On top of that, they're very shy around people outside of our home. Sophie made connections with our animals, took care of all their needs, and updated us regularly on how they were doing. About: I’ve always felt a strong connection to animals, so as a teenager a started my journey into taking care of them. I have years of experience doing pet sitting, drop-ins, dog walking and boarding, I worked at a dog kennel for 2 years which furthered my knowledge in this profession. I’ve volunteered at shelters. I did 4H with animal care being my main focus. I am currently enrolled at QC Career school earning my dog training/ grooming certificates. I’m a full time pet sitter/dog walker. I’m a stay at home, I have two children 8 and 10 years old. Being at home everyday allows me to be there for your pet throughout their entire stay. I can do drop-ins/walks Mon-Fri and can do any day of the week for over night boarding and daycare. Taking care of animals is my passion and what I do best. My home is set perfectly to accommodate multiple animals. I have separate rooms/areas of the house I can block off to make any type of situation work. My yard is over two acres with a couple of fenced in areas for the dogs. I also have a long runner that allows the dogs to roam around the entire yard. I am with the pets at all time, I will always have eyes on them.I have crates inside but rarely use them unless needed for my dog so our furry guests get top priority. It is so important to me that your pets are comfortable and happy.

About: I have had my own pets for at least 10 years, but have also had a lot of experience caring for rescues, farm animals, and caged animals. I have two rescue pups and 2 cats that are my babies. I understand how difficult it can be to leave them behind while you are away. I will care for your animals exactly as I do my own. I have experience working with reactive dogs, and am comfortable handling them. My two rescues both have a history of reactivity, and I have worked closely with trainers to help curb their behaviors. I am patient and understanding. I currently foster dogs with a local dog rescue. Not only do we provide a temporary home, but we also help with basic obedience and house manners. I’m also experienced in giving medications as needed. I went to a vocational high school where I studied veterinary science. We cared for several cows, donkeys, chickens, and sheep. As well as managed a variety a small cage animals, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, ferrets, etc. This is also where I learned some basic grooming care. I currently work from home and have autonomy and flexibility to make my own schedule. I can stay in your home or visit several times a day to make sure pet is getting walked and some extra love throughout the day. I’m also available in the evenings and on weekends. I have two friendly dogs who are used to sharing their space with fosters. My cats are very dog savvy and stay up and off the floor if needed. I do crate train and can keep up with any schedule you already have in place. While I have a small backyard for quick potty breaks, we are very close to several walking paths.

He has a super calm energy which seems to put animals at ease. Plus my dogs really listen to him - better than they listen to me!
