“Kathy has a natural affinity with dogs. Bobo absolutely adores her and always comes back from walks happy and well-exercised. She understands Bobo’s needs and tailors each walk to ensure he gets the right amount of exercise and stimulation. She is punctual and easy to communicate with.”

“If you are looking for an experienced, considerate, and dedicated dog walker/sitter, then you've found your match! Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”

About: On a personal level, I have cared for and been family with dogs my entire life. As I got older, I found my current dog who has transformed my love and respect for dogs into something indescribable. After rescuing her at 3 months old, I have trained and raised her into a beautiful and fully-realized working-line dog. I have experience in advanced training of dogs that ranges from day-to-day obedience to scent imprinting and mind puzzles for high-drive/working breeds that require the mental stimulation. Regardless of your dog's personal needs, I will ensure that those needs are met and addressed in a fulfilling and rewarding way that will leave them feeling loved and satisfied. Depending on the week, you can expect to see me available up to five times in a week! I will do weekends and holidays without question. Every pet has their own specific and individualized needs. This knowledge will help me determine what is needed for your pet, such as longer/fast-paced walks to exercise a high-drive breed or a leisurely stroll for the beloved seniors. Drop-Ins will entail evaluating your pet's needs and addressing them accurately and satisfactorily.
“Julia was fantastic giving my three pups some individualized attention and exercise while I’m in the house with a newborn. She was a great communicator, reliable, and very sweet to the dogs.”

“Melissa was great with our pup, made sure she got everything she needed during the visit, and left making sure she was cozy in her bed. We will be booking with her again 😊”

“Janelle has been great with our pup! She shows up on time, does long walks, and takes cute pics of our pup! We are happy to work with Janelle and will continue to work with her in the future.”

“Sophia was great with my dog. He loves being out and gathering smells (he’s a hound). She took him on a long walk to his favorite smelling spots and wore him out which was great since I had to leave him home alone for an extended period that day. I highly recommend her and will use her again.”

“Melissa took such great, great care of my dogs while I was away. They loved her!! She was so communicative and spent time playing with them too which was an added bonus and assured me that my furry kids were in good hands. She even looked after my 'underage' one who was too young to go on walks. I couldn't have left my pups in better hands.”

“Brooke has been amazing! She’s always on time and updates me just the right amount. We’ve been working with a trainer and she’s very receptive to our new walking routine. So lucky to have found Brooke!”

“Our puppy LOVES Kelsey. He is noticeably so happy after their walks - zoomies and all! Kelsey has great communication skills. She provides personalized and thoughtful comments about each walk. I can tell she genuinely loves animals. Kelsey is sunshine! Warm, loving, and fun. Highly recommend.”

“Sydney was an absolute trooper getting the harness on my dog. Penny was very skittish about someone else putting it on her, but they were super patient and had a successful walk! They also paid great attention to the house alarm system/lock and had no issues with following directions. Would highly recommend for their calm, patient, and caring attitude!”

“Matthew is fantastic. My corgi had some special neurological needs and some behavioral issues as a result. Matthew is patient and kind in all of his interactions with Zeke. He is timely and professional. He put my mind at ease as I returned back to the office. He sends plenty of pictures showing how much fun they are having walking and playing. I would use him again as needed. Highly recommend.”

“Karina was great! When my dog wouldn’t get in her collar Karina problem solved and made the best of the visit. She kept me up to date with what was going on. Would definitely use Karina again!”

Greg was awesome with the dogs\! He was very flexible with our schedule, and the dogs absolutely loved him—especially Zion, who usually doesn’t like anyone\! 😂 That says a lot. Thank you, Greg, for being so patient, kind, and great with them. We really appreciate you

Lindsey has been amazing with my 2-year-old pup, Max, who just started walking with her. She goes above and beyond—sending about 10 photos and videos each visit that truly show how much time, care, and activity she gives. She even thoughtfully brought her dog, Paco, to help socialize Max, which made such a positive difference. I’ve had other walkers before, but Lindsey stands out for her attention to detail, genuine care, and the way she treats Max like her own. I highly recommend her to any dog parent.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
