“Morgan was wonderful from start to finish. We booked a drop-in visit first so Coco could meet her before committing to house sitting, and it turned out to be a perfect match. Coco is the shyest dog in the world and is usually very hesitant around new people. Morgan was incredibly patient and allowed Coco to approach her at her own pace without any pressure. By the end of the visit, Coco was comfortable enough to let Morgan pet her and be close to her, which is something she rarely does with strangers. Morgan is kind, gentle, and clearly understands how to work with nervous dogs. We were so happy to find her and feel very confident leaving Coco in her care. We will definitely be booking house sitting with Morgan and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and patient sitter.”

“Katie was awesome! She constantly communicated, sent updates on our animals, and was extremely flexible, even willing to do a small favor for us while we were out of town. Would use Katie again in a heartbeat, can’t recommend her enough!”

“We needed someone at the last minute. Caitlyn answered right away. She showed up at the scheduled time and cared for our dogs exactly as discussed. We really appreciate her willingness to help us out.”

“Allison did drop-in visits for my dogs several times a day while I was out of town for a long weekend. From the meet and greet they instantly warmed to her and I knew they would be in good hands. Allison sent regular pictures and updated me on all their antics. It was great to know that they were happy and being well cared for!”

“Suzy was so sweet with our cat. She played with her and gave her sweet affection. She followed all of our instructions and was on time everyday. We will be using Suzy moving forward. Thank you for all your sweet notes and photos.”

“This is our second time using Erin and she does not disappoint! We are grateful she takes such good care of our cats and we have one less thing to worry about when we are out of town :). Highly recommend her!”

“Guadalupe is fantastic! Our very large pup loved her coming over and checking in on him while we're traveling. And our two very shy/skittish cats actually come out to say hello to her when she drops is. Highly recommend”

About: As someone who personally has an animal with special needs I understand the kind of care they need! I also have experience working with animals of all ages. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student who only works a part time job I am back and forth between campus and my house all week. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. Because of this I would be able to provide the same care to your animals as well. I live in a quiet neighborhood near several large parks. Because of this I will be able to not only walk dogs in my neighborhood but take them to surrounding parks to walk and play! Along with taking dogs out my home is equipped with cat friendly furniture, scratchers and enrichment.

About: I’ve taken care of all animals, and I love it! Big dogs, small dogs, cats, and senior pets! I have cared for energetic puppies to senior dogs that need more care than most. I’m currently working full time at my big girl job from 8:00am to 5:00pm at an office setting. So I am available before work, and then after 5:00pm. If you are located in the Lumpkin county area, then I can stop by to check on your fur babies during my lunch break at 12:00pm. Other than work, my schedule is flexible. I always take into account the safety of animals, and am flexible with whatever the pet owner does in order to keep their fur babies comfortable while they are away! I can give medications, take them for walks, feed them the diet they are used to, clean litter boxes, and play with them outside.
“This was our first time using Rover and Kasey was amazing. She made us feel so comfortable with leaving our dog and cat with her. She was always on time and sent us a bunch of pictures. We came home to happy animals! We will definitely use her again.”

“Mylissa was very sweet, patient, and deft with our dog, even when the dog showed signs of aggression. She was very open to working with us on a care plan that works best for everyone, and we are grateful to her.”

“Miss Brittany is an angel - and we are so lucky to have found her. Our animals are always so cared for, and she really goes above and beyond to make sure they’re fed, pottied, clean, safe, and happy. She is truly amazing.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
