Cat Sitting Avon Park

“Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Thank you Jennie for working so hard for 3 straight days and restoring my faith in humans , there's still good ones out there! ❤ Rover, you just don't know what you have! Sincerely, Donna Matteson”

About: i love hanging out and getting to know animals! bonding and being able to connect with animals is something i’ve always enjoyed doing and i feel like i do it quite well! i love spending time with animals in my free time and being able to bond and make them happy. i love keeping them entertained and watching them play with eachother. i have a fenced yard and have two pups of my own that love to play and love being walked too! i wouldn’t bring them to the house unless allowed though!

About: Since I was a small girl Ive owned and cared for a range of animals, having three dogs a majority of my life along with other critters. About: My lifelong, hands-on experience caring for animals of many kinds. I bred our family poodle, assisted during the birth of her puppies, helped raise them, and placed them in loving homes with family friends. Over the years, I’ve cared for guinea pigs, fish, sugar gliders, cats, and dogs of many breeds and sizes. I’ve even rescued baby birds and provided around-the-clock care until they were healthy enough to be released back into the wild. I’ve also helped several family members teach their dogs important skills, including potty training and coming when called. I had a dog by my side for most of my life until my beloved fur baby recently passed away. While I’m not ready to adopt another pet, I would love to responsibly fill that space in my heart by providing dependable, attentive, and loving care to other people’s pets. I currently work at my part-time job two days a week. Outside of that schedule, I’m very flexible and can easily adjust my availability to meet each pet parent’s needs. I’m always happy to have a conversation about your pet's specific routine and schedule so we can create a care plan that works well for everyone. I do not currently have any pets in my home, which means your pet will be my priority and receive plenty of individual attention. Although I do not have a fenced-in backyard, dogs will receive multiple leashed walks throughout the day, and there is also have a dog park in my neighborhood that can be used with your permission. For cats, I can provide litter boxes and a peaceful environment where they can settle in comfortably. My home is clean, organized, and pet-proofed. I do not have children in the home, and potentially unsafe items are kept neatly put away. Pets are welcome on my furniture because I believe they are family—while they’re staying with me, my home is their home.

About: I’m not going to sugar coat anything I’m no pet trainer, but I can most certainly be there when you need the help! Need your pets cared for while you’re away? Or your house? Give me a call! Currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to care of your pets and or homes, I am available Monday to Sunday at anytime. I have been around animals (mainly dogs) my whole life. Animals just like people have emotions it’s just our job as a pet owner to know what they need, that’s what I’m here for.

About: We love animals, are very attentive, send videos and updates on their stay, and I also have a veterinary technology degree! We’re very comfortable administering meds or special needs animals! :) I own my own cleaning business, so I make my own schedule, and am able to be home, to tend to your adorable fur babies! Our yard is 3/4 fenced in, so we walk all pups 4-6 times a day. We are very hands on and love to go on walks around our super cute neighborhood.

About: I’ve been surrounded by furry friends since I was young. I’m trusted by friends and family to take care of their pets while they travel or figure out life changes. I’m diligent about brushing, cleaning and snuggling-whatever your pup needs, I’m on it! I currently work full time from 9AM-5PM on a four day schedule. In the early morning’s and evenings I am available for walks, play time, training reinforcement, as well as clean up and any additional help needed while you’re away. During the weekends- I’m available all day Saturday-Mondays for walks and plenty of enrichment time! I have a highly energetic dog to keep your pet company! If your pet does not do well with other animals, I am happy to accommodate as needed. With plenty of parks and hikes in the area, I can assure you we’ll take plenty of walks. I will crate your pet if needed for their own safety.

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, since I was a very young child, it ranges from cats dogs hamsters to even reptiles. All growing up I have always had dogs large and small and moving out of my parents house. I also got a cat of my own and have raised two animals by myself living out of my parents home for over 11 years now. I currently have an open schedule, I'm looking to go to school here in the spring time; but as of now I have a open schedule. As approaching your home, I will assess the environment and the fur baby when I get there and calmly assure the animal that I'm there to help and to love for them as their humans do.

About: I have 10 years of professional dog training experience. I trained in all positive reinforcement. I trained all breeds of all ages. I’m also skilled in walk and trains. I also have a great knowledge of food. I can clip or dremel nails and brushing. I am currently working part time at home and have plenty of time to Train, walk or watch you pet. I can’t wait to meet your pet. My extensive knowledge of dog and cat care will give my clients the peace of knowing I am capable of providing safe and loving care for their pet. Safety is my #1 goal.
