a great time and I think he really likes Pam.”

I have years of experience with a variety of dogs and their unique personalities. I am a teacher, so my schedule allows me to give a lot of attention to your dog, especially on the weekends and during the summer break. My husband and I own a house in Murray Hill. Our house has a fenced in backyard. There is also a park just a block from our house that is perfect for running around and playing fetch. We have a labradoodle, Olive, who loves playing with other doggos. We also have an indoor/outdoor cat, Lola, that tolerates being around dogs, as most cats do. Evenings, weekends, holidays, and summers offer me plenty of time to check in and be with your furry friends! “We have known Erika for over a decade and she is always our first choice when we need a pet sitter. She has extensive experience as a veterinary technician and we feel confident entrusting our pets to her care. Maria S.
“Maria is the biggest cat lover I know. She has an obvious care and love for animals to anyone she meets. She’s also extremely responsible and kind, and one of the only people I trust to come to my house when I’m out of town. I have a cat who has a lot of anxiety and pretty much hates everyone but my husband and I, and she is always so patient and loving towards her when we go out of town. She even lets her pet her now which is a huge deal if you know my cat. She will love and care for your pets as her own! I hate leaving my fur baby, but she makes me feel much more at ease.”

Teddy is wonderful with my pup, Lucy. She always gets so excited to see him and really enjoys their walks and playing fetch. Teddy is super punctual, always on time and prepared with leashes and bags. I know Lucy is in good hands when they go on their adventures.

Phillip was great! I reached out to him at the last minute and he responded quickly. he also came over to meet Sunny! He suggested we go for walk to Sunny’s favorite spots.
