About: What sets me apart is over 10 years of hands on experience caring for my own dogs. I’ve been through every stage of a pup’s life from energetic, curious puppies to the tender care senior dogs need. I understand the patience, consistency, and love it takes to keep dogs happy and healthy. Because of this, I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.” Right now, I have plenty of free time which means I can give your pet my full attention.I enjoy making pet care part of my daily routine from morning walks to playtime and cuddles throughout the day. Having the flexibility in my schedule allows me to keep pets on their normal routines and make sure they always feel cared for and comfortable. In my home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by giving them a calm space, regular walks, and plenty of playtime and affection just like I do with my own dogs. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible so they feel right at home. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick to the pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and rest. My goal is always to keep pets happy, loved, and stress free, whether they’re with me or staying in their own familiar environment.

“Perfect farm get-a-way for my pooches! Jennifer and Tevin were great with my dogs. They are very knowledgeable with training and breeding, and happy to share their knowledge. This visit served as a meet and greet for our future boarding opportunities/ staycations for my dogs and it served us well, knowing my dogs fit in and I can be at ease knowing they will be well taken care of, with freedom to explore and have a comfy place like a part of the family.”

About: Hello my name is Kaylin, I am from Ohio and grew up around animals, especially dogs/cats. Nextdoor was a Veterinary hospital where I sought out volunteering in the interest of helping animals. As a child, I imagined I would work with animals in some way. When I was 6 years old, I decided to brush our Jack Russel Terrier’s teeth with a toothbrush! I have always treated our pets as family members. After graduating high school, I moved to Northern California for 11 years where I attended a junior college and started working with Rover. In 2017, I received a pet grooming certification after a 9 week advanced course from The West Coast Grooming Academy in Pasadena, CA. I have taken dog walking/training courses while also volunteering for a local animal rescue foundation! We recently moved here to Sebring and I am excited to be offering my services here. Independently I have gained work as a mobile pet groomer and have previously been employed at a Petco grooming salon. Because of my love for animals, I assure you any pets in my care will have a positive experience. Thank you in advance for reviewing my profile and I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 I am available anytime of the week to care for your pet/pets as I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to do walks, drop ins dog boarding and house sitting. I love making time to care for pets. I will provide exactly what your fur baby needs including any special requests and make sure they are happy and comfortable. I can provide daily walks if you would like that for your pet as well.
About: I have been caring for dogs for over 20 years. My commitment to dogs, no matter their age, comes from the fact that I love them and I love working with them. Older dogs require a different kind of care, a little calmer, more established routines, puppies are more active, patience and lots of activity. It is important to me the routine that the owner describes for their pet, following their instructions is very important. It is a commitment to take care of a pet, I work from home so I can adapt according to the needs of the pets I agree to take care of. Walks, running on my property (+ 1 Acre) 1 hour of indoor play or more if required. Our property is fenced, our routines are established by our pets, so all security is very important to us, they will be living inside the house with air conditioning and always under my supervision. The walks will be done on a leash and according to the needs of the animal, water is essential, as well as the hours of the same. The instructions of the parents are very important to me, they will always be followed.
About: I have been a dedicated dog owner since I was 23 years old, and caring for my own dog has given me daily hands-on experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic training, and maintaining a safe and structured environment. I understand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident and secure when leaving their dog with someone else. I offer a calm home environment with personalized attention, and I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure safety and comfort. I share my home with my own dog, Dobby, a 7-year-old neutered male pitbull. He is calm, friendly, and well-socialized. For everyone’s safety, I require up-to-date vaccinations and always schedule a meet & greet before confirming bookings to make sure both dogs are comfortable together. I prioritize supervision and a structured environment at all times. My goal is to make every dog feel relaxed, cared for, and truly at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I am home most of the time. Dogs in my care are rarely left alone and receive consistent supervision, scheduled walks, playtime, and structured feeding routines. I prioritize providing a calm and stable environment where your dog will feel safe and attended to throughout the day. I live in a house with a securely fenced yard where dogs can safely play and exercise. My home environment is calm, clean, and structured. I share my home with my neutered, well-socialized dog, and all interactions are supervised. If needed, I am able to separate dogs to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. I require up-to-date vaccinations and always schedule a meet & greet prior to confirming bookings to ensure a good fit.

If at your house, I will follow your house rules and make sure they are still monitored so they are safe
“Raquel was so great with my pup! He tends to get anxious when at a new place and I could tell he felt comfortable. She sent me a picture of him wrapped up in a blanket and he was a happy pup upon my return. This is my first time leaving him outside of family, and I felt at ease with Raquel! :)”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. From puppy all the way up to old age. I love them and I treat them as if part of my family. We go for walks daily. We go to the park and play a few times a week. And When I had My St. Bernard she used to love when I would take her swimming at the beach!! I work from home so your loved one WILL NOT be without attention!! I will be able to pet and love on them throughout the day as well as let them out to go potty regularly! We also will go for daily walks after work and to the park if time allows. Whether your pet thrives on active walks, playful energy, or just quiet companionship, they will enjoy a relaxing, boutique stay tailored entirely to their normal routine. I know how tough it is to be away from your fur baby, so I am fully committed to keeping you connected with photos, videos, and text updates as often as you prefer. For your convenience, I also offer same-day appointments and make every effort to accommodate your schedule. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I primarily work remotely and enjoy a flexible schedule, so I'm generally available most days/nights when needed. I can also be available with little or no notice assuming no prior committments. I have an open grass yard in both the front and back of my property, and I enjoy spending time outside. I'm very open to keeping pet owners as informed as possible and am happy to keep you up to date with photo logs throughout the day.
“Great sitter. Excellent communication with updates and pics. Sophie had a great time. Wayne's dog (Blair) is a sweetheart and perfect host. Sophie looks forward to her next visit. A+”

About: Ever since I was young I did not only taking a liking to all animals, as I found they too took a liking to me. Sometimes I could see pieces of myself in their souls. From then on I've been infatuated with helping them. That's become quite the task as I'm a mother now of 2. Having your own "pets" is just having a bigger family in my eyes. I've always been the friend that takes in pet guests so they can go out of town. Or house sit if necessary beings all the different types. I figured why not make a job of it!! Pet care is extremely important! I use this time daily even for snuggle time to make sure no one even our own furries are left out. It fits in just like breakfast. It's extremely important and can become very meditative. I treat guest pets with as much love and freedom as our own. I'm in a very wooded area and our pup never ventures too far and guides the other dogs around and plays with them to get them back in. He's very clever. However I would never let a guest be unleashed while unattended. While your away I like to take all opportunities to improve! Unleash time is a HUGE start and is always impressive. These simple tasks once mastered can save you pups life if ever left unattended unleashed in a new scary place. I intend to help even if it's for one day we can work on just having fun and playing inside and talking walks in the outdoors together! I am one for taking photos and sending them to let you know how much fun they are having, for you to have yours!

I’m comfortable with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors, and I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I do school at home, which allows me to take frequent breaks to care for pets throughout the day. I’m usually home, so your dog won’t be left alone, and I make sure they get plenty of attention, love, and exercise. I provide a safe and loving environment for pets in my home. Your dog will be supervised at all times, cared for with attention and affection, and given plenty of playtime and walks. I make sure each pet feels comfortable, happy, and like part of the family while in my care. To make sure every pet has a safe and happy stay, I can only host dogs who are spayed/neutered and not in heat. This helps keep things calm, fun, and stress-free for all the pups in my care. Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 149 sitters in Avon Park, 92% respond to messages in under an hour.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
