“Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Thank you Jennie for working so hard for 3 straight days and restoring my faith in humans , there's still good ones out there! ❤ Rover, you just don't know what you have! Sincerely, Donna Matteson”

“Brenda was absolutely the best. She followed our requests to the fullest. Showed concern when our very shy cat did not show himself. Notified us of all visits and provided photos daily. Will certainly use Brenda in the future when the need arises. Brenda is certainly an A+ pet sitter. Thanks Brenda!!!”

“Veronica did an outstanding job! Our cat was taken care of extremely well. She even went beyond what was required to make sure our cat didn’t feel as stressed. Our cat is older and doesn’t always like strangers, Veronica made her feel comfortable.”

About: I love animals of all types and have been a dog owner my entire life. I have cared for animals of friends and family which included dogs, cats, and even a chinchilla. I am comfortable giving medications or special feeding instructions as I have had my own experience with my pets doing so. I will treat your animals like they are my own. Since I’m retired, I am able to be flexible and provide the services you need. I am retired, so I can accommodate your animal’s schedule and needs. We can coordinate what works best for your pet(s) so they can stay in their normal routine. I will make sure they get plenty of attention and love in your absence. I will ensure your pet is safe by treating them like one of my own. I am a pet owner myself and promise to take care of them and protect them as I would want my pets to be in my absence. This is something I take very seriously.

“Thank you Rachel for your attention and care of our cats! You were great with our cats!”

About: I was raised with pets. They are a part of the family. I did in home pet sitting for about 3 years. I can easily do so for you. I have spent the past summer traveling Europe dog and house sitting. In May I had the house sitter taking care of my babies do a boarding. He received a bad review. Please don't let a bad review scare you away. I am retired, so I will be home with the fur babies. My pets sleep in the bed with me, your's will be more than welcome. I live on a quiet street. Plus I do have a fenced backyard. If you prefer I stay at your home, I can do that also.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I am currently a full-time student-athlete at Florida Atlantic university but can dog walk twice in the week and over the weekend. My schedule will be right fit for this job. Proper pet care also includes exercising your pet. Exercise is an important part of your pet’s mental, as well as physical, health. If you spend any time on social media, you know that all kinds of animals like to play such as this ball-playing turtle, this dog playing fetch by himself or this bird playing with a red cup. Pets also benefit from socialization, whether that’s regular interaction with you, having guests come over, or trips outside of the house. Expand their horizons and improve their people skills while helping them to safely experience new things!

About: I’ve had kitties my whole life and have loved every second of it! I’m available to watch kitties of all ages from kittens to the elderly. Do you have a physically disabled baby? So do I, so I have plenty of experience with that too! Playtime can be filled with fun or if they’d rather lay out in the sun of keep their distance that’s okay too! I have plans on Friday evenings after 9pm; however all other times are fine and I am more than able to accommodate special times as well. Please just ask. I make sure to give my kitty at least 30 minutes of dedicated playtime a day, and litter boxes are checked multiple times a day. Water bowls are cleaned daily and food is given twice a day to my indoor kitty.

About: Hi, My name is Morgan. Never in my life have had to live without animals. I love taking dogs to the dog park (if they're vaccinated :) ). I will be looking into starting the boarding after switching apartments with more lenient roommates! I will not only stop by and take care of your pup but I will also play with them so they don't get bored. Also, if interested I can also socialize them with my year and half old sweet GSD, she loves making new friends. I do find myself as a genuine and a trust worthy person. If you choose me to take care of your fur baby I can personally guarantee they will not only stay safe as well as happy!

“Trish is a very rare pet sitter, someone who has a passion for animals. She actually cares about the pets she is responsible for. She dedicates time to find all of our cats, who hide very well I might add. She brings toys for them, she brushes them, she loves on them. Our cats almost hate for us to return from vacation as they miss Trish! Her communication with us is amazing. She is very responsible! We would never trust anyone else but Trish with our pets!”

“She was very friendly, affectionate and patient towards Roscoe. He was timid and shy but gradually opened up. I was provided updates and photos. Will definitely use her services again. Very pleased.”

Little walks here and there in addition to a long walk is a must. Of course playing mini catch inside. I work remote full time on my business as a B2B eCommerce web developer. My schedule is usually gym in the morning, work til about 7pm, hang around go for a walk, and then bed around 11pm. Also, I don’t go out nor party too often as I work so much, so your home will be in safe hands! I'm willing to help anyway I can. I built homes as a project manager in Cape Coral for 2 years, so I can help with basic house quirks as well. When it comes to caring for you home, open communication is key.

I also have two dogs of my own so its always been in my routine to care my my pets and take care of them. I have a huge open availability this whole year. I don't recommend having them stay at my own home just because of how high energy my Vizsla is. I do however recommend I come to your home to watch them. I promise to make sure your pets are comfortable with me there, make sure they go outside as frequently as needed to go to the bathroom, take medication, have cuddles, and watch for all the little things. Even keep the active on commands/tricks if they use any, that way they are consistently engaged. Im always outside the entire time with my dogs even though we have a fenced in yard because I want to make sure they don't dig under the fence and escape and that they are truly looked after in the best possible way.
