About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of many different types of dogs and cats as well as volunteered at Furkids cat shelters. In addition, I tend to cats myself and also tend to chickens that I own. I am a current nursing student and have spent years not only babysitting but also volunteering at multiple senior living centers and have a soft spot for older patients 😊❤️ I hope to be the sitter you can rely and be comfortable with as you take days away🫶 I can easily fit pet care into my routine through all my current nursing classes being online and the majority of my day being to aid in taking care of animals :) taking care of pets will include lots of care and attention, i enjoy primping and brushing if needed as well as lots of playing! i can be energetic for playful pets and relaxed for more timid pets, whatever fits best with your pet’s personality

Liberty is a fantastic and thorough sitter. She provides great updates with lots of detail, leaving us comforted knowing our cats are well-taken care of while we’re away. She goes above and beyond in every way. With each visit, we get so many videos and photos of our fur babies, which I love because I miss them dearly! She also asks great questions to ensure she provides the best care. She plays with each cat both together and individually to make sure they all get one-on-one love and attention. She truly knows how to go the extra mile. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our kitties!

About: Hey there, call me Jessy! I have 5 years of professional animal care experience under my belt (read more about it below!) and I have been petsitting (not on Rover) off and on for the past 3 years. I have experience caring for many animals, including but not limited to: dogs, cats, small animals (rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc.), reptiles, amphibians, bugs, and more. I joined Rover because I want to offer affordable and trustworthy pet care and housesitting to the wonderful people here in my community. I know how stressful and chaotic life can be, and sometimes there are situations where we can not be with our beloved pets as much as we would like to. I am here to give you peace of mind revolving around your pet while you attend to your business - without breaking your wallet. Why should you choose me? I have always been an animal person, practically since birth. My family had dogs, cats, and fish while I was growing up. Back then, I wanted to be a veterinarian or dog trainer, and I loved teaching our dogs basic obedience and simple tricks using only their usual kibble. This love for animals (and strengthening their relationships with their humans) pushed me into becoming a Kennel Tech at my local animal shelter as soon as I could. I worked there for 4 years, and learned so much during my time there. During a typical day, I would take care of either dogs, cats, or intake for the day. "Dog days" entailed cleaning and resetting 100+ dog runs, taking time to ensure dogs were walked, put into exercise yards, fed according to their individualized diets, and more. "Cat days" included administering cat meds (oral, topical, and injection), cleaning up after anywhere from 40-200 cats at a time, feeding them, taking time to feed cats with specialized diets, and more. Intake days included temperament-testing new animals, vaccinating them against kennel cough and rabies, bathing and treating them for any fleas/illnesses/injuries, etc.... every day was different, but there was no shortage of work to be done for the fur babies! We were a dog/cat shelter, but there were times when we would take in other animals in need. There were times that we were caring for koi fish, bunnies, quail, chickens, ducks, goats, and even baby opossums. After working at the animal shelter, I spent a year working for my local pet store as their Aquatic Animal Specialist! This meant that that I was responsible for all aquatic life in-store (including but not limited to: freshwater and saltwater fish, crabs, turtles, frogs, snails, and more). At the time, we did not have an Animal Care Manager, so I would also take care of all the other animal life in-store (cats, small animals, reptiles, bugs, and more.) I developed a strong love for betta fish while working there - they're an extremely intelligent and underrated fish! During this time, I saw and learned so many things. I am ready to apply what I have learned as a professional animal caregiver to caring for your beloved pets at home. When you book with me, you'll never have to worry about whether or not your pet will be mentally and physically fulfilled, while being taken care of by someone with years of experience and nothing but their best interests in mind. In between these and other careers, I have petsat for all kinds of animals owned by friends and family, and have loved every second of it. Feel free to read my reviews, or ask for extra references! I'm currently working a flexible part time job, so my schedule would be centered around your pet's needs! Got an early riser who needs a potty break first thing in the morning? No problem! Do you have a special needs fella who needs let out to potty more frequently? I'll make sure to schedule extra check- ins! Does your cat have a special nighttime routine that he MUST complete with someone every night? I know how it is, and I've got you! I will care for your pets in the comfort of YOUR home, where your pet is already familiar with the environment and likely to feel the most comfortable when you are away. I will arrive at your home, feed and water your pets as needed, give them parent-approved treats and enrichment (play), and make sure they are in a safe place with access to water before I leave. Pets who need to be crated will be crated. Upon leaving, if given a house key, I will lock up for your pet's and home's protection. You will receive a minimum of one photo with every check in, though I love to take videos and lots of pics so you're likely to receive more. I am always happy to give an update whenever asked. You know your pet better than anyone, so all care and any "extras" such as treats, toys, or chews will only be given with pet parent consent and instruction. Your pet's safety and happiness as well as your peace of mind will always be my top priority.

Allison did drop-in visits for my dogs several times a day while I was out of town for a long weekend. From the meet and greet they instantly warmed to her and I knew they would be in good hands. Allison sent regular pictures and updated me on all their antics. It was great to know that they were happy and being well cared for!

About: I have been in the industry since I was 15 years old!! I have always loved all animals and especially love dogs and horses. I have worked at vets, boarding facilities, breeders, and have owned dogs big and small my whole life! Your pups will be so loved while they are with me!! I also have trained all of my pups myself :) I am a teacher, so during the year I get up early to spend time with the pups and let them play and do their business. I set them up for the day and then when I get back at 3 they are let out again and it’s play time!! I have breaks and summers off which also helps with my schedule as well! I have a fenced in yard with 3 pups who are my pride and joy!! They love everyone and there ages range from 1-8 years old!! We are crating our one year old but the rest of the pups are so well behaved that they have free roam of the house! My goal is to make them feel loved and comfortable!! They all have access to dog beds or the couch and a basket of toys available for them to play with with each other or us!! We also love to take walks and play in the back yard for hour!! They have a set dinner time also.

About: I’ve taken care of all animals, and I love it! Big dogs, small dogs, cats, and senior pets! I have cared for energetic puppies to senior dogs that need more care than most. I’m currently working full time at my big girl job from 8:00am to 5:00pm at an office setting. So I am available before work, and then after 5:00pm. If you are located in the Lumpkin county area, then I can stop by to check on your fur babies during my lunch break at 12:00pm. Other than work, my schedule is flexible. I always take into account the safety of animals, and am flexible with whatever the pet owner does in order to keep their fur babies comfortable while they are away! I can give medications, take them for walks, feed them the diet they are used to, clean litter boxes, and play with them outside.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for years for all size dogs. I have extensive experience with large dogs especially; neighbors, friends, and family rely on me to look after theirs quite often. I have a lot of experience with walking, sitting, and bathing, and no size is too big or small for me to handle. Aside from dogs, i’ve been able to pet sit for cats and fish. I also have a wide knowledge about plants when it comes to house sitting! I’m currently a college student, so weekends and weekdays are good with me! I’m not currently available for boarding due to my housing but would love to pop over to say hi to your pet! For sitting in your home or even coming over for walks/play time, I’d love spending time with your pets. I’ll make sure they get plenty of play time, attention, and engagement. Your pet will get my full attention the entire time (and lots of love).

We rebooked Haylee during our family trip, and she did a perfect job. One of our cats needed medication and thoughtful care, which she handled excellently. Haylee is always diligent, responsive, and highly responsible. We will definitely ask her to take care of our two kitties on our next family trip.
