Cat Sitting in Avon Park

“Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Thank you Jennie for working so hard for 3 straight days and restoring my faith in humans , there's still good ones out there! ❤ Rover, you just don't know what you have! Sincerely, Donna Matteson”

About: I was raised with pets. They are a part of the family. I did in home pet sitting for about 3 years. I can easily do so for you. I have spent the past summer traveling Europe dog and house sitting. In May I had the house sitter taking care of my babies do a boarding. He received a bad review. Please don't let a bad review scare you away. I am retired, so I will be home with the fur babies. My pets sleep in the bed with me, your's will be more than welcome. I live on a quiet street. Plus I do have a fenced backyard. If you prefer I stay at your home, I can do that also.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I am currently a full-time student-athlete at Florida Atlantic university but can dog walk twice in the week and over the weekend. My schedule will be right fit for this job. Proper pet care also includes exercising your pet. Exercise is an important part of your pet’s mental, as well as physical, health. If you spend any time on social media, you know that all kinds of animals like to play such as this ball-playing turtle, this dog playing fetch by himself or this bird playing with a red cup. Pets also benefit from socialization, whether that’s regular interaction with you, having guests come over, or trips outside of the house. Expand their horizons and improve their people skills while helping them to safely experience new things!

About: I’ve had kitties my whole life and have loved every second of it! I’m available to watch kitties of all ages from kittens to the elderly. Do you have a physically disabled baby? So do I, so I have plenty of experience with that too! Playtime can be filled with fun or if they’d rather lay out in the sun of keep their distance that’s okay too! I have plans on Friday evenings after 9pm; however all other times are fine and I am more than able to accommodate special times as well. Please just ask. I make sure to give my kitty at least 30 minutes of dedicated playtime a day, and litter boxes are checked multiple times a day. Water bowls are cleaned daily and food is given twice a day to my indoor kitty.

About: Hi, My name is Morgan. Never in my life have had to live without animals. I love taking dogs to the dog park (if they're vaccinated :) ). I will be looking into starting the boarding after switching apartments with more lenient roommates! I will not only stop by and take care of your pup but I will also play with them so they don't get bored. Also, if interested I can also socialize them with my year and half old sweet GSD, she loves making new friends. I do find myself as a genuine and a trust worthy person. If you choose me to take care of your fur baby I can personally guarantee they will not only stay safe as well as happy!

About: Over the last few years, I've done sits from Colorado to Missouri to Florida! I have experience with basically all size and energy levels. It's been a blast getting to meet different people and grow closer to different pets! I’ll be with your dog almost 24/7! I take breaks often. Little walks here and there in addition to a long walk is a must. Of course playing mini catch inside. I work remote full time on my business as a B2B eCommerce web developer. My schedule is usually gym in the morning, work til about 7pm, hang around go for a walk, and then bed around 11pm. Also, I don’t go out nor party too often as I work so much, so your home will be in safe hands! I'm willing to help anyway I can. I built homes as a project manager in Cape Coral for 2 years, so I can help with basic house quirks as well. When it comes to caring for you home, open communication is key.

About: I have owned a large variety of dog breeds and sizes my whole life, and have years of experience whenever it comes to handling and caring for dogs. I thoroughly enjoy working with all kinds of dogs of all ages. I have also worked to train young puppies and have a senior dog currently! I am currently a college student, and I have a lot of free time. There are not any specific days that I am not free. I have a fenced in yard with a pool, and three small, friendly dogs. We live on a quiet street, and I often walk my dogs here multiple times a week. I ask that you bring your fur baby kennel trained, as if I need to go somewhere I’d prefer them in a crate.

About: I've have two dogs of my own, one is a blue heeler/ rottweiler named Tak and the other is a Vizla whos name is Haruko. Which means sunlight child in Japanese. He has the more golden glowing eyes! I also have been around dogs most of my life, my partners mom got us into volunteering at The Bully Project and we go and walk the dogs just because.My partners mom use to work there too. I also grew up with close to around 20-30 cats at once when I was a little girl, I was always so use to being surrounded by them in my yard and hanging out with them as much as I possibly could. Ive always been real sensitive to animals and their feelings, it's literally a sixth sense. I was currently managing and running my own professional wedding photography business but have slowed down drastically to focus on the little things. Im interested in dog/cat sitting and getting into learning how to grow a garden. Im wanting to take a huge break from social media and work more in the physical world. I also have two dogs of my own so its always been in my routine to care my my pets and take care of them. I have a huge open availability this whole year. I don't recommend having them stay at my own home just because of how high energy my Vizsla is. I do however recommend I come to your home to watch them. I promise to make sure your pets are comfortable with me there, make sure they go outside as frequently as needed to go to the bathroom, take medication, have cuddles, and watch for all the little things. Even keep the active on commands/tricks if they use any, that way they are consistently engaged. Im always outside the entire time with my dogs even though we have a fenced in yard because I want to make sure they don't dig under the fence and escape and that they are truly looked after in the best possible way.

About: I am a teacher so I have a ton of availability around the summer time and all holidays! I would love to show your babies love when you aren’t able! I am a teacher, but I am open to long weekends and afternoons if needed! Around the holidays I have even more time open to be the sitter you need. I am not able to look after your pets in my own home, but I am willing to travel in order to care for them in a comfortable environment!

About: I’ve taken care of multiple animals since I was young! I have experience with your average house pets and exotic pets. I’m a vet tech so I’m more then capable of feeding walking and medicating if needed. I’m currently working as a vet tech but have plenty of time to take care of your fur baby during the day, mornings, and nights. I love to play with all the fur babies. I am very respectful of clients wishes. I can play, crate, or even trim nails and give “spa days” if needed.

About: I have cared for many pets my whole life! I’ve taken in feral litters of cats and helped raise them until they were able to be adopted, I have cats, and help with the care of 4 dogs of varying sizes. I have had cats and all types of dogs growing up! I love making sure furry family feels loved, and gets taken care of. I am just starting out, however Rover is my full time job. I use this platform so I can still care for my little brother on the weekends. Some people have help with Rover, but I am working solo so please be patient with me. I have a fenced in portion of the yard just for our dogs to run around as they please, they have set meal times and have constant access to love and snuggles! My cats also get all the love and playtime they want.
