“We were relieved when last minute we were able to get fast reliable friendly help with our baby Gus! She sent us pics and kept us updated. Thanks so much!”

“Trish visited my dogs twice to get to know them prior to her drop in visit. She communicated often during the visit and sent pictures of my dogs during both drop ins. I plan on booking with her again!”

“Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Thank you Jennie for working so hard for 3 straight days and restoring my faith in humans , there's still good ones out there! ❤ Rover, you just don't know what you have! Sincerely, Donna Matteson”

About: I was raised with pets. They are a part of the family. I did in home pet sitting for about 3 years. I can easily do so for you. I have spent the past summer traveling Europe dog and house sitting. In May I had the house sitter taking care of my babies do a boarding. He received a bad review. Please don't let a bad review scare you away. I am retired, so I will be home with the fur babies. My pets sleep in the bed with me, your's will be more than welcome. I live on a quiet street. Plus I do have a fenced backyard. If you prefer I stay at your home, I can do that also.

About: I love animals of all types and have been a dog owner my entire life. I have cared for animals of friends and family which included dogs, cats, and even a chinchilla. I am comfortable giving medications or special feeding instructions as I have had my own experience with my pets doing so. I will treat your animals like they are my own. Since I’m retired, I am able to be flexible and provide the services you need. I am retired, so I can accommodate your animal’s schedule and needs. We can coordinate what works best for your pet(s) so they can stay in their normal routine. I will make sure they get plenty of attention and love in your absence. I will ensure your pet is safe by treating them like one of my own. I am a pet owner myself and promise to take care of them and protect them as I would want my pets to be in my absence. This is something I take very seriously.

“Rachel was very good about texting me with daily reports on Kramer. Thanks, Rachel!”

About: Hi! I'm Rachel, I’ve spent years caring for my own pets and helping friends and family with theirs, and now I’m excited to offer that same love and attention to your furry family members! I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust, and I treat every animal like my own—with patience, kindness, and tons of belly rubs (if they’re into that). I do my best to make it an stress-free and comfortable experience for both you and your fur babies. I’m reliable, friendly, and genuinely care about the pets I look after. I have a 9-year-old chocolate lab named Roux—she’s very friendly and generally gets along with any pet. I do always take it slow when introducing her to new animals though to ensure things always go smoothly. I have open availability and have a reliable vehicle to be able to get to and from where I’m needed. Whether you need daily walks, drop-ins, or someone to hang out while you’re away I make sure your pet has the BEST time doing it! I’ve got plenty of toys to keep them entertained, and with living on 10 acres of land, there’s lots of space for them to run, play, and burn off some energy in a safe environment (but also can leash them based on each specific scenario). I’m also happy to stick to your pet’s routine, give updates and photos, and make sure they’re safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. When you book with me, I’ll always be upfront about my availability. I’m usually pretty open (as I work from home) unless I’m fully booked, and if I can’t make something work, I’ll let you know right away. I try to stay flexible and am happy to work with you to find a good time. I think it’s really important to connect before a booking—whether that’s meeting in person or hopping on a quick FaceTime. It helps me get to know your pet, understand their needs, and make sure they’re comfortable with me. That way, everything goes smoothly and you can feel confident while you're away. I highly recommend this with any sitter you choose! Okay, let’s chat—I’d love to meet your pet and learn how I can help! :) Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and caring for them. I’m someone who thrives on structure and responsibility, so scheduling walks, feedings, or check-ins is something I look forward to and easily plan my day around. Whether it’s early morning, midday, or evening, I make time for pet care like I would for any other important commitment—and it never feels like a chore. I love the mix of routine and connection that comes with spending time with pets. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment—whether the pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, keeping their routine consistent with feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications or special needs. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space, keep things clean and secure, and make sure pets feel at ease by sticking to their familiar environment. If pets are staying with me, I provide a cozy space, lots of attention, and regular updates so owners feel confident and connected. My goal is always to make the pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for—like they’re with family.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I am currently a full-time student-athlete at Florida Atlantic university but I am home for the summer, I can dog sit/walk 2x in the week and over the weekend. My schedule will be right fit for this job. Proper pet care also includes exercising your pet. Exercise is an important part of your pet’s mental, as well as physical, health. If you spend any time on social media, you know that all kinds of animals like to play such as this ball-playing turtle, this dog playing fetch by himself or this bird playing with a red cup. Pets also benefit from socialization, whether that’s regular interaction with you, having guests come over, or trips outside of the house. Expand their horizons and improve their people skills while helping them to safely experience new things!

“She helped us out watching our dog on short notice. So grateful for her care!”

“Amber was amazing! She let me know each time she was with my dogs and when she finished! She let me know how they were doing and send pictures! Would love to book with her again!”

