About: I have taken care of a variety of animals, since I was a very young child, it ranges from cats dogs hamsters to even reptiles. All growing up I have always had dogs large and small and moving out of my parents house. I also got a cat of my own and have raised two animals by myself living out of my parents home for over 11 years now. I currently have an open schedule, I'm looking to go to school here in the spring time; but as of now I have a open schedule. As approaching your home, I will assess the environment and the fur baby when I get there and calmly assure the animal that I'm there to help and to love for them as their humans do.

Mikayla was awesome. She was very thoughtful, asked questions, and made sure I had some cute pictures of my fur babies. It was a short notice trip. Mikayla was prompt, spent quality time with my dogs, made sure they were comfortable and taken care of. I would recommend her to anyone. She took care of 4 different dogs while I was gone, without any problems

About: I am my friends and family’s go to dog/cat-sitter. I’ve began taking care of pets regularly within the past 6 years. I’m happy to walk, feed and bathe pets, as well as any other task requested of me. :) I’m open and available everyday to petsit and dog walk. I work from my laptop Sat-Thurs from 12pm-8pm EST aside from pet duties ❤️ If you don’t mind my remote work, I’m happy to pet sit! When walking dogs, I make sure the harness and leash are fully secure. I double check doors all the time to make sure pets don’t escape. I can gently crate dogs. I also walk my own cats on a leash or in a stroller. I put them on a harness to ensure they don’t escape when carrying them or while they’re in the stroller.

Claire did a great job with the 2 visits to care for my cats this week while I was on a "staycation" nearby. My 2 cats did some hiding (no surprise) but the older one did come out on the 2nd visit and showed his face! Claire will be back soon and I have full confidence in leaving my babies under her care while I am away!

I am currently working from home 3 days per week which gives me the time and availability required. My daughter is 17 and will be helping me so that someone is always here to provide the love and care needed. Between my daughter and myself we are able to go to the clients home as often as they need us to. About: What sets me apart is my reliability, awareness, and attention to detail. I’m used to staying calm under pressure and paying close attention to my surroundings, which translates directly into keeping your pet safe on every walk. I’m comfortable handling strong, energetic dogs as well as more timid or older pets, and I always prioritize consistency, safety, and clear communication with owners. I work full-time night shifts (6 PM–6 AM) about 14 days a month, which gives me plenty of free time during the day, as well as before and after work. This allows me to give pets the attention they deserve—whether that’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I enjoy being active with animals and making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for any pet. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, and any specific instructions from the owner. I make sure the environment is secure, clean, and free of hazards, and I always keep a close eye on pets during walks or visits. I respect my client’s home, maintain clear communication, and ensure pets feel comfortable and stress-free while in my care.

About: I have cared for many pets my whole life! I’ve taken in feral litters of cats and helped raise them until they were able to be adopted, I have cats, and help with the care of 4 dogs of varying sizes. I have had cats and all types of dogs growing up! I love making sure furry family feels loved, and gets taken care of. I am just starting out, however Rover is my full time job. I use this platform so I can still care for my little brother on the weekends. Some people have help with Rover, but I am working solo so please be patient with me. I have a fenced in portion of the yard just for our dogs to run around as they please, they have set meal times and have constant access to love and snuggles! My cats also get all the love and playtime they want.

About: Working in veterinary medicine, I can understand basic animal needs and care. I have been taking care of animals for over 10 years. I will treat your babies like they are my own I work two jobs, both in opposite directions, so to be able to housesit. And given a good amount of time to request days off to give your baby my full attention I prefer housesitting over boarding at my personal home, it’s easier for me, and I feel like the pets would prefer their own home over anyone elses

About: I’ve owned pets my whole life! I currently have one cat who is like my child. I grew up caring for gerbils, dogs, Guinea pigs, rabbits and fish as well. I love animals and truly enjoy their company - I’d love to have the chance to meet and care for yours! I’m an attentive and affectionate owner and caregiver to all kinds of pets, both big and small. I have experience administering medication as well, my childhood cat was diabetic so I have lots of experience with injectable medication. I’m very flexible schedule wise! I currently work part time and set my own hours, but I mostly work evenings. I spend as much time with my pets as possible. I prefer afternoon bookings, but I can do nights as well. I currently can’t host in my own house due to animal restrictions! I’m available for drop-ins and house sitting. I’m a very clean person and always respect other peoples spaces. I’m very competent and have no issue following whatever instructions you give me regarding how you need your pet cared for.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Babson Park stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Babson Park. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
