About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. I've also grown up with dogs in my life (a black lab/german shepard mix and a yellow lab). I have some experience with puppy training and enjoy going on walks with and exercising dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I can remember. I've grown up having a dog. My first dog was a black lab/German Shepard mix named Pretina. I would play with her, take her on walks, go hiking with her, and many more activities. My second family dog, Piper, was a yellow lab who I had since she was a puppy. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, though I would like to be shown how to administer it and practice with the owner before sitting for the dog. I have some experience administering insulin shots to a cat. I work in schools, so I am generally available before 8am and after 3pm on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks and summer, I have more availability. I care for your dogs following client preferences. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.
About: I have grown up surrounded by all sorts of animals and have been an adoring playmate for them all, except for one of my ferrets who only liked my mother! About: Hi! As you can see, I'm not charging a lot (I set it to the minimum for Rover which is $15).... The main reason I am doing this is to get a playmate for my energetic Boston. He is very well behaved and friendly but needs dogs around to play with while I work. I am very safe with my dogs and make sure they are getting along and happy. I have a nice fenced-in area.... I only want to take care of dogs that will want to play with my dog for the day:). Overnights an option but for now, just offering day care on here. thanks! About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.

About: With 25+ years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a vet tech, I treat each animal as I would my own. I enjoy getting to know clients and their companion animals. I feel it is important for pets to have someone familiar taking care of them while their people are away. For this reason, I will usually ask to set up a meet and greet prior to the first booking. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with small mammals (e.g. gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits), exotics (e.g. lizards, turtles, birds), and farm animals (e.g. chickens, horses, cows, sheep, goats). Whether exercising exuberant young animals, entertaining indoor cats, or just keeping them company so they don't miss you [as much], I'm there to be another one of their people! About: Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’ve always been an animal lover. I have taken care of family, friends, and coworkers pets for over 15 years, and consistently pet sitting since 2020. My shifts are Tuesday 12:30-6:30pm, Wednesday 1-6:30pm, and Friday 1-6:30pm. Please ensure your dog is okay at home for this time during the week. Some of my clients opt to have a neighbor by for a potty break, but it works for many dogs that I go right there, let them out and feed them. My main focus is providing care for animals by overnight house sitting, drop-by care, or dog walking. There may be a small travel fee added for houses outside my service area. My house sitting is very in demand, so please book early for best availability! Thank you! I will go over your regular routines for your furry family member, and chat about keeping your pet safe. I love a harness for walks, I’m familiar with gentle leads, and I carefully supervise backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye to make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I have a good eye for ticks. I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street, keeping alert for traffic or other hazards. I carefully assess dogs we may meet to ensure safety and distance, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have had several cats and dogs of my own and cared for many more, so I am comfortable with adjusting to their different personality types.
About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.
About: I have grown up surrounded by all sorts of animals and have been an adoring playmate for them all, except for one of my ferrets who only liked my mother! At an early age I began to provide animal care for people in my communities and have continued to gain experience ever since. About: When I was growing up, I was always caring for at least two dogs and cats at my family’s house. Neighbors and friends also made me their go-to dog sitter when they went away. I have loved caring for two greyhounds, four loveable slobbering hunting hounds, a giant golden who always thought he was a puppy, and one super sweet bullmastiff. Since my landlords do not allow pets, I am looking to give my attention to someone else's canine. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs. About: I am a speech-language pathologist in Greenfield, MA and love working with animals on the side when possible. I started dogsitting down in Rhode Island in 2014 while I was in graduate school. I've also grown up with dogs in my life (a black lab/german shepard mix and a yellow lab). I have some experience with puppy training and enjoy going on walks with and exercising dogs. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover since I can remember. I've grown up having a dog. My first dog was a black lab/German Shepard mix named Pretina. I would play with her, take her on walks, go hiking with her, and many more activities. My second family dog, Piper, was a yellow lab who I had since she was a puppy. I helped in her puppy training and have enjoyed all the previously mentioned activities with her as well. Many of my friends and extended family have also had dogs which I've enjoyed playing with and caring for. During my undergrad career, I petsat for my professor's yellow lab and thoroughly enjoyed caring for him when I was so far from my own dog. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering medication, though I would like to be shown how to administer it and practice with the owner before sitting for the dog. I have some experience administering insulin shots to a cat. I work in schools, so I am generally available before 8am and after 3pm on weekdays during the school year. During school breaks and summer, I have more availability. I care for your dogs following client preferences. I will let dogs out into a fenced in back yard, crate when left alone at home, keep on leash for walks, etc. as indicated by owners. In general, I would default to keeping dogs on leash during walks and not letting them out on their own unless the yard is fenced in.
