“Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Thank you Jennie for working so hard for 3 straight days and restoring my faith in humans , there's still good ones out there! ❤ Rover, you just don't know what you have! Sincerely, Donna Matteson”

About: Since I was a small girl Ive owned and cared for a range of animals, having three dogs a majority of my life along with other critters. I currently own exotic pets but have a long history with rescue animals! I currently am a part time employee at a medical office and college med student. With summer around the corner my day to day life slows down and I have more time to give back to the community I love! I currently am not allowed animals in my home due to my lease but I am more than willing to travel the distance for your pets needs!

About: I’ve been surrounded by furry friends since I was young. I’m trusted by friends and family to take care of their pets while they travel or figure out life changes. I’m diligent about brushing, cleaning and snuggling-whatever your pup needs, I’m on it! I currently work full time from 9AM-5PM on a four day schedule. In the early morning’s and evenings I am available for walks, play time, training reinforcement, as well as clean up and any additional help needed while you’re away. During the weekends- I’m available all day Saturday-Mondays for walks and plenty of enrichment time! I have a highly energetic dog to keep your pet company! If your pet does not do well with other animals, I am happy to accommodate as needed. With plenty of parks and hikes in the area, I can assure you we’ll take plenty of walks. I will crate your pet if needed for their own safety.

About: I’ve taken care of pets pretty much all of my life! I love animals and I make sure they feel safe and are taken care of. I’ve taken care of puppies, kittens, and senior animals. For senior pets I would massage them a lot due to their arthritis and for the babies I would make sure they are getting their proper food and naps while also prioritizing play time so they can learn and not feel lonely! I’ve had pets with special diets (mixing certain wet food for treats or special dietary needs). I am big on spending time with animals because they have feelings as well and keeping them safe is a priority! I am currently a nursing student with a busy schedule but as long as we can communicate we can make a schedule together! I do usually have two days off which are Wednesday and Friday (I usually use those days to study and I can fit more time in with pet care these days). Some weeks the schedule may be different but I will always be open about what my schedule is looking like. In my home I have an Australian Cattle Dog blue heeler. He has a lot of energy and a sensitive tummy he is on a routine with his food and has a special diet. I make sure he has enough outside time and play time due to his high energy but also make sure he gets his time to calm down and rest. For pets I have I taken care of for others I would make sure they are fed and have water while also spending time with playing and lots of pets!

About: Working in veterinary medicine, I can understand basic animal needs and care. I have been taking care of animals for over 10 years. I will treat your babies like they are my own I work two jobs, both in opposite directions, so to be able to housesit. And given a good amount of time to request days off to give your baby my full attention I prefer housesitting over boarding at my personal home, it’s easier for me, and I feel like the pets would prefer their own home over anyone elses

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, since I was a very young child, it ranges from cats dogs hamsters to even reptiles. All growing up I have always had dogs large and small and moving out of my parents house. I also got a cat of my own and have raised two animals by myself living out of my parents home for over 11 years now. I currently have an open schedule, I'm looking to go to school here in the spring time; but as of now I have a open schedule. This account is now shared between us, but my sister Kathy will be the primary caregiver and will be handling most of the communication, bookings, and day-to-day services. We both have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From long walks and playtime to feeding routines and giving lots of attention, we understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. We’re comfortable following specific instructions to make sure your pet stays happy, safe, and on their normal routine while you’re away. My sister, who you’ll be mainly interacting with, is reliable, patient, and genuinely loves animals. She has hands-on experience with pet sitting, walking, and making sure pets feel comfortable in new situations. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, calm companionship, or just someone to stick to their routine, she’s got it covered. We know how important trust is when it comes to your pets, so we’re committed to clear communication, updates, and giving you peace of mind. I am a full time nursing student at the moment. I have quite a busy schedule but I am always free to give my time for dogs and cats because they bring me so much joy. I am mostly free on weekends but I do offer a full Thursday as well. For Monday’s, I have Zoom meetings every week from 4:30pm-6:45pm so if that’s something I can work on while being with your pets, it works out! I can offer to take your pets for walks, or simply play with them in the yard, or just lay around and cuddle with them if they are the more relaxed kinds. I am not offering boarding at the moment, so any services I am offering, it will be held at your place set by your rules!

About: I have many years with animals always grew up around animals I also am experienced with taking care of special animal breeds like reptiles and guinea pigs. I love animals and just always have had a special bond with them!! I’m currently a say at home mom trying to make some extra money for my little one available all the time when needed with day advance notice I cannot take pets in my home due to pet policy for lease but will be able to take care of pets in clients home when needed

About: I have worked as a Pet Specialist for 20 years with P&G Pet Care and Royal Canin. I recently have been a Canine Palatability Specialist and have many years of experience in kennel management and veterinary care. Also well knowledged in animal behavior and puppy raising. I am available Monday - Friday From 7am - 6pm with night visits when needed. Some weekends 10- 6 when available. On lunch from 12 - 1. I offer a range of care from feeding, medications, potty breaks, socialization, walking, and grooming as well as behavior and puppy training visits. I have 5 small dogs of my own and they are indoor dogs that need cut and groomed very ofen. They are provided food ever AM for the day and eat at their own pace so they self manage. My dogs are open roam throughout the day also with access to a yard at their convenience (dog door). They go into their cages at night and when needed throughout the day. I medicate them with monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention and have them regularly checked and vaccinated by our local vet. I do trim nails and cut hair if needed.

About: I’ve owned pets my whole life! I currently have one cat who is like my child. I grew up caring for gerbils, dogs, Guinea pigs, rabbits and fish as well. I love animals and truly enjoy their company - I’d love to have the chance to meet and care for yours! I’m an attentive and affectionate owner and caregiver to all kinds of pets, both big and small. I have experience administering medication as well, my childhood cat was diabetic so I have lots of experience with injectable medication. I’m very flexible schedule wise! I currently work part time and set my own hours, but I mostly work evenings. I spend as much time with my pets as possible. I prefer afternoon bookings, but I can do nights as well. I currently can’t host in my own house due to animal restrictions! I’m available for drop-ins and house sitting. I’m a very clean person and always respect other peoples spaces. I’m very competent and have no issue following whatever instructions you give me regarding how you need your pet cared for.
