About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, though I would like to be shown how to administer it and practice with the owner before sitting for the dog. I have some experience administering insulin shots to a cat. I work in schools, so I am generally available before 8am and after 3pm on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks and summer, I have more availability. I care for your dogs following client preferences. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.

About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.

About: Hi! As you can see, I'm not charging a lot (I set it to the minimum for Rover which is $15).... The main reason I am doing this is to get a playmate for my energetic Boston. He is very well behaved and friendly but needs dogs around to play with while I work. I am very safe with my dogs and make sure they are getting along and happy. I have a nice fenced-in area.... I only want to take care of dogs that will want to play with my dog for the day:). Overnights an option but for now, just offering day care on here. thanks! About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.

About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have had several cats and dogs of my own and cared for many more, so I am comfortable with adjusting to their different personality types.

About: With 25+ years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a vet tech, I treat each animal as I would my own. I enjoy getting to know clients and their companion animals. I feel it is important for pets to have someone familiar taking care of them while their people are away. For this reason, I will usually ask to set up a meet and greet prior to the first booking. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with small mammals (e.g. gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits), exotics (e.g. lizards, turtles, birds), and farm animals (e.g. chickens, horses, cows, sheep, goats). Whether exercising exuberant young animals, entertaining indoor cats, or just keeping them company so they don't miss you [as much], I'm there to be another one of their people! I look forward to meeting your animal companion(s) and learning more about their routine and requirements to keep them happy & healthy while you are away. You can expect to receive updates including photos while they are in my care. Drop-in visits and house sitting generally available 7 days (between 8AM-8PM) and 7 nights/week. I offer dog walking but not are occurring service on week end days, though available some weekends. My own yard is unfenced; I offer leashed walks and potty breaks in yard and/or on nearby trails. Due to respect for my 3 cats, I do not offer doggy day care or sitting in my home across the board. I have made exceptions for cat-friendly and low-key critters in the past. Find it generally works best to care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where I keep their regular routine going to the best of my ability.
About: My first job as a kid was taking care of the neighborhood pets. I’ve always had a close bond with animals and have experience with rescue dogs, special needs pets, and senior dogs. I have an extra special place in my heart for pitties and you can know that your bully breed will be safe and respected when in my care. I’m currently working a flexible part-time schedule so I have plenty of availability. I am available for regular weekly walks and play sessions, and with the summer months coming up I am also available for vacation or temporary sitting opportunities. I enjoy physical activity, being outdoors, and hope to spend time hiking and playing outside with your dogs. I can lift 120lbs and hold a current wilderness first aid certification and can confidently respond to any pet emergencies that may occur.
About: I've been around pets for my entire life. At most my household has had 6 pets: 2 dogs, 4 cats. For pet-sitting, I've looked after mostly cats and a few dogs. My experience extends from house-sitting to frequent stop-bys for feeding and walks. Right now I'm a student at a community college. This means most obstacles I will face will be class timing, however, at most I have 3 classes in a single day. I should be able to work around them. I've had animals that spent most of their lives inside and also pets that freely roam outside. I understand every animal has their needs and routines. I am well-versed in animal body language and I have experience handling pets of many temperaments, including anxious, reactive, senior, and medically complex animals. I’m comfortable administering medications, monitoring for signs of illness or stress, and helping pets feel safe. My background in veterinary medicine has taught me the importance of patience, reliability, and attentive care, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My schedule is very pet-care friendly, and I’m used to building my daily routine around animals’ needs. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, enrichment, and monitoring animal behavior and health. About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.
About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. I've also grown up with dogs in my life (a black lab/german shepard mix and a yellow lab). I have some experience with puppy training and enjoy going on walks with and exercising dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I can remember. I've grown up having a dog. My first dog was a black lab/German Shepard mix named Pretina. I would play with her, take her on walks, go hiking with her, and many more activities. My second family dog, Piper, was a yellow lab who I had since she was a puppy. I helped in her puppy training and have enjoyed all the previously mentioned activities with her as well. Many of my friends and extended family have also had dogs which I've enjoyed playing with and caring for. During my undergrad career, I petsat for my professor's yellow lab and thoroughly enjoyed caring for him when I was so far from my own dog. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, though I would like to be shown how to administer it and practice with the owner before sitting for the dog. I have some experience administering insulin shots to a cat. I work in schools, so I am generally available before 8am and after 3pm on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks and summer, I have more availability. I care for your dogs following client preferences. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.
About: When I was growing up, I was always caring for at least two dogs and cats at my family’s house. Neighbors and friends also made me their go-to dog sitter when they went away. I have loved caring for two greyhounds, four loveable slobbering hunting hounds, a giant golden who always thought he was a puppy, and one super sweet bullmastiff. Since my landlords do not allow pets, I am looking to give my attention to someone else's canine. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs. I especially appreciate dogs that behave well on leashes and like big walks. I would like to help care for dogs in the Pioneer Valley, ideally around Amherst, Deerfield, and Northampton. About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We are happy to come feed kitties and water plants. We love taking dogs out on walks and caring for them in our home. We love going on long walks mid day out in nature
