“Kat was very communicative and awesome! She was willing to take the job last minute and truly loves dogs. I would recommend Kat to help with your furry friend!”

“Lauren was amazing with my old lady. She was patient and unrushed. My dog isn't the warmest to strangers, and even though she was scared of the new person in our home and showed her fear by peeing on the carpet, Lauren did not force her to be friends, and simply let Jovie (my dog) warm up to her on Jovies own terms. This speaks VOLUMES as to a persons ability to understand a dog’s language. I would 100 % trust Lauren with my animals in the future.”

“David dropped in twice for us to walk our dogs and also helped feed them dinner. We wrote down some simple instructions and he was able to feed them as we were getting in late that night. Super grateful, highly recommend”

“5 stars doesn't cut it! Ashlyn was great with our boys, who can be a handful, and was very accommodating to meet with me and introduce herself to them. She was very sweet, on time, and thorough taking care of the boys. She even checked in a couple days later to see how they were doing. SO thoughtful! We will be booking Ashlyn again in a couple weeks when we're out of town!”

“Sirrine is a very caring, lovely person and she took excellent care of our Hank. She even left ‘pawgress’ reports at the house for us to review when we got home. We’ll be using her again :)”

About: I’ve had my dog since she was 3 months old. We went through dog training programs together and I’m constantly learning and researching about caring for dogs. I’m a really reliable and I really care about everyone’s furry babies I’m currently in school and writing my dissertation remotely, but I can’t write forever. Taking my dog out for a walk or playing with my kitty cats are the most fun and relaxing times of my day. Please help me help you! With dogs, I usually take them out for a walk, or to a nearby park if there is one. At home, we often play fetch, tug of war, or some training exercises if preferred. With cats, depending on what they like, I usually pet them or play toys with them.

“Fantastic sitter. Loved the adorable (& silly) pics of my pup while we were gone. Evelyn was a LIFESAVER when our flight got canceled and she was available to extend the walks by a day. Will definitely book with Evelyn again!!!!”

About: I have a 10-year-old lab and a 9-month-old puppy, so I'm well-versed in caring for dogs of all ages. Growing up, dogs have always been part of my family, giving me hands-on experience in managing different breeds and sizes. I'm comfortable walking dogs of all weights, as my current baby is a 88lb lab. I can also handle basic training, including potty training, teaching commands like 'sit' and 'high five,' and ensuring your dog gets plenty of exercise and attention. My work schedule is flexible, so I can easily adapt to your pet's needs. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or regular check-ins, I can provide consistent care that fits into both my routine and yours. I'm happy to offer tailored pet care based on your dog's specific schedule and preferences Since my lab isn't very friendly with other dogs and I live in an apartment, I offer pet care services at your home or take dogs to the park for exercise and fun. I ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment or enjoy some outdoor time with a stroll and play. Your pet's well-being and comfort are my top priority.

About: I’ve been taken care of pets for two years. Friends, family and coworkers have relied on me to take care of their loved ones with affection, going on walks, feeding etc. I’m currently working part-time with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty time to spend with your pet. I’m usually free from Monday though Friday from 9:30 to 5 but other times can be arranged if planned in advance. I could be a great company to your buddy, always making sure they are fed, caress, go on walks and spend a lot of energy playing.

About: Hi! I’m 21 and have been around animals my whole life. I've cared for my 5 dogs over the years, have worked for a dog/cat daycare as a kennel technician, and even rescued and rehabbed a baby squirrel all on my own, and now have two dogs and a baby hedgehog. I’m reliable, caring, and treat every pet like my own! Pet care is a big part of my daily routine—I’m always feeding, walking, playing, and checking in on my pets. It’s like second nature to me! Whether in my home or yours, I stick to your pet’s routine feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love. I keep things clean, calm, and safe, and always make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

About: Throughout high school and college I watched everyone’s dogs while home on breaks. Since getting married and having kids, I haven’t found a new dog to call my own yet so please let me love yours! I stay home full time and love to be outside playing in my yard, going for walks, or snuggled up on the couch. Dogs love our house! I have a fenced backyard and no dogs on either side of us. I usually go for walks throughout the day and rarely see any dogs.

About: Although I don't have any formal pet care experience, I’ve grown up around animals and currently have two of my own! I adopted my dog (Nova) from a shelter near LSU and my cat (Bean) from a local rescue. I really enjoy spending time with animals and love getting to meet new fur babies! Nova is my “foster-fail” who has first come home with me in 2022! At the time, she was completely shut down, hw+, and only 55 lbs. I’ve since devoted time to learning about and implementing behavioral training and into restoring her health. Now she’s perfectly healthy, hw negative, and her personality has fully transformed in the best way! She taught me the value of building trust, understanding, and communicating in doggy (and kitty) language, and positive reinforcement. She and Bean immediately took to each other and continue to have a great bond 🥹❤️ so much so that Bean even models some of her behaviors! During the weekdays, my schedule is generally open, and is flexible as well. I can dedicate more time to your fur babies during Weekends since my fiancé can be home with our pets! Ensuring that your furbabies feel safe and comfortable is my top priority. My top priority is building trust, therefore I only use positive reinforcement and do my best to create a fear-free environment.

Megan M.
“To Whom It May Concern, It is with complete confidence and deep affection that I recommend my daughter, Megan Messinger, as a pet and house sitter. Megan is not only responsible, trustworthy, and attentive—but she seems to understand dogs on a spiritual level. I often say that animals speak to her, because she instinctively knows their needs, their moods, and their unique personalities. When I leave for extended periods—sometimes as long as a month—I never worry about my precious pets. I have one dog who is prone to illness and requires special attention. Megan keeps a watchful eye, notices even the smallest changes, and doesn’t hesitate to contact me, administer medication, or take her to the vet if needed. Her care is not only competent—it is compassionate. Beyond medical vigilance, she ensures their emotional and physical comfort. She walks them, plays with them, bathes them, and most importantly, she loves them. The joy and calm my dogs show in her presence says everything. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pets as if they were her own—someone with both skill and soul—I can’t recommend Megan Messinger highly enough. Sincerely, Pamala Messinger”