About: Since childhood, I’ve always cared for dogs. After losing my beloved dog, I’ve longed to feel that special connection again, and I’m ready to give your pup the love they deserve. I work part-time, so I can take your dog out during the morning shift or lunch breaks, ensuring they get the attention they deserve while you’re at work. My home is pet-friendly with a secure, fenced yard where dogs can roam freely and safely. I provide the same care and attention when walking dogs in their own home, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved in a familiar environment.

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! We’re so lucky we found her! My fiancé and I were going to be out of town and we chose to have Stephanie drop in and check in on Toby twice a day. Toby can be a little be anxious and skittish around strangers. Upon our request she agreed on meeting him a couple of times in our presence to make sure that he would be comfortable around her. He loved her! She was so good with him and she sent the best pictures of them having so much fun together. We looked forward to all of her daily updates (twice a day with tons of pics and the cutest notes). Toby definitely loved her and she definitely gave our fur baby lots of love, cuddles and playtime. Definitely recommend her, she will love your fur baby like her own ?”

“Stanford was amazing with my dogs while I was away. He is very caring and truly took the best care of them. I have a golden doodle puppy and two Italian greyhound puppies all under 1 year old. He communicated each time he was at my house looking after them. I was worried about bufo toads in my lawn and he took it seriously which I really appreciate. He went above and beyond I will be using him again to care for my babies again.”

About: I have owned a large variety of dog breeds and sizes my whole life, and have years of experience whenever it comes to handling and caring for dogs. I thoroughly enjoy working with all kinds of dogs of all ages. I have also worked to train young puppies and have a senior dog currently! I am currently a college student, and I have a lot of free time. There are not any specific days that I am not free. I have a fenced in yard with a pool, and three small, friendly dogs. We live on a quiet street, and I often walk my dogs here multiple times a week. I ask that you bring your fur baby kennel trained, as if I need to go somewhere I’d prefer them in a crate.

“very flexible, great price, and very well with dogs”

About: I've helped care for not only pets, but also my younger siblings since a young age. I have a kitten named Shiva and my family recently cared for a mother and son pair of husky/German Shepherd mixed. Sadly, due to our situation at home, we couldn't keep the dogs with us. But, due to my love for animals, my friend recommended I apply to be a pet sitter on Rover. I have some experience with injured animals and caring for them. I also have experience working with other people's animals. My schedule tends to be pretty flexible. My schedule tends to be pretty flexible. At least one or two Thursday nights of each month i like to go home and spend time with my family. Due to my home situation, I won't be able to have animals in my home. Therefore, I won't be offering boarding or day care services in my home.

About: Will bathe and groom dogs, train, excersise, care for, and love. Dogs will go home satisfied, fed, and extremely happy. You will not regret it ! I will be available any time and any day of the week! Can take any size dog and any weight. I have experience with all breed types and all size doggy’s ❤️ II will be walking them, excersising them, and bathing them! They will all be treated special and with lots of attention and love! I am a stay at home dog momma, I just like to stay at home and care for others pets, I wish to own my own pet boarding business one day! I live in a very quiet area, not on a main road! My yard is not fenced but no dog will be off leash on my watch! I’ll make sure to have them on harnest and leash before even opening my door. I’ll ensure that they are always with me!

About: I've always had dogs my whole life. I've learned a lot about dog behaviour, training, healthcare and welfare from life experiences and from my long-term friend Jill Silver, who specialises in dog/animal behaviour, training, holistic animal healthcare, and raw feeding for dogs. My dogs are my family, and I will treat any dog in my care as such. I currently live and work on the property with my two dogs, and being that I'm looking to turn this business into a full-time job for myself, I would be on the property 24/7, and when I do go out, it is for no more than several hours at a time. Otherwise, my dogs and I miss each other too much. 😆 Although the five-acre property I'm currently staying at is fenced, it's important to note that nothing is entirely dog-proof. I have a separate fully fenced play area right outside my back door which offers plenty of room for your dog to take care of their business, and safely play off leash with my two dogs as well. While my dogs can roam freely within the property's boundaries, any client's dogs would need to be on a long leash attached to me around my waist during any time outside of the designated play area. This way, I can supervise their playtime with my dogs, ensure their safety, and also build a bond with your dog. Once a client's dog has had the opportunity to build a stronger connection with me over time, playtime outside of designated area can be off-leash, and only if I am confident in the dog's ability to come back when called and only if the owner is entirely comfortable in my ability to handle their beloved furry Freind.

I will be looking into starting the boarding after switching apartments with more lenient roommates! I will not only stop by and take care of your pup but I will also play with them so they don't get bored. Also, if interested I can also socialize them with my year and half old sweet GSD, she loves making new friends. I do find myself as a genuine and a trust worthy person.
