About: As a psychiatric nurse, I offer gentle, attentive care to people in vulnerable moments. I bring the same calm, respectful presence to the pets I care for. Their feelings and situations are accounted for while I tend to their personal needs. I work part-time on an as needed basis and can work around the schedules of my clients. Available on short notice, including nights, and 12-24 hours' notice is preferred. I have a lightly fenced yard and two friendly dogs. A canine guest may be offered crating for sleep, or they are welcome to bring their own bed. Must be cat friendly. If caring for a pet in a client's home, care will be provided in their own environment precisely as they are used to.

I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street and keep alert for traffic or any other hazards. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. I carefully assess dogs we may meet on the street to ensure safety and distance if necessary. I have a good eye for ticks and am always checking and finding them, but your dog should be treated for this too. Your best friend is in good hands with me!

A few years ago one of mine went blind and needed shots every day, so I am experienced with special pet circumstances! I work part-time Wednesday night thru Sunday mornings, I have lots of free time in between and would be happy to spend it with animals. I do not have space in my own home so I would be going to my client's and am happy to do whatever works for them.
