About: I’ve loved animals from a very young age and have experience with all kinds of pets. I have about 15 years experience working in a very busy specialty veterinary hospital as a vet nurse for their emergency service. So you can trust your pets are getting the best care and I can spot a potential health issue/emergency if something were to arise. Along with my medical background I have a great deal of experience and interest in animal behavior and training. Having worked with my own dogs and worked directly with trainers for my own knowledge. The hospital I worked for was fear free certified, I absolutely carry those gentle and patient techniques over when working with your pets. Taking the time to gain trust is super important! I recently moved back to this area, I went to school in haddon heights. Since moving back my schedule is pretty open so I can focus on taking care of your pets! I have my own car and can come to your house so your pet(s) don’t have to stress in an unfamiliar environment. Alternatively I do offer day boarding in my home which has a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to run. Whatever the circumstances, I am available by phone/text always and will happily send updates and pics as often as you’d like so you can enjoy your time away from your pets.
“Greg did a great job with Jack! He stopped by before his bookings for 2 meet and greets to make sure Jack was comfortable. He went above and beyond with the walks, hangouts and training. We’re excited to book Greg again and we know Jack is too.”

“Julia was fantastic! She took great care of our two cats while we were away. We really appreciated Julia’s warmth, professionalism, and communicativeness. The updates she sent throughout our trip were very reliable and reassuring. She was very easy to connect with and our cats seemed happy and healthy upon our return. We hope to book with Julia again!”

“She’ll was GREAT. Extremely thorough. My pup ate a dead flower petal while under her care and she was quick to swipe it from him and follow through with my Listed vet and her own to ensure no toxicity. The texted me immediately too. He was all good! She took great pics and detailed report cards. She was flexible with coordinating as well. Would def recommend her to anyone.”

“Thank you for loving our energetic dog while we were away!!! Lindsey was amazing and Bruno was so well taken care of. She sent lots of updates, pictures and videos! 🐶”

About: I’ve always had dogs of all ages and breeds in the family. It is fulfilling giving dogs their best life possible. We will treat your dogs like part of our family. I have a flexible job that allows me to provide care for animals throughout the day. My wife is also extremely involved and we enjoy spending our time around animals. I have a mini golden doodle and am constantly aware of the potential dangers to her. My main goals are to keep your dog comfortable and to not send them home with a vet bill.
“Courtney is the best!!! She went above and beyond to take excellent care of my 3 kitties and also to ease my anxiety about leaving my babies for 2 weeks. She was a great communicator and left detailed notes and photos every day she visited. She spent extra time with them nearly every day, which was great because the shy cats loved her and the attention she gave them! They opened up to her immediately which was really amazing. She even vacuumed and brought my mail in. 1000/10 recommend.”

I’ve already dedicated my life to the wellbeing of animals—why not include yours in that too! I’m currently a veterinary student so my schedule is a bit dynamic! I’m free 24/7 over the summer, but starting in September my schedule becomes a bit more dynamic. Feel free to reach out and see if our availabilities are a match! About: Currently, in our family, we have a senior dog, Edie. Edie was a rescue and we've had her since she was four, she's now twelve She is well attended to, from receiving her daily medications, to her regular vet visits. Edie is my constant companion. She is usually by my side all day long. I am currently retired, so I have plenty of time available to watch and care for your K9. I am available with advanced notice. No longer inconvenienced by a work schedule. I am working on several projects for my model railroad club at home since I've retired. Our dog, Edie is well taken care of in our home. We make sure Edie is fed ever morning and receives her daily medications. She is taken to her regular vet visits. Since Edie is an older dog, she doesn't go for walks as often in the summertime but gets regular backyard visits. She does likes to sunbathe. When she's up to it, we wrestle and play rope tug from time to time. Edie is pretty much by my side all day long. You know you're pet the best, I will follow your directions, while you dog is in my care.

About: I have a dog at home, but due to her reactivity I am unable to foster or adopt other animals. I love playing and being around all types of animals. I’ve housesat for my family and friends since I was about 13. I would love to help out and take care of your furry friends while you’re away! I am currently working Monday-Friday 9-5 during the week. So my availability would be Friday to Sunday, so if you need a weekend getaway I’m your girl! My home is unavailable for petsitting due to my dogs reactivity, so caring for your animal in your home would be mostly just following your rules! It’s important to learn your dogs usual schedule to help them feel more comfortable while you are away!

Julia was fantastic! She took great care of our two cats while we were away. We really appreciated Julia’s warmth, professionalism, and communicativeness. The updates she sent throughout our trip were very reliable and reassuring. She was very easy to connect with and our cats seemed happy and healthy upon our return. We hope to book with Julia again!

Julie has been watching our cat, Bella, for a year now and has always been very sweet and affectionate towards her, engaging in play and always ensuring to keep us updated on how she’s doing with some awesome photos. We will miss her as we are moving out of state, but she is highly recommended by us!!

Hunter is a conscientious, loving and professional person. She cared for my diabetic cat for two weeks and I received glowing reviews from him lol. I very much appreciate Hunter’s style as well. She was relaxed and confident around Mick. Hunter is and will be on Team Mick for future trips!!!!

Margot took very good care of firefly! She even took the time to play with him which we really appreciate! Firefly seemed to warm right up to her which speaks volumes to her natural love and attentiveness for cats! Also , she was very adaptable when we had a little key /lock mishap (my fault). thanks again ! Definitely will book again

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
